Justin and Shauna were very accomodaring. The houseboat was clean and very well decorated. My wife and I loved it. The marina is super private. There isn't much within walking distance, but Uber worked well for us.

We had a perfect stay at the house boat. It looks just like the pictures. It is easy to get to the city by taxi, car or even walk. It was a bit cold the first two nights, but there were heaters all over. The only thing we couldn't find was the wifi code, wich we got after asking. But the Wifi did not work at all.

This boat was the most picture perfect weekend vacation we could have expected. Very clean, all the amenities we needed. Uber was only a $5 ride to downtown. Loved sitting outside and enjoying the sun. We had packed glasses, cork screw etc and really didn't need to. The bed is very comfortable and the ac works great. We were first time aribnb'ers and couldn't have asked for a more unique better experience. Will definitely look to stay here again!!

Fun unique place to stay when you are visiting Charleston. The location of the marina makes you feel like you are in own private little bay. The houseboat is very well appointed and surprisingly spacious. We will definitly be back!

Pirates life is a killer experience. Everything exceeded our expectations, Justin was a great host and readily available if we needed anything and we cannot wait to stay again. Highly recommended for a couples getaway. Sunsets and sunrises were amazing from the deck.

The tiny house was exactly as described and more. It was immaculate, in a safe friendly neighborhood and fun. There was also a hammock, bicycles, maps, pamphlets and nearby walking distance to restaurants and a movie theater. Brian was only a text or phone call away to answer questions. Everything worked properly and we had a great 40th anniversary celebration.

The tiny house is cozy and awesome!! We really enjoyed the loft bed and water fall shower head. There is also a Bluetooth speaker which was really nice to use. The house is located just outside of Charleston which is a quick drive to downtown or an easy cycle ride over the bridge. We had a amazing time using the house as a launch pad for our adventures into Charleston.

We loved everything about this little piece of paradise. It is perfect for a getaway for two. We loved the location because we went to the beach everyday and the city every night. What we loved most about Brian and Ava's tiny house is that though it is tiny- all your necessities are there and the uniqueness of staying in this little place was just so special. It truly made our whole trip unforgettable. Having extras like the bikes was also really awesome. We biked all over and really saw some things we would not have otherwise seen. We hope to be back one day.

Loved our stay at Brett and Shannon's! Such a cute apartment - perfect for me and my husband. Waking up with the southern sun streaming through the windows was fantastic. It was easy to get to downtown and the beaches from the location. We had a great time.

My stay with Brett and Shannon was the highlight of my vacation! The apartment was cozy and clean and decorated beautifully. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in my entire life ... even better than the "Heavenly Beds" at Westin hotels. The travel tips and local menus they left were very helpful. In fact, Shannon suggested I take a trip to the Brookgreen Gardens near Myrtle Beach. I decided to check it out and it was by far one of the most amazing places I've ever been. As a single girl on a solo trip, I felt very safe in the apartment knowing that Brett and Shannon were next door in case I needed anything. In fact, the first night I accidentally locked myself out. Shannon came over right away with a key. I loved sitting on the peaceful porch at night. They even lit candles for me. The neighborhood was perfect. One day it rained all day, but I was able to entertain myself by strolling through the neighborhood and enjoying one of the charming thrift stores. Lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood, too! Brett and Shannon were the perfect hosts! I cannot say enough good things about them!

What a lovely little apartment they have set up here! Hardwood floors, a comfy bed, a lovely bathroom, everything so clean and pleasant. These people respect privacy and let their guests come and go. This was our second stay with Brett and Shannon and we'll return again. The apartment is attractive, very comfortable, and spotless. They provide menus from local restaurants, suggestions for things to do (new ones this year - appreciated!), English muffins, local honey, a good assortment of kitchen equipment if you want to prepare a meal, and high quality soaps, lotions, etc. It's a quick and easy drive to downtown and a short walk to a neat neighborhood with some fun shops and good restaurants. Brett & Shannon are super organized, friendly, and available AND let you have your own space. They could write a manual on how to do airbnb just right!

We spent two nights in Brett & Shannon's beautiful downtown Charleston apartment, and had a wonderful time. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable, and were very knowledgable about the area as well. We found that we were minutes to almost any location we wanted, which was very convenient! In addition, the hosts are very gracious and interesting people. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I stayed at Brett and Shannon's apartment for one night over Easter weekend. It was so cute! It had a ton of character and is in a wonderful location. We didn't have the best weather (Charleston got over 3 inches of rain in the two days we were there), but we really enjoyed ourselves. They were extremely close to downtown. It was an 8 min drive to the center of the city where we went to dinner at Poogans Porch. Afterwards, we came back to the house and walked to the bars. There were 3 that Shannon suggested within a few blocks. We spent the majority of our time at Vodoo (they have an amazing pineapple saketini!). We enjoyed Avondale and would definitely stay with them again. You can't beat the price and the convenience of not being in a "hotel". The house is in a nice part of town with good amenities, which don´t carry the tourist premium - we loved it. The studio was spacious, clean and quiet. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. An excellent base for enjoying Charleston.

This cozy, clean and tastefully decorated apartment sits at the top of a detached garage in a quiet neighborhood in Charleston. Brett and Shannon met my husband and myself upon our arrival into town and gave us our space to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful winter vacation. They left us plenty of menus to read and useful suggestions of activities to participate in while we were in town. The apartment itself is so cozy, that we spent many hours reading on the couch and on the variety of comfy chairs in the living room. The bed was really comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the snacks, wine and coffee left for us were as nice touch. Had we visited during warmer months, we would have been able to enjoy a very nice outdoor patio but it was mainly raining during our stay :( The neighborhood of Avondale is in a great location if you have a car. It is about a 10 minute drive into the downtown area of Charleston and about 20-25 minutes to John's Island and Folly Beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Alison was great. Our plane got in a little early and she made arrangements for us to drop our bags while the unit was readied. The photo and description of her place are perfect. It felt like it had old-world charm but was completely remodeled and new. A perfect location to easily walk to all the restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit but still still and quite at night. A lovely apartment in a great city. We'll be back!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and thought it was great. Lot of food/drink options within 5-10 minute walk and many more a few miles away. Really glad we decided to stay here instead of a hotel. Loved everything about Charleston, plan to return to this unit in the future and highly recommend for others.

Myself and 3 college friends try and get together every year since we graduated in a new city and Charleston was our pick for this year. We got SO lucky with finding AJ's place- the location was so perfect, as we were able to walk to restaurants, bars, sightseeing and shopping within 10-15 minutes, all in a very safe feeling area. The apartment was decorated beautifully, with items and pictures from Charleston filling the rooms. The rooftop area was where we spent every morning & evening and it was perfect! She had absolutely everything we would need- kitchen utensils, extra bedding and towels, and even an umbrella for those of us who forgot to check the weather :) It was a great place for 4 girls who just wanted to get away for a long weekend!

This place is just lovely! Centrally located to everything on Upper King St and an easy walk all around every area even the French Quarter. There is no shortage of really good restaurants within a few short blocks and the area is safe! This place offers a large living room, a workable kitchen, great bathroom and a nice sized bedroom, even has a really sweet roof top room and outdoor space, you could not ask for more! Thank you Alison for being a good host, thinking of mostly everything one would need and making it a comfortable place.

AJ's place was perfect! The apartment was beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The rooftop deck was great for chilling out on after all day wandering Charleston. It is walking distance to everything, but on a quiet little street.

We had a great time in Charleston staying in Alison's beautiful apartment. Location and facilities are excellent. The view of the eclipse was superb. Charleston is a delightful city,well worth a visit.

The overall stay was excellent (though the app wouldn't allow me to click 5 stars). The location could not have been much better. Only a few blocks from King St. The road construction was not a problem for us. Despite the very hot temps, we took advantage of the roof top deck every night. Allison was waiting for us upon arrival. It was so easy to "check in." The quirky books and decor were great and the beach bag with towels included were a nice touch. The place looked just as it did online. I would come back without hesitation.

Our favorite thing about Paula's place was the location. It was about a 15 minute walk to King Street.

Paula was a great host! Very easy to reach and gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We loved everything about downtown condo with a twist! It was very clean, hip, and cozy.. we really felt like we were home and were sad to leave. The place had everything we needed.. and the netflix was a treat since we didn't have it at home. Definately made our trip to Charleston all the more amazing we felt like we were a part of the city in our own tucked away apartment.

Really great spot. As a former Charleston resident, I can say this feels like an incredible spot to get an authentic experience. Close to most of the hidden (and not so hidden) culinary gems of the city. I had the forethought to bring along a bicycle and had a blast hopping all over town on a whim. I also want to mention that I had to book this super-last-minute and I was delighted by how quickly Paula was able to get the place ready for me. Fantastic host!

Anne Marie's place was perfect. Excellent location with just a short drive to downtown Charleston and with a beautiful park within walking (or jogging) distance. The place itself was very accommodating, with plenty of space and a beautiful new bathroom/shower. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Charleston area.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne Marie's! The pictures were extremely accurate which is hard to do! It was so cute, clean, and comfortable. The space was great...she thought of everything! The bathroom was lovely and it was nice having a separate living space for the evenings. We felt safe which is important in new area and she provided everything we need. We also had complete privacy, and yet she made me feel like she was available if we ever needed anything. We were able to meet her and she was great! She provided information both ahead of time and in her space for great places to eat and see. She even lent us chairs to take to the beach! Her location is only about 15 minutes from the airport so it was easy to get to, and only about a 10 minute drive to all the main areas downtown. We were able to rent a car for only $15 a day and hop to and from downtown so easily. It really was the perfect weekend getaway thanks to her amazing space! If we ever come back to Charleston we will definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome first trip to Charleston ! Anne Marie was really helpful since we arrived to Charleston before check in time so she let us keep our bags inside the main house until the Airbnb was ready for us to get settled into which we really appreciated. Hampton park was so beautiful and great that it was in walking distance. The shower was amazing like other guests stated, it was hard to part with when checking out. We didn't rent a car and it worked out perfectly with ubering, it was nice to not have to worry about parking. We walked to Park cafe in the mornings for coffee and their avocado toast which was so good. We want to come back to Charleston soon and would stay here again. Thanks for having us !

Hpuse is beautiful. Anne Marie gave seamless instructions for check in. She gave great suggestions for area visits. The bottle of wine is a nice gesture and appreciated. Wish we were there longer to explore town. Bed was super comfy. Outside courtyard was nice.

Anne Marie's place was just what we needed for a weekend in Charleston. It's not quite a full apartment, but it had exactly what we needed. It felt super cozy, too, like you were really staying at a friend's house! It's a little off the beaten path, which isn't an issue at all if you have a car, and we found it wasn't an issue without one, either. We had such a great time walking to and from downtown, exploring the neighborhood and parks! We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider Anne Marie's place the next time we're in Charleston!

This was a great find, very close and convenient to all of the places we planned on visiting in Charleston on our vacation. About a 25 minute drive to the beach and historic downtown was just a short uber ride away. The place was just as described and I would definitely recommend this rental.

Bryan's place was great! Everything was very clean and organized. The two bedrooms are well situated allowing both couples sufficient privacy. The apartment and amenities are very comfortable and my husband and the other fellow in our group loved the "man cave" feel of Bryan's apartment. I was worried my husband wouldn't be willing to come back home after experiencing Bryan's cool apartment. The location is also very convenient and close to great restaurants like Hominy Grill. Highly recommend! Bryan was also very communicative and flexible with check in and check out times.

The room is very comfortable, have a big bed, and the place is really nice.You could probably walk downtown but we drove there. Bryan was not there during our stay but everything went very smoothly and it was real easy reaching him and getting to the flat. We loved Charleston and would stay there again without a doubt.

Bryan was a great host – going as far to invite us out for a sailboat ride one of the days. Extremely welcoming, and his house was very comfortable in a great location. Highly recommend staying with Bryan.

Charleston is a wonderful city to visit, and I highly recommend staying at Bryan's attractive home while you are there! It is not in the center of downtown, which is actually a plus. It is just far enough from the center of the city, for you to easily find parking! That can be an issue in Charleston where you may find a ticket on your windshield a minute after the time limit. Not only is it easy to find safe parking, Bryan has two cool retro bicycles for you to tool around on. There is no better way to see the city than on a bicycle! We had a blast! Charleston has lots of wonderful restaurants to choose from, but our favorite was Barsa. You can find high-quality jazz there and delicious food at reasonable prices. The cava (champagne) sangria is fantastic, the olives and cheeses truly are from Spain, and the shrimp are out of this world! We would happily stay at Brian's place again!

As we were planning our short stay of 2 days in Charleston, I checked out Airbnb for a convenient place to stay. This house immediately caught our attention...the location to downtown great, the accomodations clean and inviting and any and all inquiries to Bryan answered right away. We were very pleased with the whole experience. Bryan was available to answer a couple of questions while we were there but he stayed elsewhere so we had total privacy. We parked right outside the door which was very convenient and the neighbourhood was quiet.

2nd stay here was just as good as the first, the warmer weather made it only nicer. Love walking into town from Brian's place and the many 'local' spots one can find just down Rutledge and the surrounding area. Street parking is easy and plentiful. Bryan's place is comfy and easy. Not much else we could ask for, and we'll return again soon.

This was our first AirBNB stay, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We visited downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, and Sullivan's Island during our trip which were all just a 15-25 minute drive from the house. The house itself was great. All rooms had a private bathroom, quiet neighborhood, great TVs in the rooms after being out and about all day, and complimentary coffee to get you going in the morning. Overall fantastic quality for an unbeatable price.

The bed was very comfortable and the check in process is well organized. However the cleanliness of the room was below our expectations but it wasn't unbearable. The house needs a little TLC. Kitchen was very clean and thanks for the coffee. Good stay overall.

Overall a very nice place. My wife and I were up in Charleston for a friend's wedding over the weekend and picking this place was an easy choice. (1) The location is pretty darn good. You're 10-20 minutes from the city itself, and about the same from some nice country areas (including, for example, Magnolia Plantation where our wedding was located). (2) The price is reasonable - the official wedding hotel was the Francis Marion downtown and their rates are ludicrous. (3) Cleanliness and comfort was excellent. We'd both stay here again in a heartbeat.

Did not meet host, but instructions were very clear and when I had a question about WIFI and password, response was immediate. Perfect location - close to restaurants, mall, downtown. Very well-furnished room and comfortable bed. Perfect bath Only caveat is that if you have any animal allergies and sensitivities to smell, this may not be for you.

Unfortunately we did not get to meet Joseph. He was very quick to respond to my text about his homes proximity to tbe airport, and contacted me with door codes well in advance. The home was exactly as he described and the room and bath were very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a lot of storage space. Joseph provided information that was helpful and we met a lovely couple from Boston who had been there all week and gave us some suggestions also. The only glitch was there were no directions that I could find on how to work the TV and it was technically over my head! Not a big issue, however, and I would definitely stay here again.

Joseph's place was great to stay in. It's in the heart of West Ashley which is right in the center of everywhere you can go in Chalreston, which made it super easy for us to get everywhere we needed! The room was clean and had its own private bathroom attached to it which I really enjoyed. I was a little wary of staying with other people in the same house but everyone was welcoming and respectful. Joesph was easy to get in touch with throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Joseph is a great host and the room we stayed was very nice and neat,everything is perfect especially the food he suggested,my girlfriend said that the food in Poogan's Porch is the best one she ever had in the US.We had a great holiday in Charleston and very nice sleep in Joseph's house.I will definitely choose his place next time^_^

I highly recommend staying with Crystal. She is sooo helpful, friendly and accomadating. We had complications with the car rental she offered to pick us up from the airport (for a very reasonable fee) and then the next day dropped us off to the car rental just to be nice. Crystal has very comfy house with a relaxing porch in a really calm and safe neighborhood convenient to downtown. We had a great stay and everything we needed for our visit to Charleston. Crystal is wonderful hosts! Highly recommend!

Crystal was extremely welcoming and flexible. I contacted her to book a room only three days before my planned arrival and she responded immediately and was able to accommodate my boyfriend and me. She kept reliable and prompt communication with me up to the point of my arrival at her house. The house itself is very cozy. Located on an inlet on James Island the back deck overlooks the water and is a serene place to take in the sunrise. The house is also located in a great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and activities in the immediate area as well as being a very short 5/10 minute drive into historic Charleston. It's also proximate to the beach and wildlife preserves, making it an ideal intermediary between city tourism and nature tourism. Our room was comfortable for two, with a dresser and closet space. We also had access to a private bathroom. The kitchen space while shared, is large and would be a great place to cook dinner if one is tired of going out to eat. Crystal kindly stocked communal breakfast food, coffee, and tea as well as other staple items. Crystal was extremely warm, friendly, and full of great stories. She has a plethora of knowledge about Charleston and provides her own suggestions, as well as brochures, books, and guides sharing plenty of ideas regarding how to spend time in Charleston. She also is well traveled and will tell you great stories about her experiences if you both have the time. This was my first Airbnb experience and foresee it being my primary means of lodging whenever I travel because I had such a positive experience with Crystal. I highly recommend staying with her if you are traveling to the Charleston area.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at Crystal's beautiful home! The beds were very comfy, Crystal had thought of everything we might need, and the house was in an excellent location. We will definitely stay there again!

Crystal was a great host. She made us feel welcome to Charleston and has been doing this for quite some time. Everything was very clean and ready for our stay (and even let me borrow nail polish remover!) The deck was absolutely amazing to enjoy a cup of coffee on! Very good selection of breakfast foods: healthy cereal, peanut butter, alternative milk, fruits.

Crystal was very accommodating and an excellent host. I felt like we were staying at a friend's house with our own room and bathroom in a great location. Crystal's house is a great place to stay for a Charleston trip and if you are unsure what to do/where to go/what to eat/etc, no problem - Crystal knows a ton and will be more than happy to help you navigate your trip to Charleston.

Crystal made us feel like old friends from the beginning! We loved the porch that overlooked the saltwater river where birds came in, and there were plenty of great suggestions in her binder about Charleston. We would stay again!

The Notso Hostel was very nice. I was checked in at the regular location and found the annex with little trouble. The location was definitely the best thing about it, an easy walk from downtown. I enjoyed staying there and it seemed I had the place to myself. My only complaint is that the bed in the Kingsolver room was extremely uncomfortable, the springs were very pokey. Otherwise it was good!!

For the big city and one night stay it was good. Room smaller than pictures appeared to show. Make your own bed and unmake it too pick up key and drop it off several blocks away. Clean! Easy parking.

The home was walking distance to everything and exactly what we were looking for. Had a rowdy crowd on Friday night (a few came stumbling in on Friday night around 4am and attempted to get into our room but apologized when they realized their mistake) but it seemed like an older crowd came in Saturday and we were in good company. Everyone was very pleasant. Rooms & bathrooms were clean. Recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Monet Room! The house was really clean and bright, the room perfect for a single night, and the location great--just 1.5 miles to Broad Street (walk or free trolley). Enjoyed talking to a couple other folks in other rooms, as well. Definitely recommend!

The best deal for backpackers in Charleston. We spent one night there in the annex. Pluses: 1) The room and the shared bathroom were clean, 2) we didn't find anything else so central at competitive fares, and 3) we met nice people at the NotSo. The downsides compared to usual airbnb's are 1) that you have to do your own bed (linen provided), 2) breakfast (coffee+bagels) is served for everybody in the main building (a couple of streets away), while the annex only provides oatmeal, 3) check-in times are restricted, and 4) our room only had a bedside lamp, which did not provide enough light for two persons to read, for example.

The house was exactly as described and clean. It was nice to have enough space for the whole family (4 people and a dog). It was conveniently located near a bar and the restaurants and beach were a short walk away. Chris was extremely helpful and the instructional video made check in a breeze.

Great location and very easy to access. The video provided by the hosts should leave very little to figure out when arriving. The house is in the heart of Folly Beach nightlife so it may be noisy if you are planning on having an early night in, but if you plan on taking advantage of the local establishments, the location cannot be beat.

Great spot in the heart of Folly beach as promised. You are literally feet away from the best bars and spots to eat. Perfect for a bachelor party. The accommodations were nice, nothing luxury but honestly nicer than I expected given the low nightly price. I didn't find street noise to be bad which they had warned me about.

This property is in a great location, central to shops, restaurants and bars. Because of this, it can be a bit noisy at night as other guests have stated. However, this place was perfect for our stay as we were looking to go out and enjoy Folly Beach nightlife. The house was perfect for the four of us plus our two dogs. There was plenty of room and the hosts did a great job of ensuring the kitchen was fully stocked with silverware and dishes, and even a brand new sponge. There were plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels available as well. I corresponded with Chris and he was very responsive and helpful. The hosts created a YouTube video to help with general housekeeping items such as location, check in, parking, rules for the pets, etc. If you do not have a pet then this last blurb does not apply to you. We booked this house on pretty late notice and I did not receive the YouTube link with the house rules until the day of check in. The video is about 10 minutes long but it is worth watching if you have pets. One of the strict rules is that pets are not allowed on the bed. The rules state that if a single pet hair is found in the linens then you will lose all of your security deposit. I am sympathetic and understanding that the hosts do not wish to have pets on the bed, but the language was written so that I felt very nervous the whole weekend worrying whether I was going to lose the deposit. We were more than happy to comply with the no dogs on the bed rule; however, as any dog owner knows, it can be hard to contain dog hair. I worried the whole weekend about whether I had dog hair on my clothes before I walked into the bedroom or got into bed. We were very cautious and we did not end up losing our security deposit but this would have been nice to know up front. Other than that the house and hosts were great and we would stay here again just maybe without the pups.

We had a great time in this condo. The amenities were fine and the beds were comfortable. The location is just as convenient as it could be and all the communication with Avocet was easy. There was an unexpected issue with the parking space where there's sewage leaking down onto the car. We only realized what it was when we were packing up to leave. Better make sure they've fixed that leak before you park in the reserved space!

We stayed in this eco bungalow during our first trip to Folly Beach. It was recently renovated, and we were impressed with all of the thoughtful details. The shower is outdoors, but completely private and wonderfully appointed. (They provided the softest towels I've ever used!) There is a tiny kitchen that met our needs...but since some of Folly best restaurants are less than a 5 minutes walk from the bungalow, we mostly ate out. The bungalow is tucked into a private garden and feels secluded even though the actual location is central. It was very quiet at night as we drifted off to sleep after a long day of Folly fun! We will definitely be back!!!

We loved EVERYTHING about this place. Everyone there was so kind and genuine. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but two adults and two children (7, 1) shared it for two nights and it was a perfect size. (That being said, it wasn't toddler proof when we got there, but it only took a few minor adjustments. ) The fenced in courtyard area was so pretty! Fresh purple blooms every morning. The walk to the beach is super short- we didn't move the car the whole time. (Half a block away from a 24 hour organic grocery store? Come on!) We were seriously so pleased with everything about this place.

Paula's apartment was exactly as advertised, and absolutely lovely on top of that. It was a great place to stay when visiting Charleston.

Paula's place was simply a home away from home. We enjoyed our week in Charleston. The condo is in a great location and really just a short drive to downtown perfect for strolling through the city and walks on the battery at night. The beaches are all just a little ways away, I think we visited them all! So the beach towels came in handy. Kiawah was perfect for biking, Isle of Palms and Folly were perfect for "beaching it", and Sullivan's Island was a great way to end the week. The condo is so close to a little community called Avondale, off Magnolia, a mile from the condo. Avondale has great restaurants and night life. All the locals were very friendly and we felt very welcome the whole trip! Thanks again, highly recommended! Say hello to the Angel Oak for me, we loved that tree!

Truly a lovely and convenient place to call home while visiting Charleston! The rental is super clean and every bit at nice as the photos suggest, and stocked with many little extras that rentals don't usually provide, like ample paper products, coffee filters, quality hand soaps, bathroom air freshener, beach towels, quality linens, soft throws, even little slipper socks, really welcoming touches : ) Excellent place at a great price. It really is an easy 10 minute drive to the heart of the city and a pleasant 20 minute drive to beautiful beaches. If you perfect trip includes great restaurants don't forget to make dining reservations prior to your trip, many of the best spots book up well in advance. The only imperfect part of our experience was the noise from an inconsiderate upstairs neighbor. I sleep very lightly. The white noise machine I brought with me was no match for the TV noise that began at 6 am on a Saturday morning. It was a minor wrinkle in an otherwise outstanding weekend. We took a 2 day trip to Charleston with friends (another couple) and stayed at Paula's lovely condo. It was perfect! The location was great. The condo was clean, cute and spacious enough for 2 couples. Paula was great at giving suggestions for local restaurants. We highly recommend staying here and would happily book it again the next time we visit the area.

Just as stated in ad. 10 mins drive to downtown or $10 cab ride. Lots of towels and kitchen bits. Very quite and comfortable. Paula was also quick to come back on any questions we had.

Our stay with Nancy was fantastic. When we arrived she spent time showing us how things worked in the airstream. She gave an interesting and fun explanation of designing and creating the space inside the stream. She has clearly thought about needs of guests and provides for them. She provides beautiful linens and environmentally friendly toiletries. She has a wealth of information about the area and can offer great suggestions for sightseeing and dining. In the morning Nancy offers coffee, fruit and delicious warm homemade breakfast pastries.

Nancy was the perfect host, generous in every way. She made a point to meet me when I arrived, tour the Airstream, know the reasons for my visit so she could offer help, expertise, and suggest resources. The listing was accurate but didn't adequately describe the trailer's charm and personal touches. Every detail was well considered and added to the experience. The neighborhood is friendly and well located with easy access to restaurants, bookstore, and major roads. I appreciated the maps, handbooks, books on Charleston in the trailer. The coffee, yogurt & healthy snacks, good lighting, the usb ports in the right places, relaxing and tasteful layout, comfortable mattress, great sheets & towels, soap, the cleanliness, outdoor seating area.... Mostly, I was grateful to feel so personally welcomed to such a unique and beautiful city. Thank you, Nancy!

What an cool place to stay! I travel a good bit for work and anytime I can stay somewhere unique I jump at the chance. Glamping in the airstream was fun and I can check that off my list of cool places to sleep!

Oh my where do I even start!! This is truly a home away from home. It was so charming and cozy and had EVERYTHING we could possibly need besides our personals and food :) Clean is not even the word for this place, it was spotless. The place is just adorable and all the linen adds that special touch of luxury. Nancy goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and helps with tips and advice for the best places to eat around the town!! You must try as many as you can, but STRONGLY recommend not skipping Home Team BBQs wings (downtown). We are already planning our return trip for next fall, hopefully a couple in the spring too! You don't want to pass this place up. It is in a perfect location for being close to downtown and all the adventures that await you but being far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle and relax.

This is our first experience with airbnb and it far surpassed our expectations. We were greeted by Nancy and Phillip, our accomodations (Alice the airpstream) were excellent, clean, comfortable. We slept very well, very quiet. Nancy was so helpful in offering suggestions for dining and sightseeing. She's definitely the "hostess with the mostest"!

Nancy was a terrific host! As a former Charleston resident I thought I knew where to go, but she had great suggestions for places to see that I never knew existed. I loved staying in Alice the Airstream and my only regret is not booking a longer trip. I hope to make a return trip!

As newbies on Air BnB, we didn't quite know what to expect when staying in other people's homes. Nanc and Phillip were amazing host, and I doubt anyone else can come close to them. The space was private and comfortable. Location is great. It's only a few minutes from downtown. I highly recommend anyone to stay with them and experience the beautiful City of Charleston with Nanc and Phillip as your hosts.

Nancy and her elegant Airstream were perfect for a stop on our mother-daughter road trip through the Low Country. We wish we could have stayed longer, soaking in Nancy's sensibility, creativity, awesome ideas, and delicious breakfasts! On top of a cool respite from the material overload of our world, we slept incredibly well and at peace!

Everything was as described. Easy in Easy out. We walked to the main location to print our boarding passes. The staff was helpful.

Overall it was a very excellent experience. This was our first Airbnb that my wife and I have stayed at and was very pleased. Would definitely recommend and stay there again in the future.

This was a great location with many restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed meeting other people staying at the hostel and were glad to have the use of washer and dryer and kitchen unlike at a hotel.

I was told that this room was small, actually it is tiny. But it was clean and the bathroom is right across. The previous occupant closed the vents and the room was very stuffy, but as soon as I discovered the problem the stuffiness disappeared.

Linda's home was awesome! Linda herself was very knowledgeable about restaurants in the area, and her recommendations were spot on. The dogs were very friendly and sooo cute. The room was exactly as pictured and included lots of storage space.

I had a very pleasant stay at Linda's lovely home. Linda and her dogs are very friendly, and I never saw the cats. If you've got wheels, this is a great location in a still authentic part is town. And be sure to check out Hampton Park, just a few blocks away, and the river, even closer.

This house is in a quiet neighborhood a short ride from downtown, with easy, free parking. (Note: My GPS sent me downtown on the highway. There's an easier way -- just ask Linda.) Linda's a super host -- very responsive, & ready with helpful suggestions. The room is as pictured, feels private, & the bed is very comfortable. I appreciated the magazines & brochures with ideas about things to do & see. I also loved the animals, who are very well behaved. I'd definitely return!

I really enjoyed my stay at Linda's, especially getting to meet some new furry friends. The location of the bedroom and bathroom made them essentially private, which was nice. The street and area were very peaceful and parking was easy. Linda had good suggestions when I had questions. I would stay with Linda and her gang again, without hesitation!

Linda's home was absolutely lovely. She was the perfect host and made sure we knew everything we needed to be comfortable. She was in touch with us via text and phone and was an absolute delight to interact with in person. House was ideal with a private bedroom, bathroom and essentially our own entrance. The bed was exceptional and fluffy and everything was perfectly clean. Linda's pets were a bonus for us as we were missing our own!! Her dogs are complete sweethearts and she made sure that we were comfortable with them and kept them in their own space if we wished. The two cats were sweet as well but preferred to keep to themselves. The room was stocked with water bottles and lots of helpful brochures, and Linda, herself, was a wealth of information about Charleston. The home is extremely close to downtown and the historic area, probably less than a ten minute drive. The immediate neighborhood is a delight.

My room was beautiful and comfortable, and Linda's house is convenient to downtown Charleston. It's in a quiet neighborhood with walking access to a great park. Her pets were quiet and well-behaved and and not a bother at all - and the 2 kittens were adorable! I'd definitely stay with Linda again!

Linda hosted my son for his first solo travel celebrating his 21st birthday. He really enjoyed the lovely home and room. Linda greeted him warmly and was very helpful with information about the area and kept things very clean and tidy. He loved the "cuddly" cats. There was occasional dog barking to contend with, which he notes for most people wouldn't have been a problem but he is a bit sensitive to that. He was most appreciative of her kindness and care. With the special lodging, good Southern food, and full solar eclipse, it is a trip he will never forget!

Linda's place was exactly what we were looking for. It was close to downtown (w/bikes), and her bed was incredibly comfortable to come home to. Linda was an awesome host in making us feel very welcomed and cared for. Her dogs were also sweet as well and beautiful to say the least.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harold's duplex! He thought of everything you could possibly need, making our packing easy! We borrowed the beach kit to bring with us to Folly Beach, we used the bikes to roam about, and I was thrilled I didn't need to pack a blow dryer or straightener. Overall, Harold was incredibly accommodating and made our trip seamless!

This place is definitely a hidden gem very very clean wonderful amenities. Harold thought of everything! A great stay in charleston!

This was our first Air Bnb experience and we had an absolutely amazing time! The home was very clean upon our arrival. Harold has paid attention to every single detail in the home which we really appreciated. We loved the bathroom! The rainshower was amazing and so relaxing after a long day at the beach. We also really enjoyed using the beach kit for our day at the beach. We also loved coming home after a long day enjoying Charleston. The home was so relaxing and we definitely plan to come back. Harold has certainly set the bar high for any future Air Bnbs we may stay in in other cities!

Harold was great. He went out if his way to make sure we had what we needed. He had made an extra effort to find shade cover for the beach. He put a great beach kit together for us. Harold had waters in the fridge and snacks in the cabinets. He even had body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of toilet paper and paper towels. Very quite neighborhood. We will be back.
