  • Absolutely fantastic accommodation that offered everything we could possibly need. Alex and Kate were brilliant hosts with plenty of local tips on food and attractions to enjoy during our stay. Looking forward to heading back on a few occasions between now and Christmas before heading back home to Australia. Highly recommended as place to relax and enjoy time away from a busy life.

  • Kate and Alex’s “Hide” was fantastic. Stylish, amazing location, and fantastic hosts. We wished we had an opportunity to use the wood burning stove! Sitting in bed with the French doors open listening to the water flowing down into the pond outside was very tranquil indeed. Cannot wait to return next year. Loved it.

Primrose Hall is a beautifully renovated, Grade 2 listed stone barn conversion. It is ideally situated in the Rutland village of Empingham, within walking distance of Rutland Water’s North Shore. Empingham nestles in the Gwash Valley, equidistant from the charming Georgian town of Stamford, and Rutland’s county town, Oakham. The village has a shop, medical centre and hairdressing salon. The local area also benefits from many very good pubs, restaurants and cafes.
The cottage has 2 good-sized bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 people, and a spacious, open plan ground floor, which now also features a newly installed log burner. Fully equipped for modern living, it retains many of its original features and character. We welcome all guests, including singles, couples, families and friends. We are also dog friendly.
Rutland Water is a great place for the more adventurous with two cycle hire stores, a watersports centre, sailing club, climbing wall and Europe's largest aquapark. However, it is also a perfect retreat for those wanting something more leisurely. The walks around the lake are spectacular, and the trout fishing is the best in Europe with tuition available. Burghley House, Rockingham Castle, Belvoir Castle and many more historic buildings are a short distance away. Stamford (6 miles away) is considered the best Georgian town in England, full of hidden alleyways with independent traders. There is so much here to see and do.
  • Primrose Hall is a real home from home in a fantastic location. Dale has thought of everything- and then some more! From the welcome pack, to the “his and hers” dressing gowns, this is a special cottage. Can’t recommend it highly enough

    Kersti2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a very convenient location near to Rutland Waters. The cottage is very clean and warm and we especially enjoyed the log burner whilst relaxing in the cottage. A newly renovated space in a family home, this room benefits from its own access giving you privacy to come and go as you please and can be made as either a twin or double room. Across the hall you have your own private shower room. Please note that there is a small step up into the shower. Only 30 minutes walk into the main town your guest room is only a couple of doors away from the main bus route and very easily accessed off the A1.
We've converted this space into a quiet, comfortable and enjoyable place for visitors to enjoy. It's the little things that make the biggest difference so we are always looking for new ways to make this space even more special for our guests.
Arran Road is in a lovely estate just a 5 minute drive from the Stamford Town Centre. Just a short walk away there is a quaint garden centre that does the most delicious breakfast and cake.

We were given a place to store our bikes, and despite the rainy weather we were able to explore the local area. Hopefully we’ll be back soon!

  • We stayed for just one night. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. The cooked breakfast is amazing, with all different options. I was very impressed with breakfast order form. I love the attention to detail. We are vegetarian and that was no problem for them. The two border terriers are lovely and very well behaved. Alex communicates really well from the get go, sending an extensive list of restaurants and cafes in the area and exceptional directions to their place!

  • What a super stay! We had a brilliant time. Helen was fab before we arrived, very responsive and answered any Qs/ recommendations. On arrival, Helen was kindly there to greet us. The place is super easy to find and there is secure parking right outside your door, which is great. A lovely, cosy space and many small touches making it a very easy stay - bread, cereals, eggs, milk for breakfast were provided; as well as a fab coffee machine. A selection of books and a great tv in the cosy living room for a relaxing night in - TV is Netflix and amazon prime enabled, so you can just log in with your account. Everything is high quality and the pictures on the listing are 100% accurate, if anything it’s even better in person. A bright, roomy and light space with high quality mod cons & furniture throughout. I would definitely recommend and waking up to the alpacas in the paddock across the drive was a cute bonus. Thanks so much Helen, you made out special weekend perfect!

  • Such a fantastic place to stay with our dog before I ran Burghley 7. Huge secure field for her to run around in, great local recommendations and very welcoming check in with Helen. The annexe itself was spotless and very comfortable to stay in and the alpacas were so cute to see in the morning out the window. In addition the local pub was incredible; dog-friendly, outstanding service and delicious food. Helen was very flexible with check out as I wanted to shower after my race in Stamford and was great at communicating throughout the whole process. Cannot recommend enough!

Additional wood can be purchased for a (small economical) fee during your stay.
The Chapel is in Wing, a modest traditional village within the glorious Rutland countryside. The local pub - The King's Arms - is just a few minutes walk and excellent for food and drink. Wing situated between the county town of Oakham and the near by town of Uppingham, both being historic market towns. Each town and the villages which surround them are of much interest from an historical and architectural point of view as well as the many independent specialist shops, museums, art galleries, hostelries, garden nurseries, restaurants, cafes and tea rooms. In Wing you will find The Kings Arms Inn and Restaurant, less than a 3 minute walk from the door, which provides locally sourced food and ale alongside roaring open fires and a short walk to the edge of the village you’ll find yourself at Wing Hall where you can sample the delights of the Farm and Village Shop. On Sundays you can enjoy afternoon tea at the village hall and various attractions throughout the year. The South Shore of Rutland Water is well within a 10 minute car journey with easy access to its various attractions such as sailing and water sports facilities, cycle tracks, bird-watching, fishing lodge, walking, climbing wall, reptile and bug zoo, crazy golf etc, etc. The Rutland countryside’s highways and byways are ideal for cycling and walking alike and there is a multitude of footpaths and bridleways which crisscross the agricultural land between the towns, villages and hamlets. For fishing, walking and cycling, the Eye Brook reservoir is a 13 minute drive and Wakerley Woods is 15 minutes away. A 20 minute drive hop across the border into Lincolnshire will see you in Stamford with its nearby Burghley House famed for the Burghley Horse Trials, being the back drop to many period dramas, its gardens and its historical architectural interest. Northamptonshire with it's stately homes and gardens including Rockingham Castle only 20 mins away is also easily accessible from The Chapel. There are various golf courses throughout the county from the historic Luffenham Heath Golf Club (15 mins away) to the newer Rutland Water (10 mins away) and Greetham Vally Golf Courses (25-30 mins).
  • A beautiful place in a peaceful location. The biggest surprise was value for money! It’s a great luxury place for little getaways in the country. There’s plenty to do outside of the location, like walking around Rutland water and visiting local towns. Wonderfully clean and with really helpful touches like emergency toiletries and other essentials. Make sure to wrap up in the colder months as it does get a bit chilly!

  • We spent lovely couple of days at The Chapel, it had everything we needed. The place is beautiful and Samantha & Colin are great hosts. We were only a short drive from all the places we wanted to see and the weather didn't spoil our trip! Can I also recommend the pub in the village - the Kings Arms. Great food and friendly service :)

    Sarah2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Chapel was beautiful, the photos do not do it justice. The attention to detail was just amazing, little added extras. Full information on the area and things to do. All very thoughtful, a lot of care has been put into making sure everything is perfect.

    Tina2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, tranquil location, nestling the historic and quaint. The Chapel is refined, pristine and wonderfully engineered, with thoughtful and homely touches - it’s comfy, warm and simply lovely. The hosts are amazingly kind and accommodating too. Perfect!

  • If you’re needing a creative, thoughtful and functional space to unwind, find inspiration or a base to explore. Then this home is perfect. Tucked away in a beautiful village, the silence at night was a big bonus for wonderful sleep. You won’t be in for any problems as the hosts are proactive and easy to communicate with. They have thought of absolutely everything that will ensure you have a stay to remember. For the price, it’s hard to beat! Thanks again:)) Cheynne

A self-contained annex of 350 year old grade II listed country cottage in the beautiful Rutland village of North Luffenham, close to Rutland Water and historic towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham.
The bathroom, like much of the property, has been recently renovated and looks wonderful. Please note that it only has a generously sized luxury shower, not a bath.
The village has a great pub, called The Fox. Food is good and reasonably priced and they have a wide range of beer, including excellent local ales. Staff and locals are very friendly. There are various other villages pub in the areas and we can provide recommendations for something a little more up-market if you fancy some fine-dining. Stamford is a beautiful small town just 7 miles away. The George Hotel has hosted people in style since the crusades and is just one gem in a town rich in history. Oakham and Uppingham and smaller, but just as beautiful. A bit further afield is the wonderful Rockingham Castle (still occupied by the family that built it 400 years ago), Burghley House (the finest Elizabethan house in the country, famous for the horse trials), Belvoir Castle and Belton House. Rutland Water is just a mile away, where you can watch birds, including the famous Ospreys, fish, sail, walk, hire bicycles, climb and swim. Or visit the annual British Birdwatching Fair.
  • Lovely little snug, very friendly hosts, there’s no downside!

    Tom2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Ths was my ssecond visit to The Snug and it was just as remembered. Warm, cosy, convenient to where I was working and a home from home feel. The pub iin the village was great and meeting up with the hosts for a drink is definately worth while.

  • A lovely place to stay for the weekend, spacious with a cosy log fire, comfy bed and everything you would need. Wonderful hosts and a beautiful place to visit - would recommend.

  • 2nd visit to this clean and spacious property. Hand for sailing club and excellent pub in the village

    Fiona2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • A charming old cottage (annex/portion of) in a lovely area. The village of North Luffenham reminded me of the Cotswolds, very pretty! I would definitely recommend a visit to the local The Fox pub for high quality food and service. John and Lindsay were kind hosts who went out of their way to help us accommodate my parents for a day too. The kitchen and bathroom are lovely and modern, the only surprise was that the heating was controlled in the main house, though our hosts were happy to adjust it for us (and also provided all we'd need for an open fire.) Overall very good value and lovely to find a nice clean place that allows dogs :)

    Clare2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little property in a beautiful spot. Lyndsay couldn't have been more helpful, bringing wood for the fire when the weather turned cold. Thank you.

  • I stayed for 5 nights for a work trip in Grantham. Gorgeous cottage in a lovely area with everything I needed. I was extremely comfortable and would highly recommend.

Gamekeeper Lodge is a characterful, modern and luxurious self catering cottage; and forms a totally private annexe to our Grade 2 listed thatched cottage in the heart of Rutland. The property was designed in 1795 by John Nash, who also designed Buckingham Palace and overlooks the original thatched game larder. Situated only 2 miles from Rutland Water and all it has to offer as well as being the perfect place to explore.
Game Keepers Lodge is steeped in history, with quirky features and heaps of character. The main sitting room has a vaulted ceiling, a comfy sofa, chair, TV with Freesat, DVD player and lots of DVDs for adults and kids to enjoy. The log burner is great for cold days and we always leave guests a well stocked wood basket with the option to purchase more. The duck egg blue kitchen has been hand built to a high specification with granite work sufaces and is equipped with: Built in Oven and Induction hob, slimline dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave and Dualit Nespresso coffee machine. The cupboards are stocked with plenty of utensils and kitchen items and we also provide tea, coffee, sugar and coffee pods. We can provide access to a washing machine and tumble dryer should you need them. The kitchen leads to the orangery which overlooks the garden and is the perfect place to enjoy meals or just relax in the comfy chairs. The dresser contains plenty of books, local information, games and a selection of toys for younger guests to enjoy. On the ground floor you'll also find the second bedroom with two vintage brass single beds, with 2 lockable windows. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and features a large walk in shower, WC and wash basin. The master bedroom is located upstairs - please note the stairs are old and as such are steep. Rutland is often described as a hidden gem, and the UK's smallest county has so much to offer. With two bustling market towns - Oakham and Uppingham, as well as being only 8 miles from Stamford there is plenty to do or just relax in the stunning countryside. With its water sports facilities, nature reserves and miles of cycleways and footpaths, Rutland Water is the perfect place to walk, hire a bike or learn to sail. The nature reserve and annual bird fair are extremely popular and Rutland Water is home to the first Ospreys to be bred in England for 150 years. With 600 listed limestone buildings including five medieval churches, Stamford is a Georgian market town that truly deserves its description as "the finest stone town in England" by Sir Walter Scott. Make sure you take a visit to the 12th century St Leonard's Priory, and explore the 'Town Trail', which will take you on a historic tour through the old passageways, lanes and market squares. Pride and Prejudice was also filmed here. The lodge is conveniently located as a base for local events including: British Birdwatching Fair, Burghley Horse Trials, Rockingham Motor Speedway, CiCLE Classic, Rutland County Show, Rockingham Horse Trials, Dambuster Triathlon, Oakham School, Uppingham School, The Vitruvian triathlon, Rutland Sailing Club, Swim Rutland, Rutland Marathon

A much loved B and B very close to the centre of Stamford. All rooms are en-suite shower rooms with wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities in your room. We have a fridge in the breakfast room available for you to help yourselves to a glass of wine, lager, milk and cake.
In previous lives Stamford Lodge was a a bakery, a chemist and a bookshop now it’s home to Alex, Gemma and Elodie. We have two very friendly dogs Alfie and Otto.
We are literally in the heart of Stamford, a few minutes walk from the High Street with it’s local local bars and restaurants as well as the Meadows for lovely walking. Burghley House is walking distance which is well worth a visit
  • The venue is in a great location, a 5 minute walk into town. A car park across the road which is free from 6pm till 8am, but the price is still reasonable during the day. Lovely en-suite room, with the best bed I've slept in in ages. Gemma your host is really lovely, welcoming from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. In all its a very homely atmosphere where I felt very comfortable, it was the perfect stay for what I needed. I just wish I had a little longer.

    Andrew2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Stamford Lodge is simply lovely. Close to the centre of town, easy (relatively cheap) parking just across the road and a fab base for exploring the surrounding area. Gemma is the most amazing host with nothing being too much trouble.

    Karen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I can recommend staying at Stamford Lodge without hesitation. Gemma is the perfect host, very welcoming and engaging and she has created a very cosy and homely environment to stay in. The location is as good as it gets in Stamford, you are right in the centre with everything within walking distance and a car park across the road, which is very convenient, since parking is difficult in Stamford. And Stamford is the most charming town to visit, one of the great Georgian towns in England, used by the BBC for filming its adaptation of George Eliot's Middlemarch, and the magnificent Burghley House and park just across the river from Stamford Lodge. Gemma is full of local knowledge and so has great recommendations for places to eat and drink, to visit and things to do. 10/10.

    Nick2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • I felt really welcomed by Gemma and loved staying here. The house is really nicely decorated and very central. Gemma is a great host and I look forward to staying here again.

  • Wonderful place to stay and perfectly situated in town. I’m so glad I found it! I was up for a wedding but I’d be tempted to return to explore the area further of the basis that I now know such a lovely and fairly priced place to stay. Thanks, Gemma!

    Georgina2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stay at Gemma's was very pleasant there is cheap parking just opposite and it is right in the heart of the town !

  • Lovely place to stay, unfortunately the weather was bad when we stayed so we didn’t have chance to see much of the local area, but the place was lovely and cosy and had everything we needed for the time we were there. Communication was very helpful from the host. A continental breakfast was provided by the host which was a great touch, with a nice selection of things for us.

  • This is a little gem of a property. I stayed here whilst working in Peterborough which is just a 15 minutes drive away and was so nice to have a piece of village charm and my own space opposed to a hotel on a business park. Plus this was more affordable! The cottage has everything you need and was super clean with lots of nice touches. It's a stone's throw from the local pub and some great walks which Ant & Libby kindly pointed out to me. I'll definitely be staying here again. Thanks for having me x

This property had a contemporary renovation in 2017. It is a stone terraced building, set over 4 floors. This apartment is the lower half of the building, ground and basement floors. The 3 bedrooms are a good size, and are set in the basement (with small windows). The ground floor, has a large lounge at the front and a Large kitchen / Diner area at the rear with extending table, both rooms with double sofa beds. Due to its age, it has low slung oak beams throughout the property at 6ft

It is WiFi and Network enabled, We have installed a Windows Office PC for work / play, XBOX 360 with games, Ventilation heat recovery air to all rooms with a Nest Remote Central Heating system, LED Colour changing bulbs in many rooms. The Lounge and Kitchen / diner areas are well proportioned with space and seating for 8 guests. • We had a great stay in Marks flat. There were 6 adults and plenty of space for all of us to sit together in the lounge or kitchen. The location is great. We were worried about parking at first but there is a car park very close that we used . We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

  • Mark is a great host and his property is fabulous! Great location - in the middle of Stamford and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Parking wasn’t a problem - we were able to unload right outside the door and managed to park on a nearby street. The house was very clean, modern with all the amenities you could need. 3 fabulous bedrooms in the basement (with plenty of natural light and a feeling of space) as well as the main bathroom. A lovely large kitchen and also a WC on the ground flood next to the utility room. A lovely living room with a huge TV and comfy sofas. We would highly recommend and would love to return soon. Stamford is a lovely town - well worth a visit!

  • Mark was a brilliant host, he gave us so some great advice for local places to eat and the apartment was even better than expected. Really comfy beds and all the mod cons were there. Oh and there was even some sweet treats left for us too :)

  • Michelle has a beautiful home, perfect for a restful weekend. Michelle's home is not far from shops and Rutland lake (which is beautiful, ideal place for a picnic, bike ride or a leisurely walk). We really enjoyed our time in North Luffenham, we are already planning our return.

    Priti2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is cosy but spacious. It has alot of character and it is clear that it has been meticulously looked after! Staying there we found everything we could need from a home away from home. All utilities, pots pans and cutlery etc. were plentiful and clear instructions were left on how to use / where to find things. Although the village is small and there are few amenities on the doorstep, this is just what we were after, a bit of peace and quiet. The local pub served good food and it was a lovely place to have a stroll. The local shop was just a couple minute drive up the road so no problems getting what we needed. I would definitely recommend staying in Michelle's cottage and will definitely look to book again when we are next in the area! Thanks.

Hi. I'm Olly. My place is a nice two up two down terraced house 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Stamford. Literally 1/2 a mile from Mama Liz's bar. The bed room has a king size bed, full length mirrors, bath and shower, and an office. Kitchen table and cooker in the kitchen with american fridge freezer. In the lounge there is a sofa with 50 inch TV. We also have a garden which is a work in progress but an outside space you can use also.
My place is nice and convenient for people staying who want to walk into town. I also have free parking off the street you can use. Parking in Stamford can be very difficult.
Stamford is a lovely English town with a river running through the centre and Burghley House to walk around and enjoy. The town has many pubs and restaurants so you will be spoilt for choice in the evenings. It's a great place to enjoy.

  • Tim's cottage (and the village itself) is very pretty and the room and shower room were super clean. Basically if you stay over at Tim's place, you've got a full floor to yourself, with the bedroom on one side of the landing and the shower/toilet on the other. Tim went through the trouble to remove the second bed from the twin room as I stayed over as a single traveler. So I had a lot of space, an extra chair and table to enjoy, I didn't ask for it, but he did it anyway. And this going the extra mile is the perfect way to describe this excellent host. Nothing was too much bother, he was ready with help, advise and a good talk. Be it from opening hours of local shops/pubs to coffee, tea and whatnot. Had a fab stay and will be back, if my paths lead me back to Rutland Water again.

    Barbara2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely host, very helpful & hospitable. The room was comfortable and Tim went out of his way to make sure my stay went smoothly even down to sourcing a local taxi firm and contacting them on my behalf. I’d definitely stay again if I was in the area & would have no hesitation in recommending.

Welcome to Rutland and to Little Owls Rest. Here you will enjoy a beautiful, self-contained annex, complete with your own private driveway with garden area and entrance door. The accommodation includes a spacious king sized bedroom, a lovely ensuite shower room, a cosy snug with wood burning stove, beamed ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen.
Access into the property is through your own private entrance , up a couple of exterior steps into the kitchen area. Furnished in a simple style it has everything that you will need for a short stay. The ensuite bedroom is a good size with a UK king size bed with a choice of wool feather or synthetic pillows. Like the kitchen, the bedroom is north facing however underfloor heating and lovely beams throughout ensure it has a lovely warm cosy feel. One step down from the kitchen and through the oak door is the snug with its lovely wood burner, south and east facing windows and plenty of reading material and board games. High chair and travel cot are available, please ask in advance. In warmer weather garden furniture and BBQ will be provided.
Little Owls Rest is set in the countryside between the villages of Morcott and North Luffenham. We have a couple of neighbours who live in converted barns which once belonged to the farm and the next closest inhabitants are sheep which come and go across the road. Both North Luffenham and South Luffenham are only a mile away with pubs serving good food. There are plenty of public footpaths and small roads around the property where you can walk, cycle and explore the area. Rutland water is less than 3 miles away. Here you can take sailing lessons, hire bikes, try out rock climbing or enjoy a spot of fly fishing. It is a breeding ground for osprey with over thirty bird watching hides to choose from. If golf is more your scene, then you can enjoy a round overlooking the water at Manton golf club or a short drive away at Luffenham Heath. Uppingham, our closest town, is just 4 miles away. It is a beautiful little market town and home to the famous public school. There are also antique shops, leisure facilities and a little theatre in the town. Oakham, our capital is just 8 miles away. Here you can take in the sights of Oakham castle, enjoy a bit of designer shopping or relax in one of the little independent cafes. The beautiful roman town of Stamford is also eight miles away, filled with fabulous Georgian properties (Pride and Prejudice was filmed here). You can discover the many little streets, explore St Martins antique centre, the Famous George inn and Burghley House and gardens (also featured in Pride and Prejudice). One of the biggest yearly buzzes in Stamford is the Burghley international horse trials in early September. A fun few days for all where you can enjoy watching the top eighty competitors in the world whilst enjoying lots of great food and shopping.

  • Wow what an amazing place! Spent the first half hour wandering around in awe and speechless for once! Lovely cosy lounge. Made use of the log burner. Beautiful bedroom and very comfy bed. Great facilities and setting. Hosts great and very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

  • An absolutely beautiful, stylish and spotlessly clean little cottage in a very quiet location. Marion was an exceptional host, placing provisions in the fridge, adding a lovely touch of fresh flowers and ensuring there was a supply of logs for the fire. Crisp, cotton bedlinen, beautiful furnishings and wonderful attention to detail. Just gorgeous!

  • Truly a lovely peaceful and delightful little place to stay. Thoughtfully furnished and Marion was very happy to help with anything we needed to know. Highly recommended.

  • Superlative. Beautifully appointed, tastefully renovated, extremely comfortable. A luxurious space full of thoughtful touches (artisan bread, orange juice, firewood, fresh flowers) in the middle of a gorgeous part of the UK. We will be back.

  • Really superb place. An absolute gem where Marion has thought of everything, it's also delivered to a really high standard.

  • Daphne’s cottage was ideal for us. The location was very picturesque with good access to motorways. There was a great pub 50 metres away. The cottage had everything we needed, with plenty of room. The bathroom facilities were good, nice towels and a lovely shower. The beds were very comfortable.

    Kath2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a very pretty village in a great location! The longer I stayed the more the cottage grew on me and I was extremely sorry to leave. Elizabeth and her family could not have been more welcoming and kind to both me and my two year old daughter and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! The 'Jackson Stops' village pub provides fantastic food and is a terrific complement/amenity for anyone staying at Daphne's cottage. Book now and enjoy the best the Rutland has to offer!

We live in a Victorian town house and your double room is light and airy with a private shower room (no bath, and not en suite but just a few steps away across a small landing). It is a five minute walk to the town centre with its great choice of shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Public transport links are also nearby and we are a two minute walk to the local Waitrose store. Continental breakfast provided
Coffee, water and a selection of teas are available in the room.
We are easily accessible from the A1 by car, and are located on the west side of town. If you want close access to explore Stamford's beautiful town centre or nearby Rutland Water, Burghley House, sightseeing, and enjoy excellent food from one of several local restaurants in town then our location will suit you.
  • Great place to stay. Close to town centre, clean and hospitable.

  • Miranda’s is a really lovely place to stay. The room is comfortable, clean and warm with everything that you might need and the same can be said for the shower room. My partner and I only stayed for one night but had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was excellent too. Miranda was such a welcoming host and it was a pleasure to meet her and her husband. We also met Olive the dog who is lovely. We had some excellent local recommendations and made the most of beautiful Stamford. I would love to come back to stay and recommend without question.

    Helen2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts are brilliant, very friendly and the house is lovely. Cleanliness is above and beyond and its location to the local amenities couldn't be any better.

    Oli2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The room was nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable and cosy. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Miranda was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The house is 10 mins walk from the city centre, so it was very handy.
