It was a wonderful experience to stay overnight in the garden house(side house) with Loekie and Gary. We all surprised by the great beauty of the garden and the hospitality of the owners. I personally stay very late in the night read through hundreds gardens books in the books shelves in the house. Highly recommended!

We came earlier, than expected. Still we were received most friendly by Gary and Lokie. Lokie did everything possible to care for us; filled in the fridge and told us how to use everything. The B&B was even better than we could expect, and was a perfect place to feel at home. And soon we were sitting in the sun on a lovely bench enjoying at good cup of tea, some nice rolls and the atmosphere of a lovely garden. Afterwards we took a walk along the river, and had a perfect introduction to a very contemporary practical, but also very beautiful historical dutch river environment. Gary and Lokie gave us good advice where to go and what to do, and they recieved us with such friendliness and hospitality that we spent some unforgettable days.

On Saturday morning we decided spontaneously to go to Maarssen for one night to bring SpaSereen through Sunday. We found the B & B Loekie and Gary. Within a few minutes I had a nice confirmation and contact Loekie. The cottage we really liked. It brought the peace and quiet we were looking for. Located on a beautiful garden and the center of Maarssen. Thanks Gary Loekie and a good place to eat delicious. We enjoyed the books, the atmosphere in the home, stocked fridge, good wine, and sleep in a good bed. I can recommend this place to anyone who wants nice to relax in a rural atmosphere. Loekie and Gary are very welcoming!

We had a busy week and it was delicious, if we had some time to get into the peacefully located cottage Loekie and Gary. At Loekie and Gary are extraordinarily friendly people and nothing is too much them.

Loekie and Gary were very friendly and welcoming. Gary picked me up and dropped me off at the train station which was so nice. They have directions for nearby bike rides. I biked to a nearby castle and to Utrecht. Check with Loekie and Gary to see if you can borrow a bike and bring some bike lights, if you'll be riding at night. Maarssen is very beautiful and Loekie and Gary are extremely knowledgeable about the area. They have restaurant suggestions and know all about the local history and architecture. Loekie and Gary did a lot to ensure that I had a nice stay. I mentioned that there were mosquitoes and they brought me bug spray and after bite. Loekie brought me a large breakfast both mornings and sent me off with snacks for the train ride.

We stayed at Loekie and Gary's place for three days/nights. Everything was just perfect, starting with the communication before our arrival until check-out. Loeki and Gary are fantastic hosts; we were greeted warmly and made to feel very welcome. Gary even made an artisan bread for us to enjoy at breakfast and it tasted amazing! (Delia Smith eat your heart out!) The place itself is situated within a beautiful, bounteous and serene walled garden with total privacy. One wakes up to birdsong and it's just perfect if you want get away from city life; it's so relaxing! The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen is perfectly adequate for making dinner. There are plenty of books to read as well as brochures, maps and booklets for exploring the area. We went for a long walk along the river 'Vecht' and the scenery was breathtaking! All in all, we enjoyed our stay tremendously and we higly recommend booking this little gem.

Isabel made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. She was helpful and and generous. I stayed here twice and enjoyed it very much. The room is big, bright and the bed is very comfortable. Next to the room there is a specious and clean bathroom. I would certainly recommend this place to others!

Isabel was the ideal host: friendly, welcoming, but still thoughtful to your privacy. Her room near to Utrecht is comfortable and clean; she is quick to respond to all communication, was flexible with my short stay, and talked me through all the public transport I would need. Definitely recommend!

Isabel is a great host, the best ever! I stayed here for quite a long period and I felt at home, very welcomed! She is extremely kind and always ready to help you with everything you might need! (I also had my personal space in the fridge) The room was very comfy and clean. I would highly recommend this place, also because is very close to Utrecht and well connected (the bus station is 5 min walking from the house) and I had a great time with Isabel! Isobel was just the perfect host. She picked me up from the station as I don't know the area atall. I was in Maarssen for an interview so it was a very quick stay! The room and home were just lovely and so so comfortable and clean. I couldn't recommend it anymore!!! It must've been good luck too because I got the job :D she even gave me the umbrella because the rain was belting it down and I had a makeup interview so had to look perfect haha! It was a wonderful experience to stay in Ewoud En Catelijne’s tea house. The place is magnificent and we felt very welcome and comfortable. The hosts were fantastic, super helpful and even chauffeured us to the local bike rental. It is a superb Airbnb and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing. It is even better than the picture suggest. The house it self is super comfortable and the scenery around the house and town is amazing. It is in walking distance of some nice restaurants if you want to go out for diner. Ewoud and Catelijne communicate very well and are really easy going and nice hosts. Very nice house with water property

Great welcome by Ewoud and his wife. Amazed by the hospitality and the way they showed us their Theekoepel, which actually is like a small castle with four floors. The view from the livingroom is breath taking, making you feel like you're living in or above the Vecht. The rooms are decorated in style, where the good thing is: you have the benefits from a newer house since it's built in 1985. That also makes the road next to the house no problem, because you hear no traffic inside. On the other hand you have the advantage of 15 car minutes to Utrecht centre and around 20 minutes to Amsterdam.

We had a great stay! Catelijne and Ewoud are incredibly hospitable and the house is something special! We will be back!

Beautiful, luxurious very particular teahouse directly located at the river Vecht. Fully equipped, very friendly and gentle hosts. Beautiful garden. Just one thing, very steep staircase.

Beatiful home! It's realy as beautiful as it seen on the picture. The home is fully equipet to make breakfast and dinner. It's loveley decorated, we had a great pleasue to stay here. We took car to get to Amsterdam, it tooks 15-20 min to go to P+R Arena station and 13 minutes to Central Station and cost 1+5 euro for all day parking and using public transport. This area is originaly to have rest. There is a boat rental, beautiful restaraunt and a supermarket also. The only embarrassment with this home was to brake morning coffe on the open air with a company of swiming ducks. Bert, thank you very much!

Wonderful place. Quiet, to enjoy the silence To get around you will need a car, of course. 15 minutes driving to a p+r parking inside the johan cryff arena and another 15 minutes train to get to amsterdam Perfect location Lovely house. Highly recommended

Beautiful bungalow on the lake. It has all the equipments mentioned in your presentation and photos corresponding to reality. You can park your rental car right next to the house. Jolanda is super friendly and worried about serving us at all times.

We had a marvelous weekend in this beautiful location in Breukelen. The apartments are so well designed, cosy and just the perfect spot to spend the weekend with a group of friends. We celebrated my birthday with a group of 16 people and everyone really enjoyed their stay, the fresh air and the small town nearby. The big room in the main house is perfect to cook, sit and party with friends - I hardly saw a better equipped kitchen in an airbnb accommodation before. Toby was a very welcoming host and everything was perfectly organized. I can only recommend this venue.

We were received very well here. The accommodation is really located very idyllic and beautiful, but still close to the motorway. By dividing the houses it was possible to find any a retreat and yet all could be together as a group. The communal kitchen is well equipped, the WLAN despite many users well, the bathrooms modern and clean and every house comfortably furnished with love. We really all felt very comfortable here.

Super place! Love the peace and quiet, the privacy and the convenience. Walk to shops - 2 minutes away, everything you need. Coby is a great host and is willing to engage with the guests but also willing to give you all the space and privacy that you need. Convenient to Amsterdam and Utrecht. For my work sessions, I would leave the place just before 7 am, take the bus to the station and would be at the Amstel station around 7.30 - no traffic, no worries.

I stayed for a total of two weeks and really enjoyed the bungalow. It is actually quite spacious and roomy. The bed was comfy and Coby provided everything one might need for a pleasant stay. I traveled to Amsterdam for work on a couple of days and was able to take the train and get there in less than 30 minutes. Coby has a parking spot for guests in her driveway, nice, and the train station has a park-n-ride, although it is only a 20 minute walk. Buses are two minutes away and it is a really easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Charming setting with neighborhood church just across the canal and you can hear the church bells throughout the day (not too loud). I hope to stay there again in the future.

The welcome was warm. The bungalow is rustic though comfortable and has all that is necessary. The place is very quiet and the bungalow, apart from the house, allows to enjoy a rare intimacy when aibnb used.

It was a home away from home. Beautiful! It is modern, clean, lots of natural light, spacious.....the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Peter is very hospitable, he does helpful things and is friendly without intruding on your space. I loved staying here its really quiet and the views from the windows and outside are lovely. Many walks along the stream were had. This is a place not to be missed!!!!

Peter's place was well appointed, private, and felt separate from the rest of the house, and felt very easy to come and go. I had to go into Utrecht, and the location was convenient for that -- it's a 15-minute walk to the train station and also very close to a bus stop -- but it's also in a very beautiful area of country houses along the river, which was great to explore too. Peter was a perfect host, very conscientious, and when it started raining, even came to pick me up at the station on arrival. Breukelen itself is an attractive small town with a good selection of restaurants, but this place is very much recommended for someone who may need/want to be in Utrecht or even Amsterdam but then wants to get away from that and see something of the country too!

We were completely delighted with the hospitable welcoming of our host Hans. He gave us a ride from the station and the facilities + equipment included in the bedroom were totally useful and adapted to our necessities. He had no problem to facilitate us some basic tableware to avoid misspend some stuff we had already prepared although kitchen is not included, so it was so kind from him. The bedroom was really spacious, comfortable and thought to the last detail. We had our own toilet and total privacy during the stay. His place is really close on foot to a supermarket and to centertown + its delightful promenade alongside a channel. We totally recommend Hans’ place!!!

Markets and all the necessary ready, walking 2 minutes from the house. The train station is 15/20 minutes, always walking, from the house. We were staying at the summer house for 4 nights and everything was just fantastic! Nicolette is incredible and friendly host, every single question that we had was answered within 10 min or less! The house was all to ourselves and it has been marvelous: it has a beautiful channel facing the facade and a quiet field behind the back yard. Everything matched the pictures perfectly but the real experience exceeded all of my expectations. Nicolette was kind and allowed us to use her bikes, so we explored areas around the house. The house itself is in between two towns: Maarssen and Breukelen, both very high-end and beautiful places. You can easily reach stations, supermarkets, and restaurants with a short bike ride. I would really recommend Nicolette's summer house for future guests, and please, when you visit, go and check out territory of Nyenrode Business Universiteit, it looks like a castle and so worth visiting. Het is een prachtig ruim verblijf! Je hebt heel mooi uitzicht over het weiland en de Vecht. Het is een ruime vakantiewoning met goede voorzieningen. De keuken bezit alles wat je nodig hebt. De woning is nieuw en mooi ingericht. De communicatie verliep heel gemakkelijk met Nicolette. Ze reageerde ontzettend snel op vragen. We hebben er maar 1 nacht gelogeerd, maar je kan hier zeker weten een heerlijke vakantie/weekendje weg hebben!

we kwamen bij deze woning terecht omdat het direct gelegen is aan de vecht. en met eigen aanlegsteiger. ideaal voor de boot. op de woning is niks aan te merken. mooie grote kamer met een rust gevend uitzicht over het weiland. waar veel ooievaars te bezichtigen waren. leuke compacte keuken en mooie badkamer grote slaapkamer. met uitzicht over de vecht. waar dan ook veel bootjes passeren. elke ochtend om 6uur opgestaan voor een mooie vis sessie langs de vecht en loosdrechtse plassen. ideaal gelegen tussen maarssen en breukelen. we hebben een mooie week gehad. zeker een aanrader voor iedereen! bedankt remko en nicolette.

Mooi ruim verblijf, zeker ook ontbijtjes nemen en het uitzicht is top. Zeer vriendelijke en enthousiaste verhuurders met een 2e huis naast hun eigen huis in een unieke waterrijke omgeving.

Truus is a really great host, her place is really clean and comfortable. Also is near Amsterdam and with easy access.

Staying at Truus was from beginning to end very pleasant. She welcomed my daughter and me friendly and did everything to make us feel at home. The room was large and pleasant, the bed super comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The bathroom was equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Everything was very clean. Morning, there was a substantial breakfast and then it went for us even further. It was great at Hilda!

Hilda was a cordial, warm woman. They gave us a good feeling a Welcome and we had all the freedom in her home.

Truus was very welcoming with an engaging personality and it was a pleasant surprise to see her at the train station, even though she did not have a lot of information regarding our arrival. Lovely home and garden. Private room and bathroom with access to WiFi. Towels and toiletries were provided and it was very kind of Truus to prepare breakfast. Her home is 3 mins walk from the Maarssen train station. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay again! Thank you Truus for your warm hospitality!

Margy is a super hostess. The place is fantastic and the decor and amenities of the house are excellent .... everything is present. You really come home with someone who has decorated that house with love. Restaurant The Drechthuis and the small supermarket very close. All tourist attractions in the area are easy to reach. The trampoline in the garden is really an added value for all children. However, with small children the water around may be a problem.

Margy and her husband were fantastic hosts! They had food in the fridge and were very accommodating meeting us at a late hour. The house was entertaining for our 3 kids. They loved the trampoline, games and playground areas nearby. I loved being able to walk to the store and dinner every night. Definitely a great choice for traveling around the Amsterdam area!

This was a great house! Clean, with a great location for all the day trips we planned. Margy and her husband were awesome host and I would defiantly recommend this place if you have kids or a larger group. We had two families, so 8 people total (4 kids) and we had plenty of space. The trampoline was an added bonus for the kids. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore anything around the Amsterdam area. We visited Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans and Amsterdam.

We had the best time at Margy's place. 2 houses in a very quiet and pleasent camping area close to Utrecht. The beds were comfi and there was a large living room to relax in. Out side the house there was a trampoline which the children loved. Margy made sure that we have all we need, including wine, Fruit, Cheese, beer and chocolate! The kitchen included all the necessities and much more! Margy was very nice and helped with all that we needed. We highly recommend!

This was our 2nd visit at the chalet next to the lake and we really enjoied the beautiful flat, the jacouzi and the boat. Great for a short Holiday!

There were really a couple of great days in the chalet. Everything is lovingly and functionally furnished. You can relax very well. The bed is very comfortable and we could sleep relaxing. Many Thanks

Arno and Dieke's chalet is a wonderful spot and perfect for a relaxing holiday and exploring the surrounding countryside. The chalet is on a waterside development within a large campsite and marina complex but well away from any noise or disturbance. It's well furnished and sat in mature gardens with room to stretch out both indoors and out. Special mention should go to the top range BBQ and super fast wifi. You can watch Netflix while the steaks are sizzling. The location is ideal with the beautiful river Vecht a km away, quiet lanes run alongside the river allowing you to cycle along admiring the mansions that line the water front. Arno and Dieke's boat gave us the chance to travel all day on the water as well. You can follow a circular route taking in lakes, canals and rivers, all very easy. Amsterdam and Utrecht are a short hop away; the park and ride (P+R) for Amsterdam is excellent, Utrecht less so. Schiphol airport is less than 30 minutes drive away and we were met by the ever helpful Jolanda on our arrival at the campsite. All in all very professional set up with none of the 'sort yourself out' attitudes we've come across at other holiday accommodation. If you're looking for an easy holiday in one of the prettiest bits of Holland this chalet is for you.
