Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. The B&B is located in Blokker: a small village in the province of Noord-Holland, located near the historic port cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. The accommodation is located on quiet water and 1.3 km from Enkhuizen, known for its VOC history and the Zuiderzee Museum. It is a unique location as a stylishly renovated barn. Boat rental is possible. For children, Sprookjeswonderland is recommended. The station is 350 m away, Het Streekhof shopping center and Het Streekbos recreational area are 1 km away. Here you can hike, bike, sail or climb. Shopping and lunch can be done at Dirk de Wit or get a fry across the street.

Ons zelf ontworpen huisje ligt midden in de velden, op 45 minuten rijden van Amsterdam. Het staat op een kleinschalig recreatiepark, waar wij ook een ander huisje hebben onder de naam Familie Buitenhuys. Je slaapt in een volledig huisje met vloerverwarming en alle comfort. In de master bedroom staat een bad bij het raam, met uitzicht over de weilanden. Vanuit het bad zie je Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Licht, eigenzinnig en speels ingedeeld. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.
