There are also many nice excursions possible to Naarden fortress (10 min) or to Loosdrechtse lakes. The house is in a quiet neighborhood.

The cottage is located on the Eempolder, a nature reserve where many birds can be found. The Gooische heath and forests are within cycling distance.
