The garden house is in the middle of our 2000 m2 garden. At the edge of the garden, you will find the sauna and hot tub overlooking the meadows. We live here a large part of the garden, and like to share the richness of the outdoors with others.

In the evening, you will be treated to the sun setting over the Mookerheide, which can be admired from your private deck terrace. Sleep under a large dome roof with all the facilities in the house. Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Vacation home aan de Maas in Broekhuizen / Arcen

You rent a beautiful upper house from us with a panoramic view over the Meuse in both directions. You will see the ferry going up and down and there are ships and yachts passing by you all day. The picturesque village of Broekhuizen is rich in cozy restaurants with terraces on the Maas. You can cycle between the rose and asparagus fields, through forest and nature reserves on quiet roads and paths. The apartment is suitable for couples, business travelers, and families. There is wireless TV.

The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

The Old Glass Factory

The Oude Glasfabriek can be found in the popular Nijmegen district "Oost". The property is located on a quiet path where you can mainly hear the birds. Yet, it is in the middle of the neighborhood. Within a few minutes' walk, you have a wide choice of cozy cafes and restaurants. The city center, the Waalkade, the Ooijpolder or the woods are nearby. Radboud University and the University of Applied Sciences of Arnhem and Nijmegen (HAN) can also be reached by bicycle within a few minutes.

The landscape invites you to beautiful hikes and cycling tours. If you want a little more action, e.g. for the little ones, you are very well taken care of in the nearby Kernwasserwunderland. The cities of Kleve and Emmerich with a very nice Rhine promenade are very easy to reach on foot in 1 hour or by bike in 0.5 hours.

Welcome to our cozy guest house in Malden, located in the vicinity of various forest and nature areas such as the Mookerheide, Hatertse Vennen, Kraaijenbergse Plassen and the Reichswald. Nijmegen city center (8 km) is 15-20 minutes away. A bus stop with direct bus connection to Nijmegen Station is 75 meters from our home. Various amenities, such as supermarket and restaurants, are within walking distance. Thermen Berendonck is a 14-minute drive.
