What an incredible stay! Very convenient for our intended stay, and great value for money! Upon meeting Brian, he was very friendly and incredibly helpful in regards to showing us how to work everything in the home. It’s a lovely little secluded place with excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, and it’s right next to a walking track which could provide ample enjoyment for those who love to stretch their legs. Would love to come and stay again!

Lovely cosy cabin in idyllic location, perfect for a weekend get away. Cabin was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Hot tub was such a nice addition and perfect to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend and would return 😊

We really enjoyed our stay - the pod was comfortable and well equipped, and onsite management team were friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, very quiet; and lots of things to do in the local area. I suspect we will return in the future!

We stayed here as a half way stop off between him and the beach. The restaurant/pub was excellent. Staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Accommodation was clean and comfy. Our boys had a really great sleep too, which is an accomplishment in itself. Thanks again!

The place was stunning and very peaceful, for who likes the animals company. I loved that we were so close to them and lots of nature surrounded. John was super helpful and kind. Definitely a good place to escape from the city and technology.

It was our first time booking through air bnb and we couldn’t be happier. Fiona’s shepherd’s hut was everything we needed and we cannot wait to come back. Very tranquil area with plenty of walks, Richmond is worth a visit as is Middleton Lodge Estate. Fiona is a lovely host and has done a stunning job with this place. Thank you Colin for a lovely weekend! The cabin was beautiful- pristinely clean and very well thought-out with lots of lovely little touches to make staying there comfortable. Colin was also extremely kind and flexible with our booking- I broke my toe right before we were originally supposed to stay and he let us rearrange with no fuss- as it was such short notice he had no obligation to do this so it was extremely appreciated! Our trip when it eventually came around was well worth the wait, Colin's instructions made everything very easy and we had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend!

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

I stayed in flora at the garden rooms, it was an easy quick check in and was given a friendly welcome and informative instructions on the use of the log burner hot tub, its in a scenic spot and I had a great time, we were greeted with a welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of Prosecco, not many places go down to little details like this, absolutely perfect stay.

Just wow. We had a great time in a truly wonderful location. So peaceful (apart from the beautiful lambs everywhere!). Ashley was very helpful and easy to communicate with. He also provided excellent recommendations for things to do within the local area. Would not hesitate in returning. Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

What a lovely find! Really peaceful, you feel like you are the only ones in the woods. Loads of wildlife to see and the bubbling creek was so soothing and picturesque. We had breakfast outside watching the fields opposite. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. Jordan was so lovely and very attentive, he was quick to assist answer any questions we had. The village is beautiful! We had dinner in The White Bear pub, food was gorgeous and the land lord was such a gent. All in all, a fantastic weekend away!

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay @ Andrew and Fionas place ... beautiful countryside and a great walk that started from the rear of the garden that was recommended by Fiona... the lodge is lovely and the hot tub is an added bonus.... we were lucky with the weather and had 2 glorious sunny warm days ... Blue the friendly Lab was also a welcome addition and called to see us on a number of occasions !... overall we had a great break made all the better by the friendly and welcoming hosts... thank you... Ian and Claire :) x

Louise accommodated us and our two dogs at a very late notice! With a night in the Hen House & a night in the Rookery, they’re both very suitable for a relaxing time away! The dogs LOVED the secure field at the Rookery. Louise & Matt were super helpful, after a cold night due to a heating leak, they provided us with heaters with a smile! Super peaceful location, busy with pheasants, chickens & rabbits.

John is an absolutely brilliant host and a top bloke too...from the moment we arrived john was there to greet us with a very friendly warm welcome and a little tour of everything there is, including the cool little barn playroom with a good pool table and just a very quirky feel to it. The cabin is a lovely little place inside and out...although I'm not a keen camper and this was my first time glamping as such john was there on call at 11pm just to come over give us a hand at getting the fire set just perfect for us.. We will be back at some point but next time will try one of the rooms instead of the cabin (plus I won't have to drag you out near on midnight again haha) All in all we've had a brilliant time and would 100% recommend this place to anyone! Ps...he supports a great football team too 🙌🏼

We really enjoyed our night away in our cosy little shepherds hut. The surroundings were stunning and our hut was absolutely spotless. It was in a great location. We enjoyed a lovely meal in a local pub only 10 minutes drive away. The hot tub was definitely worth the extra £50. It was lovely and hot as we kept adding the logs on the fire. It was a lovely relaxing experience and amanda was a great host. Very helpful and recommended places to eat nearby. We just wish we booked an extra night. We will be returning in the future. Lovely relaxing weekend spent here in mid March. Second visit after a few years gap and the return trip did not disappoint. Bruce is the perfect host, interesting and interested, a very warm and generous welcome - made to feel at home and then left to relax and unwind - exactly as I remembered from my first trip. Cosy wagon, comfortable bed, hot shower, incredible views. I would highly recommend a visit.

We had a lovely peaceful 2 night stay to celebrate my birthday. The hot tub was lovely to relax in after a busy day walking around Brimham Rocks We chose this property for the reason of pure peace, quiet and away from the busy hustle and bustle of life and that’s what we had - the car was parked up for the whole duration, no iPads or phones - I even started to read my first ever book!!! Heaven 🙂

Massive thank you to Anthony and Barbra! A beautiful 3 night stay in nature was absolutely needed. Booked a 3 night stay for my partners 30th. Showering outside was the icing on the cake! Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a break away from it all. We eat at “the old gate” restaurant twice while we were here and would absolutely recommend it as a place to eat, the roast dinner was delicious! Anthony, you have thought of everything and have a beautiful home. Wish you and Barbara all the best x

We had the most incredible time in the shepherds hut. We paid to meet and greet the boys and it was amazing, cat was so lovely and welcoming. The hut was gorgeous inside and the hot tub was just incredible. My fave part was watching and playing with the goats and getting to cuddle the sheep. The most peaceful weekend I’ve had. We will definitely be back x

We had a lovely trip staying in the shepherds hut for a few nights. beautiful scenery all around, a good chat with Fiona about farm life and seeing the lambs, spying all the different types of birds on the farm. No phone signal and a few days in nature does wonders for you. Very happy with our stay.
