Beachfront holiday rental in Rye

I had a really lovely stay! Paul was really responsive over message and flexible in letting me drop luggage and check in early as the flat was ready due to an early check out. The flat is so well stocked and Paul goes above and beyond, supplying bread, milk eggs, cereals etc and the bathroom is stocked with everything you need should you forget anything. Location is very near the train station and St Leonards and Hastings is lovely. I found a lot of things were closed on a Sunday or Monday but there was still a lot to wander around and I loved the peacefulness.

Everything was perfect and beautiful. Christophe's accommodation is a true haven of peace, decorated with great taste and offering an incredibly soothing atmosphere. Every detail has been thought out for comfort and well-being, and we really enjoyed every moment spent here. Impeccable cleanliness and very nice location near the beach.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

What a wonderful place……everything as described….David & Donna provided a great welcome pack. The house had everything needed for a relaxing break. Beach was quiet and clean. Games room was a hit for the competitive people in our group! View from the sitting room was stunning ……Plenty of parking and was very easy to find.

Thank you Mathew for allowing us to stay with our dogs. Even though our stay was an emotional one, we felt right at home and that made things a whole lot easier. Being Autistic with other disabilities/difficulties, it can be very hard travelling and staying away at different locations. From the moment we arrived we felt like we belonged which really helped me to cope, thank you We loved the basement apartment, it was perfect from everything it offered, to the unique quaintness of its character, to how quiet it was, to feeling so warm and inviting. We look forward to returning again

This was our fourth stay here at David's Annexe which really speaks for itself. It's the gift that keeps giving each time we return. The annexe was spotlessly clean as always ,with all aspects of our stay catered for.We wanted for nothing in the chalet as everything had been thought out carefully. Even dog blankets and doggy treats for those who bring a dog,although we didnt. The weather was beautiful every day,which was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable,and the kitchen area was superb. The milk in the fridge which was waiting for us on arrival,along with the yummy biscuits were really appreciated after a long journey. David and Lisa our hosts as always were more than happy to help out with any request,always with a genuine smile that made such a difference. We want to mention Reggie their lovely dog,who always made us welcome when we sat out on David's private beach on the seats he so kindly made available to us for free use. So in a word it was Utopia. We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. Absolutely stunning location with an amazing view overlooking farmland, but only a short walk on to camber sands beach (2 minutes). We sat out every night and watched the sunset over the back of the caravan listening to all the wildlife. It's in a busy park but tucked in a corner so you wouldn't even know! The park itself was so good for the kids, loads of activities and entertainment on site to keep them occupied! The caravan is nicely laid out with lots of room for everyone (family of 5 + dog). We would definitely visit again!

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Dolly’s Delight was an absolute treat. We very kick enjoyed our stay there. Superb accommodation, with luxurious bedding, 2 good showers, very well equipped and with a view of the sea. By night the stars shone brightly. The Bay is a lovely quiet park but with the benefit of the facilities at the main park 1 mile up the road. We ate at The Boathouse one evening and the food was very good with some good choices for children. We’ll definitely be booking again. Thanks Jenny.

First time hiring a hut and I’m so glad I did. This little hut was cute and had everything you needed. I messaged Maria asking for a little something for my mum’s bday and she did 😊. No bad reviews we’re planning on hiring more often, all it could do with is a little tlc ie painting needs updating, the windbreakers need replacing and possibly something for the ground by the doors as it’s hard to open the doors with the stones. But other then that it was lovely and we had such a lovely time , we locked everything up in the hut and took a walk to the pier and came back it was lovely thank you ☺️

Lovely place, within walking distance to the amenities, very clean, loved the games in the cupboard. Very well equipped and the bunny population was an added bonus! We highly recommend

We stayed here with our nearly 4 year old son & it was amazing. It was just like the photos, beautifully styled. The view was beautiful (I sent a photo to my friend & she thought we were somewhere in the Mediterranean). We arrived after reception closed so couldn’t register our car. I contacted Monica & also emailed reception. We just registered the car in the morning. We took a chance with the slanted ceilings as my partner is 6ft4 but he wasn’t bothered by it and downstairs is spacious. The pool was closed as it needed work done to it, obviously it was something out of Monica’s control, but she communicated this to us as soon as she found out & she was very helpful. Monica was responsive & helpful the whole time. She was always so friendly. When a bulb went, she got it replaced so quickly. The WiFi wasn’t working (provider’s fault) & Monica regularly kept us updated, but it was actually nice to disconnect for a few days. We had a lovely stay & our son is desperate to go back.

Amazing, responsive, accommodating and understanding host :) We accidentally checked in 2 hours early as we didn't read the instructions quite closely, thinking that we had to check in *before* 3pm instead of after! Thankfully, the cleaner that arrived at the time and David himself were completely understanding and extremely kind and understood! The apartment is clean, beautiful and next to amazing locations that are easily walkable. Definitely worth the price and an exemplary place to stay at :)

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need provided for. Helpful local information and books were a bonus. Friendly communication and clear instructions were helpful. Dungeness is a unique place, and the cottage is so well situated for views, walks, very close to Prospect Cottage, Pilot Inn and Snack Shack. The little railway was great fun (we walked to the station). On our last night there was a storm and we watched the lightning over the sea and power station which was amazing! Thank you for being great hosts.

Beautifully decorated, traditional British beachside accommodation. A literal stone’s throw from the beach. Clare is a friendly, kind and helpful host. You couldn’t ask for anything more if visiting this part of the world. 5*

A friend & I stayed a single night in this beautiful house/apartment, while on a cycling tour, & it was a wonderful surprise. Loved the whole place, the layout over several levels, decor & views of the beach & seascape from the lounge & main bedroom, as well as the well-appointed kitchen. It was all very relaxed & homely while clean & unfussy. Everything we needed was walkable in a few minutes. Deborah was quick to respond with really clear instructions & provided contact details for any further follow up. If I ever need a place to stay in the area this will be my first look up.

Had the best few days in Margate! This airbnb felt so lovely and homey and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and come back myself!

The accommodation has everything you need. We spent 1 night, unfortunately the weather wasn't great. The view from the balcony is great. I recommend the place.

Really lovely to stay here facing the sea. It’s close to cafes and art shops, also some nice restaurants. Apartment is clean and nice, got that nice vacation vibe.
