Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rutten

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

What a lovely place in an oasis of peace. We were with 4 friends in the beautiful stay of Aljanneke. An oasis of peace and nature and a beautiful house with all modern amenities and comfort. Aljanneke is a super host! Nice communication and full of good tips, someone who fully understands hospitality. We would definitely come back!

Fabulous stay at Cottage Paulus What a great experience! The forest cottage "Paulus" is tastefully decorated and is located in a beautiful, quiet place in the middle of nature. Exactly what we needed to completely recharge. We were there with our two dogs, and they too had the time of their lives. The spacious, fully fenced garden was perfect – safe and large enough for endless snooping and scrambling around. Fareen, the hostess, is incredibly friendly and helpful. From the first contact, everything felt familiar and relaxed. She was quick to respond to questions and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves peace, nature and an animal-friendly place with character. We will definitely come back!

Had a wonderful stay with Barbera and Jurjen. Due to the orientation of the cottage, you have the idea that you are staying all alone in the middle of nature. In the morning, you wake up to the stork of the storks on their nests, and in the morning sun you can enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of the area. Earnewald is within walking distance of the cottage and offers the much needed amenities. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Remote enough to be peaceful. Close enough to access everything we needed. Plenty of room, careful attention to detail, a lot of unexpected bonuses like food, wine, spa elements, etc. Very comfortable and easy. Ina was very gracious and we had no issues.

Had a great weekend. Enjoyed the nice garden with various seats and of course the wellness. Cottage really has all the comforts and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful quiet area and a 20-30 minute drive from various nice cities. Joop and Thea are very friendly and are there for you immediately. In short, highly recommended!

We had a great time during our girlfriend weekend. A lovely cottage with nice amenities. Everything was thought of. We also enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Perfect for a weekend with friends or family. Hari is incredibly friendly. We will be happy to come back!

This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb mountain we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit of Kitty and Erik in every room, every item we loved. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for what's special - just like we are! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make yourself a plentiful first breakfast and more. The stairs up are very steep, but well secured, and our 70-year-old joints were also quick to get out. We really enjoyed these days and it was like coming home every time. Thanks for everything! We were very excited about the yard, the garden and the apartment. There are so many beautiful details that you would need many days to discover everyone. Everything was so creative and cozy, you can tell that a lot of work, passion and love is in things. We also liked the animals very much.... We had a very warm welcome and lots of great tips for excursions - just because we were also traveling with dogs, it was wonderful that they could also have their fun and we could take them everywhere...we had a nice time and filled them well! Thanks to Patries and Mike and their animals!!

We had a great time at Annedoor's place. Check-in was super easy, Annedoor showed us around and explained everything. The cottage is in the countryside, it is very quiet and you can walk with dogs in the adjacent forest. We thought it was nice to be woken up by the rooster in the morning:) The cottage was totally cozy and we felt very comfortable. We particularly liked the fireplace and the numerous books, CDs and records. You could definitely make yourself comfortable. We will be happy to come back for a little break! :)

Very nice, communicative hostess. The surroundings were very nice to walk the dog. The cottage has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We had nice conversations with Trienie and she gave us good tips for doing things. We will be happy to return.

This was the second time we stayed with Ciska in Otterlo. Last time it was winter, now we were there in spring, with lovely weather! It was nice to see and hear the birds, to be able to sit outside in the sun and get on the heath. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds sleep wonderfully and the house is cozy and cozy. In short, it was fantastic again!

We felt like kids at summer camp! The property is charming and full of character-just like Han and the stories he shared regarding the cabin,the windmill, and the houseboat. Kelly gave us great ideas for day trips and allowed us to live like the locals do.Hope to visit again one day and thanks for all your hospitality-such a wonderful trip!

Really a fantastic cottage to completely relax in nature. The big window is great. We were facing the sun that shines among the tall trees, the birds on the ground, and the woodpeckers and squirrels. In the afternoon after coming home from our day activity, we even saw a deer from on the property less than 20 meters away! Furthermore, also perfectly located to do fun things in the surrounding areas.

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

Had a few wonderful, relaxing days in Gerda's chalet. Everything was available, nicely decorated. Also outside, it is wonderfully quiet in the garden. Otterlo within walking distance and lovely area for walking.

Magdalena's place is set in an enchanting setting. We stayed there several nights with our 7-year-old son. The space is big, we have plenty of space. Access to the bus to Amsterdam is simple: 15 minutes walk and 15-20 minutes by bus, very easy and very convenient! By car we were able to visit the surrounding fishing villages. We would recommend this listing.
