Charming and idyllic cottage by a peaceful, clean lake in Toivaka. Great for families and remote work. Atmospheric in the fall and winter, it's completely winter habitable. Lovely at Christmas time as well. Beautiful sunny yard with lakeside sauna and large deck areas. Beach in south/lunch direction. On the dock, ladder to the water. A good road to the yard that is plowed all the way to the door in the winter. Toivaka services 7 km away. The cottage is for your own use, which is why the calendar is updated in parts.

Pihakammari (winter habitable)

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo municipal hall are 2-3 km away, Muurame church 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.

There are plenty of board games for rainy days. In summer, the best things to do are swimming, rowing, skimming the lake, and watching the sunsets... In winter, you can access snowmobile trails, ski on the ice, snowshoe, and find sleds, sleds, etc. In winter, you can see the northern lights.
