Close to nature and relaxing – right next to the Eifel National Park. The tiny house is located above Lake Roer. Hiking trails are right in front of the house. Walks in the snow and the cozy warmth in the cottage provide relaxation & coziness. In summer, the lake with beach invites you to swim & do water sports. There is no direct lake view (trees in front), but the wonderful viewpoint 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' can be reached in two minutes (100 m), where you can watch the stars undisturbed at night.

In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. It is conveniently located between Cologne, Aachen and Düsseldorf. These cities are very well accessible by train from Düren main station. The Eifel can be reached in 10 minutes. The center of the city of Düren is 3 km away from the apartment. In addition, the location is ideal as a starting point for cycling tours along the Rur.

2020/21 haben wir das alte Bauernhaus meiner Großeltern mit viel Herzblut und Liebe zum Detail vollständig saniert und die untere Etage zu einer großen Ferienunterkunft umgebaut. In unserem alten Bruchsteinhaus in Monschau-Höfen finden nun bis zu vier Naturliebhaber, Wanderfreunde oder Erholungsurlauber ihren Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Die Unterkunft ist nur bedingt für Kinder unter 1 Jahr geeignet. Hierzu bitte ich um Vorabanfrage. Parken kann man direkt vor der Haustüre auf dem großen Hof.

The house offers about 36 sqm of space for two people. Due to the open living concept, you have a fabulous view of nature from everywhere, only the bathroom with shower and toilet is separated by a door. From the living room/bedroom you enter the terrace. Rursee, Hohe Venn and Monschau. Price includes 5% Eifel overnight stay fee.
