Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Røyken Municipality

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We had a fantastic, beautiful weekend in Hege's house and garden. Everything went smoothly from booking to checkout. Great communication throughout. Hege was very nice and welcomed us with cake and coffee when we arrived. The house is very cozy and the garden and the garden room are a pearl without equal! Beautiful area and within walking distance to Horten city centre and the beach promenade, as well as 15 minutes driving distance to beautiful Åsgårdstrand. Thank you so much for a 10 out of 10 stay!

Was a beautiful place. Right spot to be….

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, warm, and full of natural light. It was perfect for our family and especially suitable for kids. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

Very cozy house, plenty of space but still intimate. The fjord view for breakfast was wonderful! Nice streets to walk in. Jeanette was the perfect host. Kitchen with what you need. Nice modern bathroom. We'll take the trip again ☺️

It was a nice house, however, the kitchen was a bit lacking, there were only 4 champagne glasses, no salad bowl, no bread bowl? Then there were no wardrobes with hangers in the rooms, no hangers for towels, otherwise a very nice and pleasant house.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Lovely cottage with a large lovely hot tub. Perfect for large group of friends or multiple families. Also located very nicely with a good distance to the next cabin.

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he quickly came to the place and fixed it. Delightful heated pool. Quiet and peaceful area with short distance to the sea.

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

Asmund place was perfect for our family group to attend ski races at Holmenkollen. Beautiful views. Great public transportation.

The apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Helge is friendly and responsive. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook all meals. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to everything in the city. Black out shades and fans for all bedrooms would be beneficial. We had a wonderful stay!!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Norway. The place has a warm, authentic Norwegian charm that made me feel right at home. Everything was clean and well-prepared, and the peaceful surroundings added to the relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a true Norwegian experience!

Outstanding place, very clean and spacious, excellent facilities, and very nice local area. Lovely setting and easy to get into Oslo by bus (35 mins, bus 500 or 505), Drobak and further south. Informative and helpful comms with Aslak the host, and so would definitely recommend.

Incredibly cozy place. Clean and tidy. Great outdoor area and fun for the kids with an outdoor shower! All amenities required. Made our stay 10/10. Recommended!

We felt right at home at the place! The view is great and so is the accessibility. For our 3 tall men, it was sometimes a bit tight. If that is not a negative criticism, we can take all the powerlifter a little more space:). We were a very nice time ! I think I'll be back

There is something completely unique about being in the natural surroundings, which you can still experience in a luxurious way here. The bed was SO good to lie in and it was so nice to have a night with fresh air, we did not need any extra heat. Waking up to the fact that it started raining a little in the morning, made it all just that much more cozy.

Great apartment in Sætre. Perfect to rent as we were in confirmation in Sætre. Very clean and nice but all facilities. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect for the 5 of us who were there.

What a great stay! The hosts were not only professional but accommodating in the kindest way. Best stay on Airbnb yet.
