No crowds of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Located directly on the water, there is every opportunity to rent boats, canoes, bicycles or a sup. The farm is located on the Zuiderzeepad and many bicycle junctions. The spacious apartment has 2 separate bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Optionally, a third bedroom/studio can be booked separately, only in combination with the apartment. There is also a sandy beach on the Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

You can enjoy cycling and walking in the neighborhood, and the Frisian lake area is a 20-minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers numerous cozy terraces and bars.

Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

This houseboat is located in the old part of Heerenveen, formerly one of the important peat routes through Friesland. You overlook the Herenwal, the street of Heerenveen with the most beautiful canal houses that leads to the city center. At the end of this canal is the basin, which you can recognize by the large pancake ship that is atmospherically lit in the evening. Here you will also find the post house theater and the cozy street full of restaurants!
