Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rots

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

Week end en famille chez Annabelle, nous avons pu visiter les musées, batteries et belles plages du débarquement. Bien situé à proximité de Sword, Juno et Gold beach. Logement très fonctionnel et charmant, nous y avons passé un très bon moment. À refaire !

house is really beautiful and in a perfect location. we enjoyed our stay. Despite language issues ( as I dont speak french) we were able to communicate with googl translate and she made us feel inclusive

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos quelques jours en famille dans la maison de Lise et Olivier, avec qui la communication a été parfaite. La maison est spacieuse et confortable, très bien équipée et rénovée avec goût. L'environnement est calme tout en étant proche de Caen. Le jardin et la terrasse sont très agréable, et parfait avec des enfants. Notre fils a adoré les poules, le chat et le bac à sable à disposition. Nous recommandons vivement !

Great stay! We have enjoyed a lot the garden and the beach 2 min away from the house. Very calm neighborhood. We recommend!

très belle maison très bien équipée

Je recommande à 100% ce logement. Céline notre hôte était réactive et très amicale. Toutes les instructions étaient claires et le logement conforme aux photos et à nos attentes. Très bien situé et très bien équipé, nous étions avec des enfants en bas âges, nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait. Merci beaucoup pour cette parenthèse normande dans ce très joli cadre.

3eme fois dans ce lieu et par n'importe quel temps et n'importe quelle période de l'année, le charme opere toujours.nous nous y sentons tout simplement bien tant cest paisible.Le gite est super bien équipé et les enfants adorent les jeux, le jardin, Fernand l'âne etc... Bref nous espérons simplement revenir une 4eme fois :-)

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

L'hacienda est vraiment bien décoré, spacieux, identique aux photos. l'appartement est propre et la cuisine est très bien équipée. Le patio est un grand +++++. L'appartement est très bien situé, à proximité des restaurants et DE LA MER. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Magda est une personne très agréable, réactive. It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Il n’est pas facile de trouver un logement pour une réunion de famille ou amis. Ici tout y est. Nombre de chambres et lits, équipements de loisirs pour les petits et les grands, vaisselle sièges eux tout en nombre pour un grand groupe. C’est propre. Ma jardin est joli , comme la maison. Wir haben zu 6 (+Kleinkind und Hund) Weihnachten und Neujahr bei Marianne verbracht! Es ist ein schönes,gemütliches und modernes Haus mit Meerblick! Jedes Paar hat seinen eigenen Bereich inkl. Badezimmer. Der vollumzäunte Garten war super für unseren Hund und der Kamin hat die richtige Stimmung gebracht! Der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen! Mit dem Auto ist man schnell bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ist relativ schnell an allen typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!

Super séjour maison parfaite environnement idéal et hôte très accueillant

Maison superbe avec vue tout aussi superbe. Les 4 chambres de la maison principale sont très bien décorées avec une literie confortable et chacune dotée d’une salle de bains. La 5 e chambre est dans un bâtiment mitoyen indépendant, ce qui n’était pas précisé dans l’annonce ni en accord avec les photos . La cuisine le lave vaisselle le salon etc ne sont pas vraiment dimensionnés pour accueillir jusque 10 personnes. Le jardin est très beau avec un accès direct à la plage Très bon séjour ! Nous recommandons vivement !

Wir haben das Haus so vorgefunden, wie wir es vorgestellt wurde und wie wir es erwartet haben. Der Hausteil ist gut und sympathisch eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der Wintergarten. Hier hätte ich allerdings im Hochsommer bedenken, da eine Abschattung des Glasdaches nicht möglich war. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

La villa correspond parfaitement à la description faite sur le site. Idem pour les équipements présents. Tout été impeccable et nous avons passé un très bon séjour Michael a également été disponible et de bon conseil en amont quand nous en avions eu besoin
