Beautiful and spacious house. The photographs do not do justice to the size and space of the house. Large rooms, lots of sleeping options. Nice outdoor spaces. Quiet and peaceful location. Very handy for supermarket and train. Excellent host - very responsive and helpful.

We felt very comfortable at the place. Everything was clean and well maintained, the kitchen well equipped – ideal if you want to cook or bake yourself. The location is quiet, with a beautiful view, and hiking trails start right outside the door. The contact with the hostess was friendly and straightforward.

Wonderful house in peace and beautiful nature. Everybody comes to sit in their own corner and then we just lost each other. Being Anna and Max very welcoming and sweet. This will make you feel immediately welcome and at home. Lovely pampering will complete it all.

We felt completely comfortable in Uta's cottage! Communication with Uta was great. The accommodation is super quiet on the edge of the village - perfect for really switching off. Inside, everything you need is there: a small, well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a comfortable bed, a cozy sofa with TV - everything to make you feel at home. Beautiful walking paths start right outside the door. Our highlight was the completely fenced (dog-proof!) garden. There, our furry friend could run around freely, play or doze in the grass. Everything was there for the dog (dog blanket for the sofa, food/water bar, garden hose and towels). From the terrace, you have a great view of the greenery - ideal for letting your thoughts wander or enjoying the sunset. In short: For us, the perfect accommodation to unwind and simply let your mind wander - far away from the hustle and bustle, neighbours and everyday stress.

Everything is great and as described. A nice apartment with good connections and a nice host.

Marie-Louise is an incredibly friendly person with an idyllically located house (bison in front of the window included). The kitchen is well equipped, we have rarely experienced this. It is beautifully quiet and also our daughter loved the surroundings, which invites you to hike. Children's equipment such as high chair and bed are also available. The nearby playground should also be mentioned. Bad Münstereifel is about 10 minutes by car, where you can find shops for shopping or restaurant. There is also a small garden or courtyard. We will be happy to come back.

This was an amazing place to stay. You feel at home with the first step that you take into this cute house. It is cozy, comfortable, and is stocked with anything you need for the first day you arrive. The Kitchen is equiped with all the necessary things, ready for a chef to cook for family or friends. Top rating from all of us 4 occupants👍. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We stayed with 5 people for a long weekend in Pia's Wiesencharlet and. It was just great!

There were five of us in the mill and we really liked it! Nicole and Alfred are very warm and gave us good recommendations for exploring the area. Great view from the balcony directly into the forest. The street behind the house can be heard but is not very busy and therefore not a problem. The apartment is very cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We totally enjoyed it - thank you for the wonderful time! :)

The Stranzenburg is a super cool and extraordinary location. In addition to the flair of the 15th-18th century, a neighbouring property with a bathing pond, charcoal grill, etc. is also available. We were here with a group of friends and were able to spend an exciting weekend; our crime thriller dinner planned for the holiday also found the perfect location as a setting here! Ursula was always very easy to reach as a landlady and is also a great contact person. The cake that was baked and ready for the handover of the AirBnB by Ursula was also super delicious. We can therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone who is looking for something unusual and wants to experience a special flair of the accommodation :-)

Markus and Carina were great hosts. The accommodation is as described with a beautiful garden. The accommodation is quietly located in a beautiful area and yet you can quickly get to Cologne. We felt very comfortable.

Markus is a great host and is highly recommended if you ever stay around Düsseldorf. The location is perfect for nature lovers and yet close to the City Center, airport and convention Center. Recommended without any hesitation.

The apartment is really very high quality, the kitchen is super nice and modern. The building from the outside and the corridors to the room are less beautiful, but the accommodation can't help it. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed during our stay, which was a pity for us, as this was already a decisive aspect, which is why we were also willing to pay a little more. Overall, however, we had a great time and the apartment itself is, as I said, absolutely great and recommended.

There were two of us there for our annual "Friends – Treff". The place was ideally suited for this, we were able to relax well and talk. The sauna was great and Dominik easy to reach, friendly and helpful. I also think the generous check-in/check-out times are great, so you could still make good use of the arrival and departure day.

Christian and his wife were excellent hosts and ever so friendly and accommodating towards our needs (we had a disabled person amongst the guests). Communication was great - he even allowed us to view the flat before booking. Would highly recommend.

Recently, we stayed in this extremely welcoming apartment for the 2nd time. Our dog was of course also there again, and was as welcome as we were. There are a few small changes: colorful pictures on the walls, a new piece of furniture. The modern and "cool" style of the apartment is only supported. Fortunately, there's no change with the hosts. Very friendly and very affectionate young people who make your stay very pleasant from an interpersonal point of view. Many thanks to the family.

We had a great stay at Victoria's place. The apartment was easy to find, clean and not far from the city centre. Victoria was a very responsive host. We would stay here again if ever in Cologne.

We had a great stay at Kathi's! She was super helpful and responded directly to questions/comments. The heating did not always run at night (as it was in summer mode), but since it was cooler in the room, she adjusted the system so that we could always heat. In addition, the garden is wonderful and my little son has enjoyed playing outside. We would always book the place again!

Our recent four-week stay in Hoffnungsthal during the Euro 2024 football tournament proved to be an exceptional experience. The property is ideally located within easy reach of Cologne by train. With trains departing twice hourly, the journey to the city center takes approximately 25 minutes. This made it highly convenient for attending matches and exploring. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always prompt in responding to our queries and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The property is well-located in proximity to a local bar and supermarkets, catering to our everyday needs. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable base for our extended stay. Overall, our stay in Hoffnungsthal was outstanding. The hosts' hospitality, the convenient location, it was an ideal choice for our Euro 2024 experience. We would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking well-equipped base.

The cottage is cozy and thanks to the two bicycles, we were also very quickly in the city center of Cologne. Marcus is a very nice and accommodating host. It was a pleasure to spend a few days at Anna's house. Ideal for spending a few days in Cologne, away from the centre, in a very quiet residential area, but well connected. Equipped with everything you need, clean and very well decorated. Anna is a great host and was attentive to my inquiries at all times.
