The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. We are still in awe! The place! The atmosphere there! The hosts! We would like to especially thank Gino & Teresa for being sooo welcoming and helpful and helping us have the real authentic Abruzzo experience! They gave us everything we needed for the baby. The place was totally private and only for us, could enjoy being by the pool and enjoy the view to the max. The house is also absolutely beautiful! So simplistic yet well equipped and spotlessly clean! Only felt that a console table of some sort was a bit missing from the entry (to put our keys and small bags and stuff), and also a small table by the pool would have been really handy 😄 Otherwise, really, everything was spot on perfect! It’s like a dream being there! And the outside kitchen area with real stone sink and barbecue area… fantastic! And ohh the donkeys! Our baby loved watching them ☺️ Definitely recommend the place & the hosts! Loved it!

Loredana's house is quiet without car traffic in the small town of Spoltore, below a small square and with a great terrace. View of the mountains. The town centre can be reached in a few minutes with a bar, pizzeria and bakery and also a nice supermarket. The place is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. Very pleasant with furniture for the old house, but with all modern necessities such as a good gas stove, large TV and quiet air conditioning. Loredana welcomed us personally and helped us a lot, especially in finding a doctor. Free parking above the house with a few stairs is easy. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the place and the house for 14 days.

Very nice property located in a quiet, spacious area that can accommodate a large group of friends or family. Very clean and close to all amenities. A car is necessary to be able to get around. We really enjoyed our stay at Raffaella's.

We had an absolutely amazing stay with Kristy and James. They were very welcoming and friendly, had a lot of great suggestions for what to see and do in the area as well as were extremely helpful and flexible. The house was beautiful with a view as seen in the pictures, i.e. in the countryside but quite close to the cozy little town of Mogliano. The swimming pool was a big plus for our kids who used it almost every day. The apartment was, as the photos show, cozy and authentic, and with a well-equipped kitchen. A plus for our family was also their lovely and very child-friendly dog, Bandit. We hope to come back another time and can only recommend a stay with Kristy and James.

Really lovely hosts made to feel like family. Stunning view and lovely pool. Only downside was the walls are quite thin so you get a lot of noise from the flat next door.

Beautifully restored old farmhouse with excellent amenities. Great swimming pool set in attractively-lit landscaped garden. Ombretta responded very quickly to all messages and was very friendly, as was Luciano (the caretaker). The mountains provided both a beautiful setting and some great hiking trails a short distance from the house.

I was brought to tears when i sat at the family table of Alessio with his family - these were tears of emotion + joy of how a family is holding together their traditional values, simple living, growing their food, cooking delicious meals + family life. A life where tending the home, garden, working hard but coming together is most important. If you are looking for a reciprocal authentic respectful experience in this area look no further. Alessio, Mary, Ivana + Gino are beautiful people who will accommodate you in their home with every respect.

We had a wonderful stay in Mr. Giancarlo's apartment, a real corner of paradise immersed in the rolling Teramo hills. From our arrival we were greeted with great cordiality and availability, and we immediately felt at home. The real protagonist of this experience was undoubtedly the absolute peace that you can breathe in this place: the silence is interrupted only by the sounds of nature, and every morning we woke up with the singing of the birds and a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills. It is the perfect place for those looking for relaxation, away from the chaos of the city. The apartment is well cared for in every detail, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is also ideal for exploring the surroundings, among characteristic villages, nature trails and proximity to the Adriatic Sea. We stayed at the “Il Selvaggio” apartment for the entire month of August and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment, inside a renovated villa in an enchanting and very evocative setting, is equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The house is beautiful, very clean, quiet and with a terrace and a magnificent view. Appliances, mattresses, pillows, bathroom, and furniture are chosen with great taste and functionality. The location also allows you to visit both the south of the Marche and the north of Abruzzo with ease. Supermarkets, ice cream parlors, restaurants are easily accessible. Teresa, her husband and children were very kind: they were very discreet people, but at the same time attentive to our needs and gave us a lot of useful advice. The garden produce was superb: tomatoes and salad with unique flavors. We hope to be able to return in the fall/winter!

One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

The apartment looked completely fresh. Renovated. Everything that was needed was there. The air conditioning was important, which was extremely pleasant in the heat. Everything looked almost new and super clean. Recommended for four people, not far from the beach and the beach promenade with restaurants. The nearby train station does not bother either. Overall highly recommended.

We enjoyed walking around the historic center and shopping in local shops. Beautiful views from the apartment with a fantastic balcony for breakfast and a glass of wine.
