Rosso Matonne offers views of the countryside that feel like something out of a painting. From the moment we arrived, Barbara made us feel at home —offering local tips and warm smiles that never felt forced. The Apartment and grounds are immaculate. Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, and close to Sulmona. And then there’s Ellie — the adorable, friendly family pup who quickly became the highlight of our trip. Always happy for a cuddle or to join us for a stroll, she added a comforting, homey touch that made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of Italy with some truly wonderful company. 🌞🇮🇹🐾 5/5 stars – We can't wait to return!

Ottimo appartamento situato vicino al lungomare di Pescara. L'alloggio è pulito e la comunicazione con Giordano è stata eccellente. Consigliato

La posizione è centralissima. Le stanze pulite ed in ordine. Le rifiniture curate. L'host reattivo e disponibile, sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi domanda.

Great place rooms are nice and big, excellent location, truly authentic Italian style. Pescara is our favourite place to visit, highly recommended this Apartment. Very helpful host and all the facilities you need.

This was a magical experience. I cannot imagine a kinder and more helpful host than Kevin, and I can’t imagine a more magical location. Great advice on things to do in the area and incredibly helpful in terms of getting us oriented and “plugged in” in Capestrano.

We went to a wedding in a castle near by and had a wonderful stay in the condo. We loved the location and view of the sea!! Thank you all so much!!

Sehr zentrales und sehr sauberes Apartment. Alles hat super geklappt - einfacher Check in und einfache Kommunikation.

We had a brief stay at Piera and Nico's beautiful beach house, and we wish it had been longer! The home itself was lovely, clean, had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. It was a very private location, very large yard and patio space, and exceptional views of the sea. We accessed the "secret" tunnel many times to get to the beach, and it was a favorite with my little boys. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, and used the charcoal grill. Both Piera and Nico were very responsive if we had any questions or if anything came up. Great hosts! The surrounding villages were full of character, and were less than 45 minute drive. Some were even as close as 15 to 20 minutes away. So much local charm, beautiful vistas, delicious cappuccinos, and incredible history. We never swam in the ocean, because it was too cold, but we did hang out at the beach. A lot of places were closed down by the beach, but others were open in town. Highly recommend this place!

Maria Teresa et son fils ont été d'excellents conseils pour la restauration, comme pour les visites à faire de villages (mais il y a aussi pleins de musées aussi à visiter), les randonnées sublimes à faire dans cette région...bref d'excellents conseils. Malheureusement sur une semaine nous n'avons pas pu tout visiter mais nous en avons pris plein les yeux déjà :) il nous aurait fallu plus d'une semaine sur place. L'accueil, tout comme notre départ auront été très chaleureux avec Maria Teresa que nous remercions bien fort pour nous avoir permis de découvrir cette région magnifique ! La maison est isolée et la nuit il règne un calme magistral, cette maison est idéale pour se ressourcer et faire le plein de détente. La maison est conforme aux photos du site, le champs d'oliviers est sublime. Pas de pollution lumineuse la nuit non plus, un vrai bonheur. Bref, que de belles images imprimées dans nos rétines. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Encore merci et peut être à une prochaine :)

La signora Graziella ha saputo subito conquistarci con modi gentili ed amichevoli, nostro figlio di 15 mesi si è subito sentito a casa. Ambiente semplice, pulito e tranquillo. Consigliatissimo!!

We had a great stay at Robert and Joanna's guest house. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. They even provided some treats from their own garden. The accommodation is exactly as advertised and the view is possibly even better. We enjoyed the serenity and the beautiful scenery. Perfect to discover Monti Sibillini and go for a hike. You will also find several cosy villages nearby, like Penna San Giovanni and Sarnano. We would definitely come again!

Parfait! Petit appartement au rdv d’une maison calme . Bien situé, propre et bien équipé. Alessandro est réactif et très gentil. Je recommande ce logement.

Nous avons passé sept semaines dans la maison loft de Franco. Tout était parfait ! L’endroit est extrêmement calme et la vue est à couper le souffle. Franco est un hôte discret mais extrêmement disponible et réactif. La communication a été excellente avant notre arrivée et durant tout le séjour. Montesilvano Colle est un très joli village et c’est le point de départ de nombreuses balades plus merveilleuses les unes que les autres. Une chose est sûre : s’il nous est possible de revenir dans ce logement, nous n’hésiterons pas une seconde !

Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. It has helped us realize what we truly love and want. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed their time 🫶

Ottima struttura, pulitissima, accogliente, in una zona tranquilla e vicina al centro di Chieti. Il proprietario è una persona squisita e disponibilissima. Consiglio vivamente la struttura!

L'alloggio ha corrisposto alle nostre aspettative, è fedele alla descrizione, curato nei suoi particolari e Patrizia è davvero molto attenta, disponibile e presente per venire incontro alle esigenze degli ospiti e risolvere piccoli problemi che possono verificarsi (come una ruota forata). L'appartamento è bene equipaggiato e quindi già perfetto, anche per il soggiorno estivo. Inoltre ci sono a disposizione le biciclette, utilissime, in una settimana non abbiamo mai spostato l'auto: il centro di sbt e il lungomare si raggiungono in pochi minuti con le bici. Ci è piaciuto davvero tutto, il suprlus lo fa poi sicuramente Patrizia, presente, gentile ma non invadente. Davvero tanti tanti tantissimi complimenti! E' raro trovare una host così attenta e un appartamento così ben tenuto ed equipaggiato! Se ne avremo la possibilità torneremo senz'altro! grazie

Perfect stay! Marco's place is roomy, comfortable, and well-appointed. This was our first visit to Tocco da Casauria; the town is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm- it feels straight out of a storybook. It was very easy to navigate around and the locals are extremely friendly; we tried out some of the suggested restaurants and shopping and loved all of it. The private balcony was definitely our favorite thing about the flat- we could have easily spent another week or two taking in that view. Thank you so much, Marco, for a wonderful trip and stay- we can't wait to return!

Antonio e Simona sono host fantastici! Premurosi e attenti ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato bevande fresche nel frigo, una casa davvero bella, completa di ogni confort e dagli spazi ampi e pulitissimi. Letti molto comodi, scelta di cuscini tra differenti tipologie, detersivi per l’igiene personale e della casa. Bellissimo il terrazzo che gira intorno alla struttura e garantisce una casa fresca anche senza l’utilizzo del condizionatore, comunque presente e funzionante nell’alloggio. La comodità del posto auto sul lungomare e l’attrezzatura da spiaggia che gli host mettono a disposizione, rappresentano un ulteriore graditissimo plus. Una menzione d’onore va alla disponibilità, alla gentilezza, all’accoglienza di Antonio, Simona e delle loro splendide figlie: abbiamo passato due settimane nella loro casa e siamo stati trattati come amici di vecchia data, non come ospiti. Li porteremo sempre nel cuore. Consigliamo davvero la loro casa. Noi torneremo di certo

Siamo stati da Pierino per una settimana. L'appartamento è piccolino ma dispone di tutti i comfort. Il signor Rino, che ci ha accolto, è una persona eccezionale. Hanno viaggiato con noi anche i nostri due cani, che sono stati gentilmente accolti dai proprietari. Molto comodo l'ampio parcheggio privato a pochi passi dall'abitazione. Torneremo sicuramente!

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt in Paolas Wohnung. Die Lage ist überragend - man braucht gerade mal 5 Minuten an den Strand. Die Wohnung selbst ist genau wie auf den Bildern. Man hat alles was man braucht und die Kommunikation mit Paola ist super. Da die Durchgangsstraße nahe der Wohnung liegt, ist es auf der Terrasse etwas laut manchmal. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört, da abends wenig Verkehr ist und man so nah am Strand ist, dass man sich die meiste Zeit dort aufhält. Für unseren Hund war die Wohnung auch ganz toll, da beide Gärten eingezäunt sind. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

Marco si è dimostrato fin da subito disponibile a ogni nostra richiesta, la sua ospitalità ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. L’appartamento, in un’ottima posizione, ci ha permesso di muoverci totalmente a piedi. Abbiamo soggiornato in 5 persone e questo non è stato per niente un problema, l’appartamento è molto comodo e confortevole, davvero pulito e arredato con gusto. Sicuramente ritorneremo!!!!

Die Gastgeber konnten uns spontan aufnehmen, als wir das Apartement wechseln mussten. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützen uns mit vielen Tipps für Unternehmungen. Das Haus ist wirklich schön, ca. 10 min von Chieti alto und 15 min von Francavilla entfernt. So hat man Berge und Strand. Eine gute Mischung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
