We felt very comfortable with Sandra, the room is cozy and equipped with everything, the location and the view from the window are gigantic and Sandra and her family welcomed us very warmly on their beautiful farm. Highlighted is the delicious breakfast made of lots of local ingredients, mostly even from your own farm, which was really special! And not to forget dog Chica, who greets everyone joyfully. This time we were only passing through for 2 nights, next time we will definitely come with more time!

This is our second time staying here. Quiet, love the restaurant under the trees, get the chicken! And it’s cash only for the food there. Bed was comfy, shared bathroom but was not a problem. It’s a bit of a walk from train station, about 10 min up hill. Not too bad but be aware if you have a lot of luggage or are older.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Erika and the Kehril family’s charming Swiss-style home and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. The house was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made a real difference—like the bedroom slippers, hot-water bag, and even 3-ply toilet paper! Every detail was carefully considered, and it showed. The fully equipped kitchen was a highlight for us. After weeks on the road, being able to prepare a home-cooked meal using the provided utensils and oven was a real treat. And the view—simply stunning. Waking up to the majestic mountains and enjoying our coffee with that breathtaking backdrop was unforgettable. Thank you, Erika and family, for your exceptional hospitality. Elisabeth was a very friendly host and offered to help with anything we needed although everything was great and we didn’t need anything. After greeting us, she gave us all the space we needed to enjoy the property and the beautiful surroundings. We would highly recommend Elisabeth’s place as a base for visiting the Berner Oberland and the Jungfrau region.
