BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Not far from Lake Ratzeburger in a village location, surrounded by fields and nearby forest, the apartment (90 m²) with private entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. The bright rooms are inviting, south terrace (60 m²) with table, chairs and loungers as well as a small garden complete the offer. Bed dimensions (cm) 180 x 200 and 160 x 200. From here you can explore the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles are available (see photos). Additional information: Washer/dryer by arrangement for € 5 each

Our small, old construction trailer offers simple and cozy accommodation for anyone looking for an overnight stay on a bike tour between Ratzeburg, Schaalsee and Schwerin or wanting to escape the luxurious and fast-paced life of the city for a while. When was the last time you watched the swallow children during their flying lessons or listened to the humming of the bumble bees in the grass? You can enjoy the picturesque sunset spectacle with us in the front row. Live simply - makes you happy!

Right by the lake, with a view of the water from your own roof terrace – the Alte Kapitänshaus is your perfect base camp. Stylish accommodation for up to 4 guests with a cosy bedroom (160 cm bed), a sofa bed in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a stylish bathroom. Warm light and loving details create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Coffee on the roof terrace in the morning, enjoying the lake view with the sunset in the evening – nature, peace and charm all in one.

THE BETTERHEIM - sustainable holidays and environmentally friendly vacation! In the thatched brick house from 1840 there are 4 apartments that are renovated in an energy-efficient construction and equipped with ecologically valuable interiors. We want to make our dream of sustainable country life a reality for design-savvy families. A small insight into a plastic-reduced everyday life. The furniture & accessories with which the apartments are equipped can also be ordered for home.

Trafoturm Rieps

Finally, the time has come...after almost four years of planning and renovation, we can welcome the first guests to our tower from March 2025. On eleven square meters, we have created a tiny vacation home from an old transformer tower. The tower is small but nice and has many high-quality details. If you lie on the sofa bed, you can fall asleep overlooking the starry sky. The bathroom can be reached via the external staircase. Further description and pictures will follow

Enjoy a rural holiday with the whole family, friends or for a hen party in our holiday home "Große Bauerndiele". In the garden under the apple trees you can relax or sit comfortably together, barbecue available! A sandbox or ping pong table is available for the kids. In summer, a canoe trip on the nearby Ratzeburger See or a shopping trip to Lübeck is recommended! Wedding celebrations are possible on the farm! The house has a full basement.

Tiny house on the water

Here you are nestled in nature. In the morning you will be awakened by birdsong and look into the greenery. You can not only observe many wild animals, but also the horses as they move peacefully into the paddocks. The tiny house is lovingly furnished and about 200 m from the house. ** In the event of frost temperatures, we have to turn off the running water. However, water dispensers with tap water are then available.
