This was our first time in the Outer Banks and we loved this cottage for our family of five. It was convenient, clean, had a great kitchen, very cute, wonderful views of the beach and ocean, and the deck had a walkway over the dunes right to the beach. The location was close to grocery stores and other amenities. Diane provided beach chairs and an umbrella and the deck had a shower to clean up before going back in. All of this made our stay here easy, relaxing, and fun. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We just got back today. This home is absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. Sit on the couch, at the dining table, wake up in bed, wash dishes….wherever you are in this home, you will have an ocean view!!!!!!! Richard was very responsive and attentive. We travel down to OBX 2x a year and this will definitely be the place we stay! Rodanthe has that small town feel and just perfect for those that do not want to be around the crowds. Step right off the deck and onto the sand. Walk the beach and enjoy the sounds and views. Sunrise, sunsets? You get both in this home from every room! We loved our stay and will be back this fall!

We really enjoyed staying here. the home is exactly as shown and eacribed, but more beautiful and enchanting. we go there late, and walking into the yard was majestic. it almost felt like a fairy creature would pop its head out of the tree. the outdoor private area is simply amazing.

Ryan and Alli's vacation rental was everything we could have asked for! They were very friendly and extremely fast with their communication. We loved the deck space outside and enjoyed all the light that came in. The location is walking distance from the beach, or you can drive over to the Salvo Day Use Area or Watermen's Bar & Grill for beautiful sunset views on the sound. We also loved the acai place and Waves Deli right down the street. There is a fenced-in back yard which made it really nice for our dog. We cooked several times and had everything we needed in the kitchen. One thing to keep in mind is that this is on the third floor so you need to be prepared to take the stairs a lot. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but it seemed really nice.

Lovely & clean Airbnb — great location and within walking distance to the beach, to Lost Colony museum/gift-shop, Fatty’s restaurant & easy drive to Conner’s Supermarket and restaurants. Host is very responsive. Enjoyed sundeck & views & also playing foosball in common area on 2nd floor. We love laid back, relaxing Buxton, N.C. Highly recommend!

The seaside bungalow was a great getaway. Cute cottage was very clean, comfortable and stocked. It had beautiful gardens and was in a great location, convenient to beach, activities and restaurants. Met the owner who was very nice. Would definitely stay again.
