Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rockport

Gretchen’s house is a charming, two-story one on a very nice and quiet little street. The furnishings are pretty and tasteful, and there is comfortable living room furniture, as well an excellent beds and pillows. Our favorite thing was its location, within very easy walking distance from a gorgeous park and beach. Downtown was also reachable via a short walk. We did some of our own cooking and found everything we needed. Gretchen was an especially nice and responsive hostess. If we were lucky enough to get to Rockport again, I would want to stay there.

My son was graduating from Landmark High School. He is a boarding student so we needed a place close by. There was room for his extended family. The kids loved the games and activities.

I can’t thank you enough for letting me stay in this beautiful location. I’ve been going through chemo treatment and trying to find beautiful places in between treatment to enjoy. This place was a fav. Which I sort of want to keep to myself. I didn’t have a lot of energy to do a lot but it was exactly what I needed. Parked my car and left it behind. Watched the tide, walked around a beautiful place with my dog. I couldn’t ask for more.

Very comfortable place for my family to spend a long weekend! Excellent space, very clean and private and well furnished. We enjoyed making and sharing meals, relaxing in the common areas, and walking to the beach and into town. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful place just a one minute ride to the Rockport Golf Club where my daughter was getting married. We had plenty of room for all six of us. A nice big kitchen with a very large center island so we could share many meals and prepare food and platters for the wedding. The living room has a lovely gas fireplace and we had many cozy evenings there as we destressed from all the wedding festivities. We spent quite a lot of time outdoors, walking down to the ocean and sitting on the deck, watching the stars. October is a lovely time to visit Rockport. Less traffic, pretty autumn colors, no big crowds at restaurants so short wait for tables. If we needed to come back for another event, I would choose this home again. *for those with back issues- all of the beds were cozy but not supportive and very soft.

Wonderful stay. Wide open spaces downstairs and great bedrooms upstairs. Super clean with lots of amenities. Judy was super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this space if you are staying anywhere near Rockport. Do not hesitate with this wonderful home and host. We would 100% stay again.

Beautiful spacious home, tucked away by in quiet cove. The home was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the host was very easy and pleasant.

The house is in a quiet and beautiful location. My family had everything we needed and especially enjoyed the many outdoor spaces around the house. The beds were comfy. Everything is high quality and impeccably clean. Kevin is super responsive. It's a short walk to the water and there is a footpath once there with an incredible view. A 2 minute drive to Rockport shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay, and hosts were very friendly and responsive. One note.. not related to the unit or the hosts but to navigation to the unit ... our GPS had us drive right past it and then drive around the block and attempt to pull in from behind which is impossible. So if you choose to stay here, and you should :-) , be aware..

The Gilbert was exactly what we wanted and needed. We were attending a wedding at The Beauport and we were perfectly placed. A quick 4-5 minute walk. Jamie and Joe were wonderful hosts. They prepare you with thoroughly instructions on where to park, check in instructions, and any other bits of helpful information you might need. Communication was great! The Gilbert is placed in a central location making exploring on foot an easy option. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rebook if we come to Gloucester again.

The reserved parking place at the church really made a difference. It was nice being able to walk to the Beauport Hotel and downtown waterfront Gloucester.

Only positive comments, everything was perfect. Location was superb as well as living accommodations.

Our cousins get-away weekend was amazing due in part to the wonderful accommodations. Great location, so close to shops and restaurants. Incredible views, very clean and stocked with everything you could ever need. Would love to return and hope for better weather to enjoy the deck!

Very nice place, reasonable price and very close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Amanda was great to communicate with. We were able to check in early. We did have an issue with the keypad once, reached out to Amanda and it was resolved quickly. Amanda was great with communication before we even checked in. I was a little concerns because I’ve never used an Airbnb before. Wasn’t sure how it worked as far as extra towels and necessities and Amanda was great, she told me that there would be enough and if not, she would Provide more. We would definitely like to stay there again. I think the only thing that I would suggestion is curtains on the windows. There are blinds on the windows but being that close to the main strip it’s very bright and it always looks like it is daytime in the apartment when it is nighttime. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to book again.

We had a great stay! The space was nice, clean, and very quiet. Parking was convenient, and the location was fantastic— since it was just a short drive the Crane Estate (where we attended a wedding). Communication with the host was great—we received quick and helpful responses. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept place in a great area!

Located in a lovely neighborhood, this place is a gem! So well appointed, there was nothing we could have needed that wasn’t there! The decor was beautiful and Kelly provided so many extra touches. The kitchen was well equipped, including spices, Keurig Cup Pods, tons of dishes, and utensils. The bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable beds. We can’t wait to come back!!!

What more can I say that hasn't already been said by other guests? The place was perfect for our 35th anniversary get-a-way. Darryl was so on top of things. We had a question and it was answered within 2 minutes. He really is a SUPER HOST.

This was the second time we had stayed at Kristin’s. We loved it so much last year we had to come back! Nothing beats the view from the rooftop deck. Everything you need, to include ample public water access, is just a short walk. We plan on making this a yearly stay. The fact you can bring your pup is an added bonus!

Lovely trip back to Marblehead for my granddaughter’s graduation. This home was comfortable and great care taken to provide more than the basics making it welcoming and like home!

Diane was amazing to work with and very helpful and responsive! The condo was beautiful, clean, cutely decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location with so much to do within walking distance. Highly recommend. We are already looking to go back next year for our yearly Hampton Beach getaway.

Very comfortable place with deck where our dogs could be outside with us while we enjoyed the weather and a glass of wine. Kitchen well-equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. The nespresso machine was wonderful. Also, Starbucks was just a short walk. The in-unit laundry was very convenient. The college was also a short walk where our pups could enjoy some green space. There is a park by the beach which is also a short walk, it was a little harder to get there because one must cross a busy street but, well worth it, once you got there. Downtown was a bit of a hike but, again well worth it once you were there and you did not have to worry about parking. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this condo.
