“Agreed that the photos do not do this place justice! This place is a lovely spot for anyone traveling to Rocheport. We stayed here for 2 full weeks and Amanda was such a thoughtful host. She gave us local tips on getting food and activities and was very attentive. For anyone who is traveling with a toddler and isn't sure about the right spot to book I highly recommend this place. The bear in the living room was such a fun thing to talk about. The game room was a great space for playing as was the 3rd bedroom which has a small table and an antique play stove. The front porch was an additionally play space especially when it was raining outside. We blocked the stairs with a few chairs. Our little one loved staying here and asks about going back every day since we left!”
Charming new 1930's style retro cottage with 2 bedrooms with king and queen beds-and a den with queen and full sleeper sofas. Open floor plan all hickory hardwood floors, gas burning fireplace, gourmet kitchen.
“The “cottage” easily accommodates a family or group of friends meeting for the weekend. Every amenity imaginable is offered in the kitchen making cozy nights in by the fire just perfect. Our group enjoyed the comfortable beds, the lovely screened in porch and the bikes available for the trail. Would definitely rent here again!”
This large, cozy, and clean suite with private entry is ready for your next visit to (or extended stay in) Columbia. The suite includes a private bedroom and bathroom, as well as living and game room areas dedicated for guest use. Our house is conveniently located right off of Interstate 70. It is a less than ten minute drive to downtown and the University of Missouri and five minutes to Cosmo Park and Bear Creek Trail. It's also very close to the mall and many dining and shopping options.
“Before we arrived, I always got quick responses to my questions. Clear directions were given: from where to park, how to find the entrance and how to get in. There was even a lamp on, which seemed to welcome us. This place is nice and clean. It is a basement, so you do hear muffled talking and footsteps overhead, which did not bother us at all. There was a fan in the bedroom closet, which I turned on to drown out all sounds for sleeping, but I do that at home too. There are heaters in the living area and the bedroom, which is great, as basements tend to be on the cool side. There is a Keurig with both coffee and a variety of tea available, as well as sweeteners and creamer. The couch is comfortable and so it the bed. We both slept quite well. We would recommend this place and if we are travelling through again, we'd be happy to stay again.”
