We had a lovely stay. House was as described, clean and had all the things we needed. Would recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing little cottage set on a working farm. The views across the fields were absolutely stunning—truly a breath of fresh air. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect. Mary and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a later checkout, which was such a kind gesture (though we sadly had to decline as we were eager to get home to see our son). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a peaceful day. And the complimentary bottle of wine, A lovely touch—it went down very well! The nearby village of East Harling is just a 30-minute walk away and has everything you need for a quiet retreat—whether it’s grabbing some basic groceries or enjoying a drink at one of the friendly local pubs. It’s great not having to rely on the car at all. We would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll definitely be back.

A fabulous, well equipped home with a great view and visiting wildlife - pheasants, hares and swallows. Easy walking distance to Suffolk Barn for our family wedding and short drive to Bury St Edmunds. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and calming colour scheme. Extremely well equipped kitchen and generous welcome provisions made it easy to feel straight at home. We would love to come back to explore the local area and spend more time taking in the view and relaxing in the tub. Thank you to our hosts who were so accommodating and welcoming.

Rowland's place is a beautiful charming cottage right on the coast of West Mersea. The setting is stunning and he is an amazing friendly and communicative host. The location is right next to a pub which serves great food and lovely atmosphere. Other local amenities are also a short walk away. We (2 adults and two kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Booked for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday! An unbelievable place to stay with such wonderful hosts, incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had. The outdoor bath/hot tub with the view is such an amazing addition. Everything is perfect about this place, would recommend to anyone and everyone and will definitely be back to stay here again!

What a beautiful little cottage, it was close to town easy to walk everywhere locally. Lots of space for 3 of us a lovely box of biscuits left by host which was a lovely surprise. Chloe was very responsive if we messaged her, a great host.

Lovely accommodation. Very rustic and would suit most who like a bohemian lifestyle. We enjoyed our stay, although the uneven floors and steep stairs to the top bedroom presented a challenge. We arrived very late, in the dark, and although we had a little difficulty finding the property, Kate was very helpful, and we found our way. Overall, a great stay.

We had a great couple of nights here. The cottage is perfect for a cosy stay, made even better with the addition of the log burner. The cottage is spacious, clean and has everything you need. The welcome package was a nice touch, we had a lovely breakfast the following morning. It was nice to be able to walk around the grounds too, where we saw some wildlife. Tony was a great, friendly host - answered any questions we had and also gave us recommendations for things to do locally and a bit further afield.

Peaceful stay at this lovely very large house. Kids were well catered for with the games room and big garden with swings. Everything with spotless and Catherine was so helpful. We loved it

Absolutely beautiful location. We visit Mersea a lot, but have never stayed in a cottage there. We will definitely coming to stay again. I just wish we had booked for longer. Perfect location. Didn't have to drive anywhere while we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Reading Rooms. Fabulous accommodation and a lovely restored cottage with many original features. The location was brilliant for walking to the local shops, pub and recreation ground. We also drive into Cambridge both days which only took 25 minutes. We will definitely try to stay again and visit gorgeous Linton!

This is a simply gorgeous property with incredible history and so many thoughtful little touches that make a stay here an absolute delight. Very comfy beds, fluffy towels, very well equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer and a real home away from home feel - it’s more like a luxury homestay than your typical AirBnB. This is an excellent base for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk - we wish we’d had more time to stay.

Perfect location in the country side. Easy to drive to Stowmarket. Plus good train links if you didn’t want to drive to Bury St Edmund. Accommodation modern and very clean. Loved the bird song in the back garden over a cup of tea. Highly recommend.

This charming cottage was a perfect find for visiting my family in Wivenhoe. The location by the river is wonderful. The accommodation is really lovely- spacious, clean, bright and everything provided for. Charles and Emma are lovely welcoming hosts. Thank you both for a lovely stay. I will undoubtedly be back. Karen is a lovely and highly professional host. Her place is a fantastic escape into a very quiet and peaceful location, we absolutely loved it. Also her home made jams and farm eggs are simply delicious. An enormous amount of information provided in files helped us make the most of our stay and explore the area. Don't hesitate to book Karen's place, I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

A lovely property kept in very good condition with all you need for a short stay. It was very quiet and had a beautiful garden to sit in and relax. Annabel was very welcoming and helpful. Can't fault anything.
