Thank you for a great stay. It was so nice we had the opportunity to revisit the beautiful cabin “Knatten”. There's no place in the world as amazing as Risør and Barmen. We very much hope to revisit the cabin another time.

Beautiful spot! We swam right off the dock and enjoyed relaxing in the boathouse on a sunny day. We were extremely thankful to have a boat, otherwise we may have felt slightly stranded. The home is very nice, lots of extras so it’s easy to cook. Gorgeous island and homes, we loved our time here. Thank you!

The big family with children and grandchildren enjoyed this great cabin. The cabin is peaceful and privately located in an area with nice hiking opportunities and a good location for visiting, among other things, Risør and Kragerø. The stay has met our expectations.

Beard and Ida are very nice and helpful hosts. We had a great week in a cozy cabin and fantastic surroundings. On foot and by boat, you can do all the shopping and reach many beautiful excursion destinations and islands, so you don't actually need the car. Mackerel can be caught directly 100m from the jetty. If you are looking for peace and beautiful views, you will find it here. We will be happy to come back.

We had a fantastic stay right down by the waterfront on the idyllic and beautiful property of Lisbeth and Per Arild. The days were filled with crab fishing, refreshing morning baths, relaxing moments and barbecuing on the edge of the jetty – pure summer idyll! An extra big thank you to Per Arild who took us on an unforgettable boat trip around Borøya, where we got to experience sea eagles up close. Thank you so much for some memorable and wonderful days with you. We highly recommend this place and will be happy to come back!

Firstly, Jostein and his wife were very welcomming and walked me through the facilities and instructed on all the important details of use! The cabin's location is amazingly situated by the Beach, beautigul view over the ocean, but still private and secluded. The cabin and its interior is bohemian style in its best meaning with equipment to live there, cook and entertain. Outdoors has so many posibilities as the cabin is equiped with lots of "water-toys" SUP, kayak's etc. The toddler will also be safe inside fences, and Jostein had left beach toys out for the little ones. We thrived during our stay and I warmly recommend Jostein's place/cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilie's apartment in late July 2024! The location in Kragerø can right and easily not get better. When you go out from the building you are in the middle of the busiest pedestrian street in the city with a bustling life and good atmosphere. It is not possible to park in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, but there is short term parking a stone's throw from the entrance so that you can get tired if you come by car. We parked the car in the long-term parking at Rema1000 on Kalstad; where it costs 100,- per day or 500,- per week. From there you can take a bus for 7 minutes back to the city center. The apartment was large, bright and spotless! Really nice with handwritten welcome letter with accompanying snacks and refreshments ;) The balcony was small, but with a fantastic view and enough space to enjoy the morning coffee and feel the atmosphere from Kragerø city that comes to life! All in all we were super happy - one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in! Thank you for us - hope to come back!

Great location

Our family of two adults and two small children had the pleasure of renting Kristina's very cozy summer house in Arendal city centre for 4 days this July. A small house with lots of soul and charm, a cozy secluded garden to drink your morning coffee, and not least; walking distance to everything you need! Within 5 minutes there is a beach, downtown streets with restaurants and cafes, and the harbor with the boats to the islands around. Although very central, the area is also quiet and peaceful, excellent for family with children. Recommended!

Great place with a beautiful view!

Christina is a friendly hostess and the information she sent separately was very helpful. The house is attractive and the garden with terrace is a pleasant place to be (we had good weather). Pleasant surprise was the comfortable double bed in one of the bedrooms. The area is beautiful, there are many hiking opportunities directly from the house. Unfortunately the bikes had flat tires but there was plenty to do without us having to use them.

We stayed in the cabin because of a wedding nearby. The cabin has a beautiful view and was very cozy. It was clean and tidy and all the necessary equipment for a weekend. The beds were good. We would like to rent the cabin again and have more time to use the bathing facilities and the nice terrace. Thank you!

A beautiful apartment in a charming historic house right by the water, with a stunning view over Risør. There’s a parking spot right at the door and everything is within walking distance – great restaurants, a small beach, and more. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring, and you can tell the place is looked after with a warm heart. We received many helpful tips and would come back anytime!
