We had a pleasant and excellent stay in this beautiful house. We enjoyed the calm and especially the pool that invigorates. The house was impeccable and a peaceful atmosphere emanated from it. Great place, lots of charm and the different indoor and outdoor spaces are very beautiful and very nice. 100% consistent with the photos, perfect for a stay with family with children or friends. The house is quiet while being located close to all amenities. Available and responsive host. We will come back, I recommend 150%, the whole family loved this very beautiful house with very pleasant exteriors. The living room with the fireplace to end the day quiet is a real plus

Myriam's house is simply wonderful. Very spacious, with a very comfortable master suite (bedroom + giant dressing room + bathroom), a top relaxation area: Sauna & pool, a veranda with professional plancha etc. etc.! Without hesitation, a dream house that we are sad to leave. The small town of Tartas, just next door, offers everything you need, but you should be aware that Bégaar is far from everything and you will have to drive a lot to access the interesting sites in the region. Idyllic... Everything is perfectly consistent with the descriptions given and the photos provided, even more (a bonus for the pot of foie gras provided on arrival!) The place is perfect for resting, quiet, the garden is beautiful and maintained, the pool is great, as is the spa, the terrace, etc. The city of Dax is a stone's throw away, shops in the immediate vicinity... Really, that's perfect! Not to mention Vincent, of course, a particularly friendly, accommodating, very responsive host to provide information before departure, welcoming on arrival, and available in case of questions... One of my best experiences via Airbnb, great! Thank you Vincent, and see you in a few months!

We had a great time in a charming house, located in a peaceful area, very close to the beach and shops by car. Loïc and Johanna's welcome was warm, and the house was spotless, perfectly equipped with everything you needed to feel at home. Thank you very much to them for their kindness and availability.

We spent a quick night with friends on the occasion of a wedding in the area. But the accommodation is ideal for a holiday or a weekend. We would have liked to enjoy it more as the environment is beautiful and peaceful.

Alain and Holly were wonderful hosts. They live on site and were always ready to answer questions about the local area. The barn we stayed in was really traditional and had a French farmhouse vibe. The barn was spacious and clean. The pool area was large and although shared we only saw one couple once during our weeks stay, it was still really peaceful. The area was peaceful, quiet and in the middle of the forest. We went to two local markets and shopped at the Super U about 15 minutes drive away. The lake which was a 5 minute drive was amazing, fresh water but also sand. You could easily spend a week just visiting here! There were wonderful walks around the lake, a cafe and places to hire water sports. We also visited Bayonne which was about an hour's journey from the house. We really enjoyed our stay here. Be sure to bring mosquito cream for the evenings as you are in the middle of nature!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house and our expectations were far exceeded. The location is perfectly quiet yet central, so we could easily reach everything in the area. The house itself is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and offers plenty of space for a relaxing break. A special highlight was the incredibly back-friendly mattresses - we rarely slept so well!!! It was really relaxing to wake up rested in the morning. A detail that takes the stay to another level. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions. They have thought of everything, from small welcome touches to tips for the area. We really felt at home and were able to fully enjoy the time undisturbed. We would recommend this house to everyone without hesitation! A big thank you to the hosts!

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

We had a 3 night stay here and wish it was longer! Such a clean and peaceful place. Super close to the beach to catch some waves, eat good food and simply enjoy the beach or go for a walk in nature. There was a massive fridge, nice if you’re with more people and want to have a nice bbq night. We were only with 2 and the house really felt like coming home. Indoor and outdoor. Nice spot for my morning Yoga and breakfast in the sun. The overall design makes it fun and brings you in complete holiday mode. The aircon keeps the house nice and cool. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped, very spacious and bright, has a huge garden and is wonderfully quiet between fields and forests. Contis - with its great beach and small town center for strolling and many nice restaurants - is easily reached in about 15 minutes by car, or also by bicycle, via mostly quiet paths, along small towns. The house is ideal for families with children, for relaxing, hiking, cycling and much more. Bayonne and Bordeaux - and also other beautiful cities - are easily reached in a day trip. I'm already looking forward to my next vacation at Gudi and Stéphane's house ☺️

This is a lovely never home. Very comfortable for our group of 3 couples. It is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. We enjoyed the pool on our one sunny day and enjoyed sitting on patio all three days we were there. I will note that the grill provided is charcoal and and the briquettes were not provided- so if you want to grill outside plan ahead. However the applique ces were excellent including a 7 burner stove. So we just grilled inside!

We had a great weekend at Alexandra's house, who was responsive during our exchanges and very nice. Very well furnished and decorated house; Contis is a great place to spend time at the ocean. Thank you!

This home is a little gem. Tastefully decorated, clean, and matching the photos and descriptions. We spent two nights in this charming little studio, close to the ocean. That said, the lack of WiFi and a washing machine is not ideal for a long stay. Despite this, we had a great time in Mimizan. The rental is quite close to the city. The cloudy weather did not slow us down in our activities, especially since the ocean alone is a memorable experience. Co-host Patricia is responsive, pleasant, and available. Solène and Louna

Elodie is a very responsive host and attentive to our requests. In addition, a supply is set up so as not to be bothered as soon as we arrive, something not always present in other rentals. The accommodation matches the description in the listing. A well-fenced garden, ideal for our animals, with a small attention of a few toys left. The calm that surrounds the house allows us to disconnect completely. We really recommend this rental.

We were well received, in a peaceful and pleasant setting. The loft complies with the listing description, and tastefully decorated, clean , and presenting the necessary equipment. The location is ideal, close to other cities ( 20 minutes to 35 minutes). Lydie and Jesse meet the lowest expectations of us . We will come back!
