The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized - everything was labeled, making it incredibly easy to find what we needed. What sets this place apart is the attention to detail - from the well-appointed kitchen with various appliances to the overall peaceful atmosphere that envelops the property. It truly felt like a "home away from home" - but without any of the stress! The location in Wardensville offers beautiful surroundings, and the host was exceptional - responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to providing guests with a five-star experience. If you're looking for a getaway that combines comfort, convenience, and natural beauty, the Cottage at Lost River Ridge is an absolute gem.

Staying at Su’s Airbnb was an absolute delight—the location is exactly as photographed, and even more beautiful in person, with serene surroundings that made it the perfect escape for peace and quiet. Su went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, adding thoughtful touches that truly made the stay special. Every detail of the space reflects care and warmth, and I felt instantly at ease from the moment I arrived. It’s rare to find a place that feels both stunning and soul-soothing, and I will very likely be returning one day.

Upon arrival we were impressed with the clean, open space. Teresa attention to detail was obvious. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and peaceful. We were able to grill out back and enjoyed the sunshine. A walk to town was delightful. The made from scratch Wild Roots cafe was delicious. Try their cinnamon rolls. The shoppers in the family enjoyed discovering a treasure at the local thrift/variety shop and the White House boutique. We plan to return for a ride on the Potomac Eagle when it’s running.
