Guesthouse in the North Frisian countryside

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Stadslogement het Keerpunt has a rich historical past. The building dates from 1896 and was originally an inn and lodging called "Het Harlinger Veerhuis". Holiday home Tergreft is a beautiful cozy home on the Dokkumer Ee (The Elfstedentocht route) The house was just renovated and has a combined design of old and modern with all the needed facilities. The house offers the possibility to rest, enjoy the Dokkumer Ee and the beautiful ships that pass by, bird watching, cycling. Within 20 minutes of driving you will get to Leeuwarden or Dokkum both interesting. There is also a 2 persons canoe and two sup boards that can be used free of charge.

Guesthouse "De Serre"

In beautiful Friesland, this beautiful house with great views is located. The Serre is a holiday home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. In this garden also stay our dog, the goats (behind a fence) and the chickens and free-range ducks. Great nature reserves in this region invite you to hike and cycle. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.

Within 10 minutes, you can be in Dokkum, and within half an hour, you can be in Leeuwarden or Drachten. You can park for free at the forest, right next to the cottage. All basic facilities are available, and this allows you to fully relax and enjoy your stay in Rinsumageast!"

On the ground floor, there is a living room and kitchen and a bathroom. Private garden and parking. Fantastic unobstructed view! Villa Rose (on the waterfront)

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. As of May 2020 including air conditioning in the living room + bedrooms.

At the edge of Burgum, at the back of the yard, is our summer cottage. A former horse barn that we have converted into an independent space overlooking a beautiful piece of meadow, where rabbits and storks can be spotted now and then!
