The Straw Chalet

Immerse yourself in a naturally built building. Made of straw bales with earthen plaster in its own enclosed garden. It is snug and cosy. There are lovely evening sunset views from the terrace. It is very private and quiet apart from wildlife. An ideal place to come and escape it all in-front of the log fire. Parking is at the main house and gate. There is mains water and electric but no wifi. There is a compost loo which we will explain to you when you arrive! Dogs welcome for a small fee.

Accommodation is on three levels with a large double bedroom, kitchen diner leading to the shower room and toilet, and lounge area containing a double sofa-bed. A conservatory off the lounge leads to a utility room with downstairs toilet and a south facing patio area. Off-road parking included.

Our Cosy cottage set in the suffolk country side within easy reach of Beccles , Bungay & Halesworth. We are 20 mins from Aldburgh Carnival, Lattitude, Snape Maltings and Sizewell. 20 Miles from Norwich . 20 mins from local beaches Southwold and Walberswick 10mins from St Peters Brewery and the Raw milk shed in Flixton where the famous Baron Bigod cheese is made, there are also lots of local produces breads, meats, pizza ,vegetables. 2mins on to Norfolk +Suffolk Aviation museum.
