Our "little house" is located right on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill farm! We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbour, and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful natural surroundings, you have come to the right place! The vacation rental is located in a separate building with romantic flair. It is lovingly and tastefully renovated, so you can really feel good. The new kitchen is fully equipped, the chic bathroom has a window to the garden and the very comfortable 1.80 m wide bed has a comfortable height. Bicycles can be stored in the garage. The apartment is 50 square meters, has Wi-Fi and can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. There are numerous refreshment stops along cycling and hiking trails.

The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area “Pfälzer Wald” with its popular managed huts. The Villa Ludwigshöhe, the Rietburg ruins, which can be reached on a romantic path with the Rietburg cable car, the wildlife sanctuary located there and a panoramic café are just some of the beautiful excursion destinations.

You will find our apartment in the idyllic, old Winzerhaus in Wachenheim an der Weinstr., within walking distance of the castle and in the beautiful town center with wine bars and restaurants. Ideal as a starting point for hiking or cycling trips in the Palatinate Forest. Bad Dürkheim and Deidesheim are only a few km away and offer a diverse outdoor, leisure and cultural program.

Gardenview

You live in your own little house with private entrance. It has a toilet, sink and shower, sauna on request (€20 extra) and a small, beautiful garden. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed (1.4 × 2 m), TV, DVD and a good stereo system. There is another sleeping accommodation (2 x 2 m) in the upper area. It is a private household. We are happy to have guests and always try to provide a personal welcome.
