Our vacation apartment THE APARTMENT Without Benedikt Kappenstein, Hof Erlenbruch would not exist in its current form. The guest room in the old haystack was awakened from its slumber and, after more than a year of renovation, was transformed by hand into a vacation home/apartment. The character of the old haystack was partially retained. Thus a piece of luxury was created in the Wildenburger Land on Hof Erlenbruch away from the urban hustle and bustle. The only people who live on Hof Erlenbruch are Benedikt Kappenstein, who manages the farm, his life partner Michael Noiron and their son. There are no cars around the farm and no traffic noise, as the access road ends in the courtyard. There is no Internet connection, as this cannot be provided by the providers and even cell phone reception is not possible on every corner. There is no everyday stress and no noise here. Here you only hear the rustling and cracking of the trees when the wind blows and the occasional howling of a fox. Here you can determine your daily rhythm in harmony with nature. Simply let yourself be carried away into the boundless forest landscapes of mountain and valley of the Wildenburger Land and discover our historic landscapes. Enjoy the tranquility and comfort of our apartment, which invites you to relax. The nearest neighbors are about 800 meters away, here you will experience pure secluded idyll! And if you should be drawn to more populated areas, you can cycle directly out of the courtyard exit and reach the nearest main road after just 2.6 km. A unique mixture of rustic farm and classics in a modern style await our guests in our newly designed apartment. An impressive mix with stylish interiors, modern design and traditional materials, which Benedikt Kappenstein and Michael Noiron have adapted to the style. A copper-colored bathtub next to the Jailhouse Bed by Noodles Noodles on the gallery, cozy wooden elements, fireplace and a completely new interior ensure the perfect feel-good atmosphere. Through the large windows you have a view of the surrounding landscape and our alpacas. The bathroom was also completely renovated in 2017 and remains true to the style of the apartment with a mixture of classics and wooden elements. A small kitchenette allows you to cater for yourself if you do not want to visit one of the culinary restaurants in the area. BOOKING You have the option to book the apartment for two or a maximum of four people. On the gallery there is a bed for two people. Below is the distinctive Moule sofa, with a transformation comfort with rotating seats and flexible backrests, which can not only be used as a seat and relaxation furniture, but can also be transformed into a comfortable double bed in a few simple steps.

Forest Cottage *PURE NATURE* on a farmstead in the countryside

Our "little house" is located right on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill farm! We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbour, and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful natural surroundings, you have come to the right place! The vacation rental is located in a separate building with romantic flair. It is lovingly and tastefully renovated, so you can really feel good. The new kitchen is fully equipped, the chic bathroom has a window to the garden and the very comfortable 1.80 m wide bed has a comfortable height. Bicycles can be stored in the garage. The apartment is 50 square meters, has Wi-Fi and can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. There are numerous refreshment stops along cycling and hiking trails.

Cozy mobile home in nature

Relax in this special and quiet space. In our small mobile home, you have your peace and seclusion. It is located near our farm, the bathroom is on the courtyard grounds (about 80m away). We offer three caravan parking spaces for overnight stays. If there are campers, they will also use the bathroom. Only for guests who love nature and a camping atmosphere! You are welcome to bring your dog and/or horse. The open stable is next door.

You live in your own little house with private entrance. It has a toilet, sink and shower, sauna on request (€20 extra) and a small, beautiful garden. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed (1.4 × 2 m), TV, DVD and a good stereo system. There is another sleeping accommodation (2 x 2 m) in the upper area. It is a private household. We are happy to have guests and always try to provide a personal welcome.

Stay in the most beautiful farmhouse in Saarland. The house was built before 1830 and completely renovated in the early 2000s, in the old style but with modern technology. Our house is the winner of the 2006 Farmhouse Competition. Our approx. 50 square meter apartment is lovingly equipped with a sleeping gallery and living room (sleeps 4), kitchenette with dishwasher, underfloor heating, etc.
