You can get to Frankfurt fair by car in about an hour. Our well-equipped self-catering holiday flat is in Langhecke, and looks over the valley which leads down to the Lahn river in Aumenau. The flat is ideal as a basis for trecking trips, canoe trips on the Lahn, (motor)bike tours or trail riding (ask us about keeping your horses nearby!). Anyone who has always wanted to spend a nice time in a half-timbered house will find our favorite place in Winden, our half-timbered vacation home from the 17th century. century. You have space for 10 people and can explore the Westerwald from here. It has 5 bedrooms each with a double bed, a dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a small, cozy living room. From here it is not far to Koblenz, Limburg, Frankfurt or Cologne.
