Around the corner you will find the best bakery in town, Braud&Co and our local supermarket Kronan. New pictures coming, some changes, new furniture, infrared sauna from Saunaspace etc. Quiet and wonderful apartment with everything you need. New, very clean and spacious. If travelling from KEF Airport to Reykjavik area with the flybus, exit in Gardabaer at Aktu Taktu. Ask the bus driver to stop there. From there you need a taxi to Ljosakur or ask me for a pick up. A rental car is better :) We live above so don't hesitate to contact us. We will help and try to make your stay in Iceland perfect. Or enjoy the privacy. The home is in a great neighborhood that features a nice garden and playground with swimming pools, golf courses and a sports arena nearby. Reykjavik is a short drive away providing access to museums and exquisite restaurants. This is one of the safest place you can find in the city. We recommend to rent a car at the airport (KEF). It's easy to find your ways with a smartphone. If you don't have internet on your smartphone you can use our GPS (Garmin), it's in the apartment in the top drawer under the TV. Swimming pool, hot tubs, gym and golf courses very nearby. Heidmork, one of the most beautiful nature area near the city is nearby. Perfect for walking or cycling. Supermarkets, bakeries, stores and restaurants are near. A new supermaket (Kronan) is in walking distance.

The apartment is well located near Klambratún park and Reykjavik art museum in a walking distance to the city centre and the main street Laugavegur. The apartment is on the second floor. The owners live on the first floor ready to help and give advise. Host welcome guests with keys etc. on arrival. The house is in a nice street with free parking. Location is near tour pick ups. If there are more than 5 persons staying, we have a couch in the living room that can be pulled out for two to sleep in

Fabulous Penthouse Apartment on the main street

This amazing Penthouse apartment is on the top two floors in a relatively new building on Laugavegur, the main shopping street, fully equipped with everything you need for a short or medium-term stay. Downstairs there is a bathroom with a large bathtub and shower, kitchen, a living-room with a dining area and a large window facing south towards Hallgrimskirkja, the main Reykjavik landmark. The bedroom is upstairs along with a balcony providing excellent view to the south over the city centre.

My place is about 10-15 minutes drive by car from the city centre (NOT WALKING DISTANCE). Free parking. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, but is close to the main bus station in Reykjavík and public transport and easy commute to the city centre with buses. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the quiet neighbourhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers.
