There is a 24 hour supermarket at the ground floor and a low-cost grocery store close by(2. min walk).Within walking distance (5 min) there is a geothermal pool (swimminghall of Reykjavik).

Loftið is surrounded with fir trees and birch, moss and mountains, with hiking trails all around, and near by is the lake Hafravatn. 2 km to the next grocery store, and 3 km to the center of Mosfellsbæ, where you can find a bakery, restaurants and library. About 600 meters to the bus stop, where you can take the bus to Reykjavík centrum.
