Cycladic house rentals in Rethymno

We were two families with two children and spend a week in Lena’s house. The villa is specious and comfortable. Pool was nice and clean. The house is in a remote location so you do need a car for everything, but you are in a less touristy and quiet spot of Crete and you can reach most of the top attractions within an hour drive. It’s about 15min drive to the nearest beach and 45min to Rhetymno town. It’s also easy to go to the mountains.

Beautiful location and amazing views. Slightly awkward to drive to with slightly bad very hilly roads so a 4x4 would have felt safer but we managed with a small rental car. The villa was lovely and the views were to die for. The infinity pool was really nice. We were welcomed by the owner and his wife himself with a nice welcome pack of provisions. Only (small) caveat is the necessity for a car as even the nearby village, beach and shops was a bit of a hilly trek. Overall a wonderful experience and would stay again.

Papa Pavlov's house was cozy simple and personal. A house with soul and many nice nooks to sit in when it was hot, windy, or dark. We were there for 5 weeks. Enjoyed tours around the island and also relaxing in Kerames town. Went many trips with the dog. Met nice people who we greeted but couldn't talk to because of the language. A really good grocery store 200m away and div. Taverna We would highly recommend the place and would love to come back. Ps our dog could stay inside the lower yard when we brought a baby glitter.

We had a great stay in Matala. The appartement has a beautiful location with an amazing view over the beach, sea and caves of Matala. It was only 1 min walk to the main street, and 20 meters more to the beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars on walking distance. The big plus for us was the private outdoor shower to shower off sand/sea water, and the big outdoor table with an incredible view. It was also a really short hike up to the top behind the appartment to watch the sunsets (on the way to the red beach). Ieronimoss was really helpfull with check-in and check-out. Recommended!

We loved staying in this house - one of the best that we have stayed in over many years visiting Crete . View over the mountains is spectacular and the area is very quiet. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. The outside sitting area and pool are perfect for sunbathing and eating outside. We didn’t want to leave ! Eleftherios was very helpful and answered our questions quickly. We would love to return .

We had a wonderful third time in this house and village. Ian and Bev are warm and welcoming hosts!

We were really delighted with the beautiful soundings with distant view of the sea and forests and mountains. The accommodation was very fairly priced and the staff were helpful at all times. Lovely remote, pretty village with small shops, restaurants and beach 15 minute drive away. 30 minute drive to Chania old town which is worth a visit.

top accommodation with a great view , need a car because on the island's authors, small pool bar right in front of the villa very nice. Richard has about staying patient , responsive and very helpful by message. 🙂 Yuli the person in charge of cleaning the pool and house and really very kind and professional. i'll retain the rental and will be happy to come back 🙂

Nice house, everything worked

We had the most wonderful stay at Wild Pear Villa. The villa is beautiful with a fantastic view of Agia Pelagia and the sea. It was in perfect condition, super clean, stocked with everything you need. We did not have a car but it's a short walk down to a small but lovely beach where you will find a few restaurants and a mini market. A little further walk will take you to Agia Pelagia which has many more restaurants and shops. Our hosts were wonderful. Anna and Victoria quickly replied to any questions we had and their mother Olga greeted us with food, fruits and beverages which we really appreciated arriving in the evening after a long flight from New York. Lovely people and a lovely home. We honestly didn't want to leave!

10/10 would recommend! Everything was according to the description and worth the price. Our apartament was clean and spacious, very well equipped for daily use. Odisseas & Evita were available and very helpful while sharing their recommendations. The town is small and rather quiet in April but the views and surroundings were most beautiful.

We were a family of 11, 5 of which children, and our stay was just perfact. the Villa is even better in real life, the pool and Suana were great, the kitchen was good as well and the rooms were very nice. Maria was very responsive and helpful. overall our stay was amazing and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. We were a group of 6 and were there for a total of 12 days. The villa corresponded exactly to the description and as shown in the photos. The location was perfect for us, very quiet and you could enjoy the privacy very much. Beaches, restaurants and supermarkets were reachable in 10-15 minutes by car. Particularly positive was our host, he welcomed us on time at the villa and showed us everything. We were even able to communicate in German. He was always available and answered our questions within minutes. He even visited us twice in the villa, so we could exchange information well. He organized all the activities we wanted, such as a safari tour, quad tour, diving, etc... We are very excited about our vacation and would recommend it to anyone. We will definitely book a place to stay with the host Intertrip again

We would like to thank the owners of the house very much for this great stay, the house was exactly as described and pictured and that only made our stay more pleasant. However, we recommend, only book if you also have transportation! Furthermore, everything is very luxurious and neatly arranged. And we also got delicious homemade dishes that you should hopefully not miss. They also made sure we didn't lack anything and we were always allowed to ask questions if necessary.

House was lovely and Minoas was terrific looking after us. Loads of recommendations for activities and alway available if we had any questions. A pleasure staying in his beautiful villa.

We had to cancel or rebook the reservation a few days before our scheduled arrival. Actually, we were entitled to 0% refund - however, the owner refunded 100% of the amount. He could have easily capped the money from the whole reservation - that's a very fine move. Our arrival was very late - yet we received a warm welcome. Including a few supplies and an Easter surprise. The contact was friendly, pleasant and not intrusive. The location is very nice - especially if you like it a little remote and value privacy. Right next to the pool is another meadow and the flowers bloom. Cleanliness great, great equipment! No negative criticism, 5 stars !

The villa was absolutely stunning! It was very clean, spacious and modern. Panagoula was an amazing host, she made us feel right at home. She welcomed us with authentic refreshments and snacks for the stay. She gave us recommendations of many local restaurants, shops and sightseeing locations, which was really helpful. The villa had a beautiful pool, bbq area(outdoor kitchen) and we loved the outdoor fireplace. The views from the villa was beautiful and peaceful. Also we would recommend Panagoula car rental service too, it was a reasonable price and very much needed to explore Crete and getting around. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone! It was definitely worth it. Panagoula really took care of us and the attitude to always help with anything made the stay so much better and memorable. Thank you again my friend :)

Fantastic experience start to finish. Minoas, the host, was communicative, welcoming, super helpful and very friendly. The villa was beautiful, just like the photos, and the views were stunning. The local beach is a great place to walk to and there are lots of bars situated there which also serve yummy food. Easy to drive to (rent a car if you’re flying into chania and want to explore more of the island) and very safe. Definitely recommend!!

The villa is in a fantastic peaceful location with views in every direction. It is stylish, spacious, and well-equipped. We stayed as an extended family and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are walks from the door and the beach is lovely and easy to get to. The hosts were friendly, instantly responsive. and helpful, for example arranging a taxi. We would be happy to stay here again.
