Holiday rentals with beach access in Rethymno

We had a really great, relaxing time at the apartment from Stavros. We enjoyed nice evenings on the big terrace and being able to walk along the seaside to the old part of Rethymno in just 15minutes. We also really liked the location of the apartment around the corner from the beach, the supermarket downstairs and the bus stop down the street. Stavros gave us a very friendly welcome and even recommended great spots for food and activities.

We loved our stay at Anastasio’s! The apartment was clean and just as the photos described. The location was beautiful, overlooking the water and within walkable distance to everything you could need. Anastasio and Fotis were extremely responsive and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in early when we arrived to the city earlier than expected. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location, very short walk to the port, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The host was extremely responsive and always willing to help make our stay comfortable! Apartment was very clean and the jacuzzi is a great feature. Multiple cafe’s/bars just downstairs with great food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend staying at this property if you want to be close to the venetian port and all Chania has to offer.

We stayed for two nights in Agia Galíni with Panagiotis, and the experience was really relaxing. The accommodation is very beautiful, perfectly matches the photos, even with a terrace larger than we expected! Upon arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting our host, who welcomed us warmly and gave us excellent recommendations for our excursions during the stay. He was available, attentive and very good advice until we left. We highly recommend this place, which offers great value, in the heart of a charming village with many restaurants and bars. We'll be happy to come back!

Lovely spot right next to the water! Great layout and it was a dream to wake up to the sounds of the ocean. Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay especially watching sunrises with coffee on the balcony and watching sunsets with some wine. The views are stunning. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay and was quiet when we needed some rest. It was about a 20 minute walk to old town and had good sidewalks and lighting. Parking in Rethymno can be challenging so having a spot was very convenient. There is a little beach across the street for a quick dip in the sea. It is a great spot for venturing to other locations. I highly recommend checking out the artist town of Margarites. Nikos was a great host, very easy to reach and provided some lovely recommendations.

Would love to come back and stay at 7 Olives again. Each apartment has a stunning view from their balcony. All the guests were quiet and respectful. Two super comfy pillows for each of us which we didn’t find anywhere else on our trip to Europe. The mattress was also very comfortable. And Alex was by far my favorite Greek kitty we met.

Very welcoming and responsive hosts (I stupidly locked myself out the first night…. They found a solution very quickly while they were not on site). Thanks again for their kindness! Very nice accommodation, clean and close to shops and the KTEL bus station.

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Dena was a great host, I never met her but she always responded to all my questions. The studio was comfortable with a fabulous location. Parking at the nearby port was also convenient. We were able to leave our car for days without a problem. You don't need a car really when your Rethymno but we visited the smaller villages and really recommend going to Patsos Gorge. Incredible!

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

Very nice accommodation, with really great amenities. It is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. There was already a very good selection of food available, as well as plenty of fresh fruit and water. Check-in /out via key box very uncomplicated and flexible. Theo’s apartment is absolutely beautiful place to stay right in the heart of the old city - we had an amazing stay and thoroughly recommend. Theo was a brilliant host, the personal welcome and flexible check in and check out made us feel right at home even after a long journey. The apartment is beautifully equipped and finished, with comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms with lots of storage. The roof terrace is stunning, catching the sun all day with lots of comfortable furniture. The location is perfect for food and shopping in the heart of the old city, with stunning sea swimming locations a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay, Theo was awesome and the overall cost was good value for money.

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Small deck overlooking the Chania Bay lighthouse and all the restaurants surrounding the bay. Airbnb at end and had a great restaurant (with blue chairs) that had great food. Beds were comfortable and back bedroom was very quiet as well. The owner met us at check-in and explained everything. Top deck was very nice to sit, my husband actually pulled out his laptop and worked on the table for awhile. He was in heaven. But we enjoyed sitting on small deck off living space too. Husband and myself w our two young adult children loved that we were so close to everything. Do not hesitate to book this airbnb.

It was a wonderful stay! The apartment is completely new, modern and beautifully decorated. The hosts are a kind young couple who are extremely hospitable and professional. Starting with care before arrival, through a tour of the apartment, numerous recommendations about Rethymno, refreshments with cake, honey and other food, and finally fulfilling a special request. The location is fantastic, a few steps to everything. Thank you! I will be back.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Loved the huge deck. Across street from beautiful beach where you could rent chairs and an umbrella and order food and drink. Walk to dozens of all kinds of different restaurants right on the “the strip” and in the old town.

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

we had a very pleasant stay at the artists penthouse! It was exactly as beautiful in the pictures, and the views are absolutely amazing. The place was beyond comfortable and felt like home. Our host was incredibly responsive, checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was okay, and that we enjoyed ourselves. truly, highly recommend staying here. A large group or family would be very comfortable here. We had many great dinners on the balcony- plus, only a 4 minute walk to the beach with a lot of local restaurants. 5/5!

Eftychia is an exceptional host, very welcoming. She had planned a lot of nice touches. The apartment is beautiful and very clean. The area is very good, close to the old town on foot. I recommend it!

Thanks for the great stay. The apartment is very clean, well renovated, practically furnished, only 3 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes on the promenade to the old town and despite the location on a busy road quite quiet. Parking the rental car was also quite unproblematic. Free parking is available in the area. The balcony is a bit narrow and not so suitable for sitting outside (especially since it is also a bit noisy outside). All in all, a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
