Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Rethimnon

The house is in a great location, very clean and functional, close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach. Michael is very friendly and always responded to our questions. In conclusion, I can say we made the right choice by renting the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Dena was a great host, I never met her but she always responded to all my questions. The studio was comfortable with a fabulous location. Parking at the nearby port was also convenient. We were able to leave our car for days without a problem. You don't need a car really when your Rethymno but we visited the smaller villages and really recommend going to Patsos Gorge. Incredible!

We were received very hospitably by Mixalis and he showed us everything in the apartment. In the kitchen there was a large fruit basket, filled with juicy apples, apples, and bananas. The apartment was equipped with everything you need and the Wi-Fi was very fast. We were able to park our car safely in the property. The property has a large gate that can be automatically locked. It's only a few kilometers to Rethymnon with good shopping, but you can also buy groceries in the village. We enjoyed the apartment of Mixalis very much and we will definitely come back. We loved our stay at Mano's place! It is truly one of our favorite airbnbs of all time. The apartment is just as it's depicted in the photos - perhaps even more spectacular in person. The rooftop is amazing; it was wonderful to sit out there in the mornings and evenings to see the view of the city. There is noise in the evening as mentioned but we were fine with the white noise machine (on our phone). Manos met us (!!) at the nearby parking lot and we managed to find free parking every day. It was so much fun being in the heart of Rethymno. We enjoyed the shops, restaurants, and visiting the many historic sites (museum, fort, churches...). We had a lovely stay and if we're lucky enough to visit Crete again, we'd stay in Mano's place again in a heartbeat!

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

A Slice of Heaven in Crete. Our stay in this beautifully designed home was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by peaceful olive groves and bathed in Cretan sunshine, every moment felt serene and special. The sweet little pool was the perfect place to unwind, and the home itself was as stunning as it was comfortable. The hosts were warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Katerina's place! Amazing patio with a view, photos are accurate. Great to have a washing machine & drying rack. Katerina was extremely friendly and helpful with her communications and meeting us on site to check in. Thank you!

The photos do not do this beautiful place justice. The flowers and greens are so bright, and you have a view of mountains and the sea. Tina is incredibly kind and accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. She sent me home with some wonderful herbs from her garden - they smell amazing! She also treated me to some homemade Cretan cake she baked at the start of my trip. As a solo traveller, this was incredibly special and I am so grateful to her. Driving around the area is fantastic with so many beaches and hikes in the surrounding area. The space is very clean and comfortable! I hope to one day return.

Very nice spacious apartment, clean and lots of amenities, with a large balcony and parking. It is very well located, facing the sea, and 10 minutes' walk from the old town. Convenience store and restaurant within 5 minutes' walk. There are several small, very peaceful beaches to the east and west 5 minutes away. In short, everything for a successful stay.

Highly recommend!! We came to Kalyves for some rest and relaxation and our stay at Avra apartments exceeded this expectation. The apartment was very clean, stocked with all the essentials plus some, and the terrace was the perfect place to start every day - we even arrived to some welcome gifts. Stelios was incredibly accommodating and responsive, quickly providing us with additional amenities, such as beach towels. Chania and its surrounding areas were amazing, but this accommodation really made it feel like home away from home. The whole trip was perfect thanks to Stelios’ help! Avra apartments exceeded our expectations in every way! Hope to come back soon!

Staying with Nikolaos was relaxing and lovely - the apartment is directly across from a historical fortress and situated in the old town. The studio was clean and charming. Make sure to use the ceiling fan to cool the room. I would love to stay here again, thank you!

From arrival to check in to departure, everything was made smooth by Stella & Manos. We had an issue with our flights being changed and we ended up arriving a night before and Stella & Manos made arrangement where we could stay somewhere next door until our room was ready the next day. Their customer service was beyond expectation and their hospitality was amazing. I would definitely recommend this studio. It is also only 8 min walk to the beach and all the resturants nearby ❤️ Thank you Stella & Manos for this wonderful stay and for making it less stressful for us! Love, Nila & Anton

It was a wonderful stay! The apartment is completely new, modern and beautifully decorated. The hosts are a kind young couple who are extremely hospitable and professional. Starting with care before arrival, through a tour of the apartment, numerous recommendations about Rethymno, refreshments with cake, honey and other food, and finally fulfilling a special request. The location is fantastic, a few steps to everything. Thank you! I will be back.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!

We had a great stay at Nikos' place. The view is incredible, you'll want to spend your days on the balcony! The bedding is comfortable, and there is everything available for a very good stay. Nikos was very welcoming and discreet, he recommended a place to park easily and reach the centre of Chania on foot, which was very convenient! In short, we really enjoyed our vacation in this accommodation and recommend it 100%. Thank you Nikos!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Anna was a super helpful host. We worked from her place for a week. The apartment was perfect for what we needed. It’s only a short walk into town - which is very charming. The beach across the road has crystal clear water - even if there is some debris on the sand. The road is a bit noisy - but the doors keep out the noise. Anna’s place is spacious and very well appointed with everything you could need. Thanks to Anna for the late check out as well!

Close to the beach. Parking available. Apartment has everything you might need. Helpful host. Everything within walking distance, car is only needed for day trips. Nice toys for the kids. The only downside is that it is next to a busy road with the necessary noise.

We were able to spend 12 days in the beautiful apartment in Rethymno. The apartment is located on a hill, but the path can be walked easily (down to the city it is about 10 minutes, if you stroll). It is sometimes a challenge in the heat and you can sweat a lot, but that is not a problem either. If necessary, you can also arrange a taxi for 6 euros from the old town. The apartment has two air conditioners, which is really great for cooling down the rooms after a hot summer day. In addition, the apartment has fly screens, which protect you from unwanted roommates. There are plenty of parking options around the apartment. In general, everything is very nicely decorated, the terraces are a dream. Everything you need is there. Communication with the landlords is totally uncomplicated and if there were any questions, there was a direct answer. All around a perfect holiday, to which the apartment also contributed! :-) Thanks a lot!
