Highly recommend staying at Simos's place! Very well-maintained, short walk away from many shops and restaurants, and the view of the water from the balcony is spectacular. Very much enjoyed our time there!

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Wow! Artemis is such a thoughtful host. The property is peaceful and beautiful. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy Crete and the Mediterranean. Our apartment was cleaned every weekday; that was a bonus!

The apartment is compact but fine. It is slightly against the hill, which is good for walking (but rising). The view over the bay never gets boring, it's so beautiful! In the village, there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants, plenty to choose from. A large part of the beach is a gently sloping sandy beach. Really nice! Also a great base to explore the area.

This is a very special apartment that has a view like no other. It’s the perfect home base to explore Chania and the region. I especially enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. There are many green grocers and farmer’s markets to procure the best Cretan produce and enjoying your meals with that incredible view. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and John is a superb host. He is not only thoughtful, he’s very proactive. The best experience I’ve had with Airbnb. He should be called a super, super host!

Located right in the heart of old town Chania, can easily people watch and take in the sights and sounds of old town without having to leave your place. Perfect sunset views. Note: best place to reliably park for free overnight is “Chania town car park”, about a 10 min walk. May be easier in the off season; and harder in the peak. Overall the location can’t be beat.

Words can’t describe how incredible this home is. Every corner you looked there was a masterpiece to be found. Beautifully decorated is an understatement, this Airbnb was curated over years and years of living. It was nested in the heart of the town. I will 100% be coming back. I truly recommend staying with Niko in this beautiful villa! The house is very modern, the outside area spectacular and private and the communication with Niko was clear and helpful. The accommodation works for both families and friends. The house is located around 30mins from Chania which is easy to get to by car. Can only recommend renting this villa.

Easy to get to know the old town. Located on the quieter side of the Venetian port. Services nearby. Too soft a bed in my opinion, but it's just a matter of sleeping.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Small deck overlooking the Chania Bay lighthouse and all the restaurants surrounding the bay. Airbnb at end and had a great restaurant (with blue chairs) that had great food. Beds were comfortable and back bedroom was very quiet as well. The owner met us at check-in and explained everything. Top deck was very nice to sit, my husband actually pulled out his laptop and worked on the table for awhile. He was in heaven. But we enjoyed sitting on small deck off living space too. Husband and myself w our two young adult children loved that we were so close to everything. Do not hesitate to book this airbnb.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Valias place was amazing ! We dealt with her mum Katerina who was super friendly and always on the phone if I needed anything. Perfect location with stunning views of the Venetian port . Everywhere easy to get to. The beach about a 30 min walk and a beautiful one at that. Highly recommend and are looking forward to booking again nxt year 😀

We had a great time at Fotis and Amalia’s place. Definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed! The location was perfect as we like to stay just outside of the hustle and bustle but close enough so we can dip in and out with ease. There’s plenty of bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets around. The views are just outstanding and we ended up getting food a few times to eat at home as we enjoyed to look at the sea from the house. It was also easy to cook, there’s plenty of utensils if you wish to prep a meal in. The bed was really comfortable, as I’m 7 months pregnant asked if we could have a couple of extra pillows and this was ready for our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of groceries we had available at the house too! Fresh fruit (we loved making our own fresh orange juice in the morning!), bread, butter and many other snacks! Fotis was also great at recommending places to visit like beaches, restaurants and museums. We 100% recommend this place!

We stayed at Nikos's place from 10/6-10/12. The sea view was great. In the evening we heard the sea rushing. 2 minutes to the beach. The water was clear and pleasant 25°. There were not many people on the beach, a pleasant atmosphere. The island offers many attractions, the old town of Rethymno is worth a trip alone. The prices are ok. The Greeks are nice and hospitable. Nikos was on hand when we had an issue. Very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place👍. Regine and Heike from Germany🙋🙋.

Loved the huge deck. Across street from beautiful beach where you could rent chairs and an umbrella and order food and drink. Walk to dozens of all kinds of different restaurants right on the “the strip” and in the old town.

Nice, modern flat at the beach. Is equipped with everything you may nee d. Very nice owner and the communication with Etouri was pleasant.

The apartment’s large balcony & location at the quiet end of the Venetian Harbour in Chania old town, was perfect for relaxing and exploring the labyrinthine little alleyways of the old town of Chania. I started and ended the day sitting on the balcony, watching sensational sunsets, the quiet chatter of people in the restaurant below and the mooring and unmooring of boats in the harbour! Christina, my main contact, was outstanding in her responsiveness and assistance in ordering a taxi etc. I would definitely stay here again!
