Cottage on Åsen

Small cottage with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here there is a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice ride, a bit heavy for some lots. Recommend to go up before dark. Remember good shoes and warm clothes. On top of that, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. Idyllic annex in scenic surroundings, with stunning views of Hallingdal. The annex is on its own on the edge of a farm. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. Distance to Sun seats with marked runs is 1 km. Golsfjellet is a mile away. The cottage consists of kitchen w/wood stove +2 hotplates, bathroom with shower cubicle and fire toilet, loft and living room with double sleeping couch. Heated with firewood and electricity. It is possible to rent bed linen for 75 kr per set. Private parking outside the cottage.

Nice view of Geilo and its slopes situated 950m above sea level. Geilo has many activities for families and couples. Skiing, dog-sleighing, rafting, bicycling, horse-back riding, bowling and hiking. The hut is on the doorstep of Hardangervidda National Park. Personalized interior. Accessible by car during summer and winter on a snow-ploughed private road. 4x4 recommended during winter, but I can be of assistance if conditions for your 2-wheel drive are rough. Bed sheets and towels included!

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Huset er bygget i 1905 og har interiør fra århundreskiftet til ca 1970. Store, lyse og luftige soverom i 2.etasje. Kjøkken og stue med vedovn og kamin i 1.etasje. Huset ligger like ved Hallingdalselva med flotte bade- og fiskemuligheter. Du kan låne robåt eller kanoer. Vi snakker norsk, engelsk og spansk.

Stay in a traditionally storehouse at a Norwegian farm at Noresund, 100 km and 90 minutes drive from Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 8 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice. We recomend that you have a car avaliable.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
