The property is located at the town exit, directly on the Nibelungensteig. Lindenfels is a small, idyllic town where you can walk to everything. There is a supermarket, a bakery, a local history and kite museum, many beautiful hiking and biking trails, as well as our unique castle ruins with various events. Our house stands on the edge of the forest and is in a large garden. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, directly under the roof. It is well equipped (see equipment) and is quiet. The nearby forest invites you to jog or go for a walk. We are only a 5 minute walk to the next bus stop. This line leads directly to downtown Darmstadt. The large garden including a playground and access to the stream can be used to relax, sunbathe, play with children, have a barbecue or have a nice evening.

The fully equipped, modern apartment (95 m²) with separate entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. In the spacious and bright apartment, there are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The quiet location invites you to take walks and excursions to the nearby vineyards and the surrounding area. The center of Groß-Umstadt with its historic market square is 4 km away, Darmstadt 24 km and Aschaffenburg 26 km. The train station (700 m) offers connection to the public transport network.

Living in a farmhouse

You will stay on the first floor of the newly converted farm building of an old farm. Large garden with paddock and 3 horses on a small stream. Don't be afraid of free-range chickens and our herding dog Jule. There is a bookable sauna and a small swimming pool. Seating area with fireplace in the garden free of charge. Cost for sauna is an additional €15 per sauna session for 2 people only by arrangement on site. Walking with the horses can also be booked.

You live in a historic building, built in 1799 by the Princes of Mainz as a forestry administration, in Rippberg - a district of the pilgrimage town of Walldürn in the Odenwald region of Baden. The apartment was completely renovated in 2022 and invites both for a short and a longer stay. Due to the advantageous layout with 3 rooms, the apartment is suitable for maximum occupancy not only for a single family, but also for 2 couples, for example.

You will stay in a small cozy quiet apartment with an open living and sleeping area, a kitchen and a small modern bathroom. The property is right in the middle of the village. You can walk to shopping, restaurants and cafes. Unique hiking trails and mountain bike trails invite you to experience nature and sports activities.

We bought and built the farm 11 years ago, gardening and living here very happy ever since, despite all the tasks that are still waiting. Meanwhile, our daughter Nele's family also lives on the farm. Nele is also always responsive. You will find us on the outskirts of Wald-Erlenbach.
