Beautiful Hidden Gem in Leipzig's quiet neighborhood Katarina's place is more than what is described on the website. The house is located in a secluded quiet woody area, and it is a more than 100-year-old, pretty large cottage that they remodeled in their basement for guests with a modern design. This AirBnB includes a large living room with two beds, a kitchen with an extra living room surrounded by plenty of green, and a modern bathroom with a large shower space. I love their floor heating system. Once you set the temperature, you enjoy the warm room even when it is stormy outside. I experienced life in Germany, cooking, composing garbage (it was my first time!), and chatting with Katharina about our families and the two countries. Katharina is very caring, and sincere, and she never forgets the hospitality. It is rare to meet such an honest good person on earth these days. We missed an opportunity to walk to a lake nearby together, so I will return to her home again.

It was super nice. Awesome view of the lake. The house looks like in the pictures and we felt right at home. There was a small supply of spices and more than enough firewood for the fireplace, both of which we enjoyed using. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Everything was as we needed it. The key handover may have been slightly problematic. When we arrived, it was already dark and the setting of the code was hard to see. We were very satisfied with the accommodation; we can imagine renting to Eileen again. It was frostily cold outside. That's why we loved that the living room was heated when we arrived.

Dolores and Günther are wonderful hosts. We were there as a family with 3 small children (2.5.7 years). Also a great place for children. The children could play nicely in the apartment. Since we were there in winter, the apartment was heated with 2 ovens, which Günther patiently and reliably fired for us. For the kids who didn't know it so far, also a great experience. Günther found great excursion destinations for things to do with the children. We'd love to come back to Dolores and Günther!

I had a wonderful stay at this place! Everything was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and the bed incredibly comfortable – perfect for relaxing nights. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, flexible and welcomed me very warmly so I felt right at home. The family atmosphere made the stay particularly pleasant. I will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!

Everything was great! 😊 The accommodation is really well located and you can reach everything you need on foot. Also the nearest tram stop was not far away. Sightseeing is within walking distance, restaurants and shopping as well. The place is actually even nicer than in the photos and the value was more than right. Thank you, I'd love to come back!

The few days we were allowed to spend there with our family were unforgettable. The apartment has fully met all our needs. The amenities in the apartment were outstanding, which we experienced for the first time. The special highlight for us was the garden with terrace. Our children 9, 3 and 2 had a lot of fun there. Host Elke was always available with tips and advice for excursions. We were totally satisfied and will be back. VG Family Del Monego

We (4 adults) were allowed to be a guest at Tristan's big house for 4 nights. We had enough space and we felt very much at home. Everything was clean and it was as described. Above all, the sauna was our very personal highlight. We are happy to recommend the accommodation or book it again ourselves.

Really nice hosts, a lot of attention has been paid to small details. For example, drinks in the fridge, towels, and linens. The photos of the property really look bigger than the space is in real life. But this can be a subjective perception, but I was surprised after all. Nevertheless, a great place to stay if you want to spend a few days in Leipzig and what to sleep.

Felix contacted us before check-in with extensive information on arrival, etc., and was always easily accessible for questions. Kai’s place is lovely and comfortable. It has everything a family needs, including very good hardware and equipment. The surroundings around the lake are fantastic. You can go by bike or walk. I would come back.
