The Owl's Nest @ Manitou: Mtn Views on Main Street

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
OMG! What a great property tucked into downtown. Staying here felt like being “in on” a secret. The town was hopping with spring breakers, but the unit was very quiet overall. The reserved parking space was an added benefit. The unit was clean and cozy with everything at your fingertips. I would say that if you plan to cook in the unit bring aluminum foil. 😊 Again, if you get the chance to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

If you love Architecture and the best views of Manitou Springs, then, this is the Home to take it all in. Shaun n Laura have done an amazing job renovating their 1920’s home. Upstairs Bedroom features a balcony facing east to get your day started with a beautiful sunrise. Being able to wake up in the morning, open the doors and take in all that fresh air is bliss. Directly behind you, as you admire the creative well designed pitched ceilings, is a view of Pikes Peak. And if it couldn’t get any better, as you face North….Well, you’ll have to check it out yourself. I honestly must return to see the views in the winter. Likewise, to keep up with Shaun n Laura’s creative additions to the home. There is also a private backyard area to build a fire. Brand new appliances throughout. Quiet neighborhood. Absolutely, Marvelous!!

Cozy cabin on 8acres with views, trails, & Firepit

NoelleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My friend and I had a great time at this cozy cabin. We did have some trouble finding the cabin, and the hosts were VERY responsive and helpful. I will say, for a guest who is not used to “roughing” it, the compost toilet can be a bit uncomfortable to use, since it is basically a port-a-potty. We did experience an ant problem. When we messaged the hosts about it, they did offer to come with bug spray. Overall, a comfortable stay with very responsive hosts. It’s the perfect getaway.

Britinee was incredibly accommodating for a last minute booking. The property was exactly as the photos and description described, parking was a cinch, and our pups really appreciated the dog friendly touches. We would definitely stay here again. Five stars all around!

Downtown Manitou Artist's Glen

Jared’s place was absolutely perfect for our short get away. It had everything and more and they used the space wisely. The hot tub was a very pleasant surprise. Jared was very quick to respond with anything we needed. Close to the incline too which was my biggest draw. Very nice and cozy place with great hosts.

The 1951 Shop

StevenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Overall, we enjoyed our stay the hosts were kind, responsive, & clearly put a lot of care into the space. It’s peaceful, well-stocked, & especially good for couples or families with young kids. There’s a large, deep, undivided sink great for bathing little ones, thoughtful child-safe details, & two nice outdoor seating areas. High end appliances.!However, some notes: The listing says “driveway parking for one vehicle” in one spot & “two” in another, but it’s actually gravel parking between the Airbnb & an outbuilding. There’s not enough room for a wheelchair accessible van, & the gravel is difficult using walkers. Inside, many fixtures (shower head, mirror, hooks) are mounted very high, & the shower threshold is taller and wider than expected. The addition of grab bars would help solve this problem. We had to rewash linens, clean the washer, and remove & wash a mildewed shower curtain. Still, the space is lovely & we’re giving 5 stars because the hosts are new & clearly trying hard.
