Monthly Rentals in Rectortown

Great people, very helpful and responsive in a beautiful setting with a fantastic, large room. I arrived from Texas when a winter storm hit and I am not used to the cold. M was generous with the use of the heat and very accommodating but stepping out to get to the kitchen was chilly. Still it was a great stay in a beautiful setting with an accommodating host.

Always a great stay at the Soper House. It is so peaceful and relaxing. On a sunny spring morning or a crisp winter’s day we enjoy seeing the local wildlife. We can cook in the kitchen with ease and feel right at home. Ann is very friendly and helpful, and we are always made to feel welcome. A great place to stay and be near everything in town.

Fantastic cabin in the woods! Down a dead end road and VERY quiet! Our favorite part was probably the hot tub (used it every night lol). The driveway is very very steep but as long as you have AWD or 4WD you will have no problem making it up. There is also plenty of room to back up before you go back down. Keep in my mind if you are brining a furbaby(s) that there is not fence to keep them contained. We had a great time and would most definitely book again if we were in the area :)

Qasim and his wife were so wonderful and responsive the entire stay. He even came right home to help me when the power triped to restart my laundry haha I felt so bad he came all the way back but he was just so kind and never made us feel like a bother at all. Their back yard is incredible! They play jungle gym was a major hit for my kids! And it was incredible having a nice fenced back yard for our dog to play too. Overall the entire experience was lovely and the hosts were just as good if not better than anyone could ever hope for! I love that their place is also in a safe and relaxing neighborhood close to DC which is exactly what we were looking for with our 4kids and our dog! Beautiful stay and beautiful people! Thank you for having us!
