Holiday rentals with breakfast in Rappahannock River

We enjoyed our stay at Cadu's while we visited family and friends in Richmond. Clean, comfortable, cozy house -- great communication with host.

We had a fantastic stay at Nick and Liz's place. The house was perfect for two couples, allowing us our space and own bathrooms and great communal areas to hang out. It was an easy 6 minute drive from the house into Middleburg, and Nick and Liz provided great local food recommendations. We were just there for a weekend for a wedding and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay.

The house was everything we hoped and more! The hosts clearly give a great deal of thought to their guests' comfort, with so many little details covered. It was great to arrive after a long drive and find snacks and breakfast foods in the fridge. Also when I realized I had forgotten a personal care item, I was fairly amazed to see that the hosts provided a variety of those easily forgotten things -- making my stay that much easier. We also truly loved having our morning coffees on the sun porch, and playing games of corn hole in the beautifully maintained back yard. We would absolutely stay here again!

Above & beyond! The home was in a great spot with an excellent price. Tim was extremely accommodating with our requests and communication was perfect. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs and butter. The cupboards were stocked with staples and all the supplies we needed - toilet soap, shampoo, Kleenex, paper towels, bath towels, snacks, granola bars, etc. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone and would use again. The Carriage House is beautiful. From the decor, well-stocked kitchen to luxurious linens, we were very comfortable in this home for a long weekend. Just outside of Farmville in a beautiful rural setting, is a jewel of a home. We were a party of 4, busy with different wedding festivities all weekend. It was lovely to start our days on the porch with coffee and come home to relax on the porch to enjoy the each other. Thanks to our host for a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and all the goodies for us to enjoy. We appreciated your flexibility when we needed it! I hope to return to enjoy more of the area, shop at Greenfront and stay in this lovely home once again.

Wow! What a wonderful place to spend a few days!! The Resort certainly lives up to its name. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed every detail that was meticulously prepared for us. The host was more than helpful and accommodating for our group of 5 which included two teenagers and my mom who benefited from the accessible floorplan. The weather was perfect for the pool too. Thank YOU and we cannot wait to return the next time we are visiting family in Richmond.

this was our second time visiting after 2 years it looked fresh and clean and beautiful as our first stay the house is beautifully appointed with furnishings and all the comforts of home right down to drink shaker and hand mixer needed for me to make goodies to take to my families home nearby they also filled fridge with all sorts of goodies like eggs butter bagels juice pancake mix and strawberries just all sorts of things it really made us feel just like home can’t wait to go back again next year

This home was wonderful and just as described. While Blair was out of town, Karen treated us wonderfully, even greeting us upon arrival and offering to help us get inside. We didn’t need much, but she was immediately reachable and ready to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay again!

Such a great space with everything you need. You’ll enjoy your view in the comfort of the space. The view and the environment were great but having a place to be comfortable in was even better.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4nights to visit a family relative in DC. Great place and great price! Corbin was very helpful with everything we needed! We were able to check in without problem. Very safe place and close to a lot of places. We will surely be staying here again the next time we are in DC. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Corbin!

This place was in a great location! One block from the metro and a nice bar/restaurant called Bullfeathers very close by. We would stay here again. The only addition I would ask John to consider is to add a small cutting board to the kitchen. John was a great host as he left us a wide assortment of snacks, answered our questions quickly and he left us detailed information with a map to help us even more. Thanks John we had a great time!

Rebecca’s place was much bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. So happy that our dogs were able to stay with us! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a path nearby that lead to a playground and area to walk our dogs. Will definitely stay again!

Lynn's home was wonderful and quaint. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen and living area were perfect, and my stay was enjoyable. I'll stay again when I visit the Annapolis/DC area in the future! Thank you Lynn!

Had a great stay. Rebecca is a wonderful host and provided everything we needed including some snacks, breakfast items and plenty of coffee pods. House is in a great location for seeing the DC sights, close to the metro, restaurants, and Safeway. We also enjoyed the complimentary tickets to the O Museum. We highly recommend staying at Rebecca’s place.

John's place is so lovely in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood, easy to find and park, just 6 minutes to the Metro and train station by driving, 12-15 minutes to water front and King Street with bunch of restaurants. The bed is super comfortable, and all kinds of snack food in the room. The sweetest part is the peeled and sliced fruit in the refrig…John and Rick are very kind, we must choose here again and strongly recommend to those visit Alexandria.

INCREDIBLE! I was a little worried about staying in someone else's home with them - but the way that Bruce has the place set up feels incredibly private and safe. In addition, the space is beautiful and in a great location. The breakfast was SPECTACULAR! I was very comfortable here and highly recommend this accommodation!

We stayed in Katherine's place at a very difficult time - we came to DC for our son's heart surgery. We could not have been happier to be staying in such a comfortable, lovely, and truly homey place during this difficult time. The house is very practical, with a perfect lay out (it was my husband and I, our two kids, and our in laws staying at the house, and we had plenty of space). The play room and the variety of toys and books were absolutely amazing for the kids to be happy and entertained at home for hours on end, while my son recuperated from the surgery - the layout is excellent, because you can cook, or relax in the living room, while being able to monitor the kids at all times in the playroom. Katherine was very responsive, flexible and a please sure interact with at all times. The DC summer heat and mosquitos did not allow us to enjoy the backyard as much as we hoped, but in a different weather, the backyard would for sure be wonderful to enjoy.

What a perfect place to get away! Cozy, artsy home and such a lovely, warm host. She volunteered use of her rain jacket when I came unprepared, left a treat for breakfast but also left me in private to recharge. The bed was comfortable, with easy access to the bathroom and kitchen, gorgeous view into the trees over the deck, great water pressure. Odin, friendly doggins, was available for petting as desired but he was also the perfect, peaceful gentleman with no barking or other intrusive antics. I can recommend highly!

We've had a great time. The place has a wonderful location and we've had a great time in our (brief) stay. We hope to get there for a longer visit someday soon.

We absolutely LOVED our stay with Lindy. Her home is so comfortable and private. We enjoyed the deer in the backyard and having coffee admiring her beautiful garden. The bed was super comfy, with many thoughtful amenities including fresh flowers. She made us an amazing fresh fruit salad and delicious breakfast. The neighborhood is quiet and serene with scenic places to run and enjoy the view of the bay. Thank you Lindy! We'll be back!
