Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Rangitikei River

Thanks so much to the Kings ppl, we had a great stay. There’s a drying room for gear, a lovely restaurant and they did a breakfast bagel to take away which filled me & kids up to dinner! A great place.

Rudyard was a very good host, with a well kept house. We had his two guest rooms. One slightly larger than the other, but both quite adequate for our one night stay as we passed through Palmerston North. He served us a very thoughtful, filling and delicious breakfast considering a few of our dietary needs. He has a beautiful cat, although he keeps it out of the guest rooms as a courtesy.

Beautiful getaway experience! Amazing views, green grass, yummy breakfast and loved the private spa! The only thing the chalets need are privacy screens between each other to ensure extra privacy as you can see directly into another’s chalet/porch area

Isabelle and Shane are lovely and the accomodation was also lovely as well!! Great area and great location. The place was clean and peaceful and everything ran smoothly! The only issue we had was that the room we stayed in got quite hot at night and there was so air conditioning/fan and when we opened the windows we got lots of mosquito bites, but other than that not a problem at all!

Had a lovely stay after a day of travel. Lovely comfy beds, clean and welcoming. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Best stay since arriving in New Zealand two weeks ago. Lovely spacious rooms and bathroom with a comfy bed. Lots of little extras laid on. Lovely continental breakfast included. We really loved our stay.

we had a very comfortable stay in Janice's lovely house. the room had a heat pump, electric blankets and lovely linen. we were welcomed with a look around the house and a drink by the fire just chatting. enjoyed the buzz and meal at the Station Hotel in Hunterville. great stop on the drive through to wellington.

Very good experience :) beautiful tidy home, spotless bath room and the bed in our room was so comfortable. Nice little kitchen with all the essentials provided for breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again if we ever find ourselves in palmy again. Hosts were friendly & welcoming. Thanks for having us

Seen a few reviews on here that gave us a few doubts before we came however… this place is awesome! Yes it’s small, no kitchenette and it’s a communal kitchen BUT depending on your travels this place is great!!! We stayed 2nights and did the Tongariro Crossing hike. The room was very clean and was exactly what we needed in the most simplest form. The trains came about 3 times we were there and didn’t bother us at all. The continental breaky was awesome. The spa was better than what I’ve seen written here, it was only 38 degrees but that was fine. Great place
