We loved the house! It has all the amenities you can think of, a very well equipped kitchen and full laundry facilities. It is in a quiet area. We felt right at home in the cottage. It was warm after we got the fire going which was nice. The kids’ beds were thoughfully made up prior to our arrival and there were a lot of extra blankets which was great- handy as it did get cold throughout the night. Kitchen came with pans, oil, salt and pepper which was perfect. Unfortunately we only caught a glimpse of the back yard mountain view which was highly raved about in the reviews as we were checking out as the weather was gloomy the whole stay. It would have been perfect with an afternoon barbe. Thanks for letting us stay in your home :)

We had a very pleasant stay at Jenny’s place. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Jenny took the time to explain everything about the house and made us feel like part of her family. The home is fully equipped with everything you might need — from kitchen utensils to food, tea, coffee, milk, and other everyday essentials. It’s a cozy and warm space with heaters throughout, making it very comfortable, especially during the colder months. The property also offers a lovely view of the mountains and a peaceful farm-style environment. One of the best parts is its location — just a short 30-minute drive to Mount Ruapehu. It’s an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy the snow and cold weather activities. For a family of four, it’s a perfect retreat that combines comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. Hannah’s place was great. Beautiful views and the town nearby had some amazing food options. The only thing I would say is that was the heater would time out in the middle of the night. No matter how long we set the timer so it would get pretty chilly. But other than that beautiful place!
