Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ranchos de Taos

Great spot to replace and unwind. House itself is authentic New Mexican and all the personal small touches really make the place special. I highly recommend staying here, make sure to check out the local restaurants and shops as well.

My husband and I loved Tara and Jean's place. Walkable into Taos but felt out of the way, quiet and private. It's a great feeling to walk into a rental and feel at home and get really good vibes from a place. Their casita was really spacious and so pristine-really beautifully decorated but not crowded. The outdoor hot tub was super clean and private. What a pleasure to get into it after a day of hiking. The furniture (including the bed) were all super comfortable too. Tara had made some delicious scones for us and she had provided coffee, organic milk, juice and jam-all delicious!!! We would definately stay again and I have recommended Tara and Jean's place to 2 other friends who plan on staying with them in the near future. Thank you so very much!!!

One of our favorite Air Bnbs! Beautiful house and gardens. We loved absolutely everything about this house. The location was close to town and also the ski valley to be able to do all the hikes we wanted to do. Beautiful scenery. Great restaurants. Medley right around the corner was fantastic. Would stay here again without a doubt!

Pictures don't depict how comfortable, well-thought-out and fully equipped Tammi's place is. Don't be put off by the fact that it's a studio. This is the best use of space I've experienced. It felt roomy and cozy at the same time. We always cook in our rentals and Tammi's kitchen had everything we needed and all was first class - no yard sale utensils! The patio had several comfortable sitting areas to get out of the spring winds (always in NM!) and enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks. The casita is located out of town, which we wanted, but once you're there you realize how very convenient it is to the various sights in Taos. The view is worth the price alone. Our first night there, the winds were ferocious, and Tammi checked on us several times and made sure we knew where emergency candles, etc. were in case the power went out. We hope to return and stay for a longer period of time - it was just so peaceful and relaxing. We would give it 10 stars if we could!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our time here! We loved that it was secluded from town - a wonderful place to relax and just sit outside and enjoy nature. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want to get a true sense of what Taos is about, this is the place to stay! Laura is am extremely kind and responsive host. The house is amazing-cozy and quirky in the best way, as well as very very clean and organized. Have stayed here four times and am booked for stays 5 and 6 later this year!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Valdez Vista. The home is private, well appointed and has amazing views. Great location for day trips in the area and just a few minutes to downtown Taos. The hosts are great as well!

Kristin’s place was great and she is an excellent host. The house was totally comfortable - comfy bed, plenty of towels, good kitchen. The setting is spectacular, really beautiful views. The orientation of the house makes it feel like you are miles from anyone. We would definitely go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay to get the last bit of ski season in. The place was a quick and scenic drive from Taos Ski Valley, and Arroyo Seco had wonderful food options as well as some lovely galleries we could easily walk to. The space itself was cozy, quiet and peaceful. We could definitely see ourselves returning here!

Total dreamscape! This space is so peaceful, private and roomy. Ben is a super sweet guy and excellent host. Don't pass up a chance to stay at his place!

WE love this little place and the complex. This is our second stay here. Convenient skiing, lots of shops in Taos, great music venues. good restaurants. What more could you want!

This location couldn’t be better… We were able to walk around Red River from our place to eat and shop, we loved saving the gas money. Having a ski lift right behind the property is a dream come true- it’s truly a ski in and ski out location. We also loved utilizing the hot tub each day. Keevan’s place is in tip top shape and very clean. We were very comfortable and found it to be perfect for our family of 4. We for sure will try to stay here again next time we want to come to Red River. We had an amazing Spring Break trip. Thanks Keevan!

Really beautiful cabin near a lovely lake - and PERFECT for a holiday skiing/snowboarding! The cabin seemed overpriced, especially since they add an extra dog fee on top of the extremely high cleaning fee... and there wasn't really much hot water to accommodate more than 1 shower. But I can't deny that it's a really nice property that is in an amazing location, and we appreciate being able to bring our pup along for our trip!

We has a wonderful time in the mountains With our family. We haven’t spent time together since the pandemic. We wanted Peace & quite with plenty of room for the grandkids to run around . My husband has Back issues so steps where not an option For him. This house had everything to make us all comfortable!

We had a huge group of kids and adults, there was enough space that it didn’t feel crowded! Everything was clean and well taken care of. Some of our group had chemical skin reactions from the hot tub, we think the chemicals were not balanced well. The ski in ski out was AMAZING!! Overall a great experience!

We’ve stayed here several years in a row over Thanksgiving. It’s a great location-between Downtown Taos and Arroyo Seco (lots of good dining options there!). The property is exactly as described and Monica is always incredibly helpful and responsive. The property is also VERY well stocked. We were never lacking anything in the kitchen or bathrooms.

Condo was clean, well-appointed and perfectly adequate for a stay of a few days in Taos. It's more like a hotel room with a Murphy bed and kitchenette; however, it did appear to have been recently remodeled and updated. The resort has a game room, pool, communal kitchen, lounge area and laundry available for use. The location of the property is walking distance to the plaza, Kit Carson Park, and many other restaurants and attractions. The price seemed a bit high for the actual room, but it was a holiday week so I'm sure that had some bearing on the price.
