Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rancho Palos Verdes

STOP SEARCHING! BOOK HERE! From start to finish, our stay was incredible! Kevin was so responsive & helpful. Never intrusive-always available! We've stayed at many ABNB's (as primary guests, often as co-hosts, countless times as guests of friends/family). STAYING HERE WAS LIKE STAYING AT A DEAR FRIEND's HOUSE! All our needs were met. Vintage Spanish home charm with modern convenience! We initially got in touch to verify with Kevin that we could host a dinner party for 15-20 friends & family to celebrate our son's graduation from university. Every response was, "Sure!" and "No problem!" Kevin was always so accommodating throughout our stay. When I say everything you need to make your stay comfortable is at your fingertips, I am not kidding. Platters, plates, glassware, cutlery? Check! Plenty of towels, linens, placemats, napkins? Check! Forgot something? No worries! There are extra toiletries, sunscreen, coolers, umbrellas, etc. The backyard is a beautiful oasis! Gracias, Kevin!

We had a great stay! The house is very spacious and had all the basics we needed. I loved having enough room and closet space to totally unpack my clothes! It was wonderful to be walking distance to the beach as well as shops and restaurants, and just a short drive away from Downtown. I appreciated that there were also kid-friendly touches like plastic cups and plates, and our seven year old daughter loved the pool.

The house lived up to the expectations, LOVE that the kitchen had shutter windows where we could see the backyard & cook at the same time. We went on a late night walk & the neighborhood seemed really peaceful. 28 min to Disney in the morning, definitely would stay here again when we return to L.A. thanks again Chunjiang!

This AirBnB is genuinely one of the nicest places I’ve stayed - very aesthetic decor, pristine furnishings, and extremely comfortable beds! My family and I loved our stay and will definitely rebook next time we are in LA!

This is a great little guesthouse! I actually loved the loft bed, made the space feel so much larger than it physically is! Absolutely loved having an actual kitchen setup too for cooking! Not too far from the beach with multiple ways to get there, plus plenty of amenities at "home" when you don't want to go out

Love this place! It was one of the best Airbnb stays that we’ve had. The place was well appointed, with thoughtful amenities that truly made it feel like home away from home. Laura should write a book on how to do an Airbnb the right way. I highly recommend Laura’s place!

Everything was perfectly fine We had some issue with the cleaning, but the host sorted it out We absolutely understand, It’s not the hosts fault. Probably the host has to be more strict with the cleaners Otherwise, the host was very helpful and the stay was perfect as desired Location was perfect Location had ample parking

This place was exactly as advertised. We spent hours sitting outside in the yard relaxing during our stay which is exactly what we'd hoped for. The location was perfect: right near the beach and restaurants but in a quiet community. I'd love to stay here again.

Great stay! There is everything you could possibly need for a beach stay. Pam was so helpful and had lots of good suggestions. The location was perfect. Just a block and a half from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. Bed was super comfy and the space was perfect. Didn’t use the patio much but that also was a nice addition. Will def be staying again!!

This was one of the best AirBnb's I have stayed at. Jan was friendly and left several extra ammenities inside the home. The location was in a safe and walkable location. The outside seating areas were inviting and relaxing. My stay was very enjoyable and I will be returning when I am in the area again.

Stay was great. Felt right at home. Make sure you follow the check in details correctly. Felt a little uneasy at first but became comfortable once you settle in. Great location. Walking distance to LA live. Will return!

Met Tom upon arrival; he provided instructions as to where to park at another place that he owns about 100 yards north of his AirBnB. He stood around and chatted with us for about 10 minutes, offering some places to check out in the area where one could walk. There is a wonderful garden outside his AirBnB in the backyard. The garden had beautiful and fragrant rose bushes that were a hybrid developed at the Huntington Botanical Gardens in San Marino. We ate breakfast out there numerous times; it was peaceful and quiet for a city location. The inside of the unit was very clean and cozy. The bedroom had plenty of space to store our clothing and accessories and the bed was very comfortable and linens were fresh. Kitchen is small, but it worked well for us. We had dinner there on one night and breakfast there on most mornings over the six nights that we stayed. My wife and I would definitely return and stay at Tom’s place again.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy Airbnb in a very nice and convenient part of Santa Monica. The space is thoughtfully designed and makes excellent use of every corner — even including all types of phone charging connectors, which was a great touch for travelers. The backyard is beautifully decorated, and we really enjoyed having breakfast out there both mornings. Smitha was a fantastic host — very communicative and welcoming. She even shared some fresh fruit with us, which was such a kind gesture.

beautiful home with tons of fun for kids and adults. home was extremely comfortable with very high comfort beds and bedding and lots of extra sleeping areas. very well set up with everyone in mind. jacuzzi only goes to 99° but was still relaxing. some privacy around jacuzzi would be nice but the scenery from the jacuzzi is gorgeous. lots of skylights and natural lighting. Great place to spend time with family and not worry about electronics. highly recommend staying here Gabriella is a great host who responds right quickly

Great place to stay; especially if you have pets. Nice backyard. It was very homey and clean.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

Location was wonderful. We got a chance to see snow and our dogs loved it. It almost felt like a lifetime movie in a cute little town in a cute little cabin. Would stay again.

It was exactly as advertised - super cozy. The atmosphere inside and outside was a perfect getaway from the city. Everything was clean, and we truly hung out and rejuvenated in the beautiful environment. Communication and logistics with the host were effortless. The value was good. Being out there at night was magical. The only bummer was that my adult son and friends were crazy about the kids' space, but it was too big for them - LOL! We would highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a retreat of this kind.

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.
