Holiday rentals with a kayak in Raglan

Amazing place right on the beach! The tiny home is very well equipped, has a very good vibe to it and was clean. We enjoyed using the Kayak (although it was for one person and we were a couple) even though I rolled over at least 3 times 😅. We were surprised to find out that the oven was running on gad and not a regular oven but we rescued our potatoes by pan frying them instead.

It was a lovely place, we enjoyed the outdoor sauna and we appreciate the recommendations from Justine about the outdoor activities and the restaurants. Eventhough the house was near the main house, it was very private and quiet and the view from the bedroom looking out the water was just exactly what we needed. We just wished that we had time to stay longer to do the kayak but we will surely be back. :) Love, Nick & Marissa

Susan is a fantastic host: she communicates well, and always very friendly. We found her place to be exactly how she described it: in a quiet street, close to a private beach and very clean and tidy. Despite the weather, we had a great time in Raglan. We can highly recommend this gem.

Good communication from Rowena and quick to respond regarding provisions and recommendations for restaurants. Just spent a night so the studio was ideal for us both. Well thought out little space and TV tilts from the wall so it can be watched in bed as well as from the sofa. Very useful too that a nice selection of tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk was provided. All the linens and towels clean and quality cotton. Great Just a pity we didn’t get chance to sit out on the lovely balcony space but we had torrential rain during our stay!

We had a great couple of nights staying at Dave's place! Dave went out of his way to help when our van door latch was broken, gave us some great pointers when we went surfing and provided us with the boards and a wetsuit! Place was clean, tidy, private and overall just a really solid Airbnb experience. would definitely recommend! Also the two cats were super friendly which is always a plus!

A super place. Louise was a fantastic host, always available and made us feel right at home. So many lovely touches (asking what milk we would like on arrival, leaving local coffee to use, writing a very nice welcome note, leaving a bar of Easter chocolate) A very memorable trip, home and host.
