Our five-day stay in this beautiful, large house on the island was wonderful. It was a great adventure to travel to the island by motorboat. The house is located on a hill with magnificent views in all directions and offers both plenty of space and comfort. The hot tub was surprisingly no longer available, but that didn't bother us much given the manageable length of stay and the very changeable weather anyway. Elisabeth was a wonderful hostess. The information was very precise and helpful. She always responded to questions super quickly and kindly. We highly recommend everyone to experience this island adventure and enjoy this luxurious property.

Lovely private place with beautiful views and a cozy cabin. We’ve enjoyed the quietness and natural atmosphere in Eversvik. Highly recommended for people who are looking for a place to disconnect from busy lifestyles and enjoy a fairly romantic nature right at their doorstep.

Beautiful cottage in an exceptional setting. Meets the expectations we had with the equipment mentioned with. Clear instructions from Andreas for the arrival, and good responsiveness in communication. The chalet is located 1 hour from Bergen and 1 hour 30 minutes from Voss, leaving many possibilities to get around. If you were planning to stay in the area, this chalet is the right one!

Rolf and Lena's cabin is beautiful and nothing is missing. The location is unique! Hosts are very friendly. Lena had left us a coffee, Easter pastries and fresh flowers to welcome us. We had a great week here and even saw aurora lights.

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

What a beautiful location. Perfect as a home base for enjoying hikes nearby or just relaxing on the deck. We were very happy with this cabin. It was well equipped and comfortable! Thank you Karoline!

The House is extremely beautiful with an amazing view over the fjord and the Mountainside. There are amazing hikes within a short drive as well as in Odda. Loved it.

Mountains on three sides and a fjord on the other. If you're looking for solitude at the end of the world, this is it. A piece of advice, it's a single lane road in with blind corners and hills, so be ready to stop on a dime for on coming traffic. Also, the local market will have essentially anything you'd need, but they have eccentric hours so I'd recommend bringing along a day's worth of food to be safe.

Host is very responsive and receptive. The house is beautiful and one with its surroundings. You stare right onto the water. No complaints. I would definitely come back again.

The stay in Laila's hut was indescribably beautiful and relaxing. During our stay, we had rather mixed weather with a lot of storm and rain. Due to the very tasteful and cosy furnishings, the wood-burning stove with already existing wood and the huge window fronts with a great view of the fjord, we really made ourselves comfortable in the cottage. In addition, fishing for mackerel from the shore was already child's play. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Very nice house and great located on a small island. Unfortunately, a well-traveled road is very close, which only disturbs the view a bit. The equipment is good and practical. The house has a great atmosphere where you would like to stay. All in all, however, a very special place to relax and a fantastic holiday.

Anita and Tom were some of the best hosts I have ever had! Awesome place, could not have asked for a better experience. Our only regret was we could not stay longer.

Cozy cabin. Felt right at home. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Plus 15 min by car from a great hike called Lihesten.

We had a wonderful stay ! The cottage was super equipped . The location was ideal whether for fishing or sitting comfortably on the pier . The hosts are super friendly and accommodating! We would have liked to spend more time there and would love to come back again.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. The house is very secluded, about 15 minutes by car is a small shop(Joker). The house is about 5-10 minutes walking from the parking lot. You have to take the luggage with a Schukarre (is on site) or a (as with us) wagon. We had this information from the comments,a description in the info would be helpful:-) The house is clean and nice and cozy. There is hot running water ( rainwater! No drinking water, this must be taken with you) There is a small boathouse nearby, at Erlend you can rent a boat hobby 5.20 m with a wheelchair and 60 hp engine. We went fishing with it and did nice tours. I had a very nice time here with my children :-)

I can only repeat my review of our stay in May 2023: ...it is the best holiday cottage we have discovered so far on our travels. The great location with a magnificent view, a modern, well-equipped kitchen, a great bed and very tasteful furnishings, warm and cozy and everything tiptop clean. We had a wonderful trip and stay. The house is an absolute dream and just as beautiful as in the pictures. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Our host Linda is very attentive and friendly, we will be back very soon. That was my best Norway experience so far :)

We had a great stay. The house is bright, has a beautiful view and is in a nice area. Ørjan was very accommodating and communicative. Definitely a place to return to.
