Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rabun County

My mom and I flew in from California to meet long lost family for the first time!! We stayed a total of 8 nights. Comfortable, beautiful, and I appreciate the detailed instructions John provided for check in/check out/ hot tub etc. It definitely is helpful! During our stay we had a few critters visit the trash; a racoon and bear! So it is definitely recommended to visit the recycling center (as John does mention!) The cabin is inviting and cozy, well lit, plenty of space for everyone, and we were able to find everything we needed! The game closet for our rainy day, washer and dryer to use for the days we went to the lake, to the beautiful large dining room table we were able to eat together as a family at - and the comfortable bedrooms - this cabin has it all exceeded all of our exceptions and then some- and let me tell you those views from the patio/porch- I will never forget! Thank you so much!

Very clean, well thought out with kids games, arcades, double bunk beds and a separate space for entertainment. We loved the location and neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. 5 minutes to downtown shopping and restaurants. Clayton is a great town. Our family of 6 will be back.

Such an awesome place with amazing views! Communication was the best-- we had a brief power outage due to a major storm, but Lorraine stayed in constant contact and sent updates as it was being fixed. Would stay again!

This was such an absolutely lovely stay! It was private yet 5 minutes from downtown with so much to do! As well as about 20 minutes from Tallulah! It was the perfect size for two people and our dog!! Ginger even sat out bowls ready to go for him! Stunning view, peaceful and a great price. 10/10 recommend! Thank you, Ginger!!

We loved staying at this house for a little girls trip away to do some hiking and wineries in the area! We loved meeting Captain Carrot and the neighborhood dog Chomper! It was a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend it to others!

This was by far our favorite AirBnB, ever! We would start again in a heart beat. Wonderful hosts with great communication! Even had an extra propane tank on hand which saved dinner on the first night! Loved the house so much, we actually cancelled our afternoon excursion just to stay in and enjoy games and a movie as a family. Great location! Beautiful views. Highly HIGHLY recommend this stay!

great place parking is a little tight but beautiful place on the lake

This was the perfect cabin for a little girls trip! Cozy and tucked away in the mountain. Very quiet and no direct neighbors. It does require climbing a tad elevation to get there. Just to give you more info. We loved it here and felt very at home! Irene is responsive and very helpful. Great location to go to Clayton and surrounding areas. Less than 10 minutes from the gorge state park. Beautiful surroundings! We'd absolutely stay here again!

We loved the location of this Airbnb! It was walking distance to so many cute shops and restaurants. We loved how spacious the apartment was and the parking was very convenient. It felt safe and cozy and the apartment was close to Tallulah Gorge which is why we were in town. The thrift store and chocolate shop up the street are definitely worth checking out during your stay!

My boyfriend and I LOVED THIS PLACE! It was our first trip together and so happy we decided to stayed here. The cabin was very homie and looked right out to a breath-taking waterfall. The staff was so kind, especially Mike. He made us feel very welcome. If we are ever back to Tallulah Gorge area, we definitely want to stay here again. Thank you so much Mike, Tammi, and a Chippie🐿️!

The owners were very proactive and helpful!. Our stay was about a week after a hurricane and major flooding in the area and I really appreciated that they reached out proactively to let us know that the property was accessible and had power. We were staying for a wedding but the hosts had great suggestions for things to do in the area. The amenities were perfect for our needs and there were plenty of clean towels! Overall had a wonderful stay and would recommend for anyone who wants affordable accommodations for the area 😊

5 Stars – A True Outdoor Paradise! We absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning—truly an outdoor paradise. There are three beautiful waterfalls right on the property, which made the whole experience feel peaceful and magical. We enjoyed using the grill, smoker, and outdoor fire areas—perfect for relaxing evenings and outdoor meals. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up for guests to enjoy nature in comfort. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature!

Last minute booking for a wedding, host was very responsive and the place was nice and clean. Only complaint is that the walls are super thin, so you can hear the conversations of people in the adjacent rooms. Otherwise, a very good cheap stay in a beautiful area. Would stay here again!

Always enjoy staying at Paul's

Our stay at this property was amazing! It was a walkable distance to the downtown area so we barely drove anywhere. We had to message Paul for something and he was very responsive and quick. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to come to in the north Georgia mountains of Sky Valley. Beautiful views especially at sunset, hearing the chapel bells ringing, watching the humming birds fly around during the day and at night the bats, and friendly neighbors. The unit was roomy and comfortable. There were a few light bulbs burned out upon arrival and our host was very responsive and a maintenance gentleman was there soon to replace them. Lots of local activities and great restaurants in nearby Highlands and Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. For walkers the Sky Valley golf course closes at 7 p.m. and it's great walking or jogging around the beautiful course.

Jennifer was a great host and her condo was perfectly situated in Sky Valley. It looked recently remodeled and the entire condo was spotless. The tub and bathroom was so clean, as well as the bedding, living room, kitchen, you name it. We loved our stay here and loved that it was quiet & peaceful, but not totally secluded. My husband and I felt really comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our time overall there. We didn’t super LOVE the sleep we got on the bed, but we prefer softer mattresses and sleeping on a king size bed, so I think that contributed to it. It felt like a great quality mattress though and I think others would love it. Loved this condo & I would stay here again if I get the opportunity!

This place was even better than it looked in the pictures. Super clean, lots of light, and nicely decorated. Absolutely loved our stay and if we ever find ourselves in Clayton again we would book here without a doubt!

We had a great stay! The resort is gorgeous especially with the fall colors peaking. We enjoyed the view from the deck, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We also loved that just right down the road there was an awesome waterfall and hiking trail! We would definitely stay here again!

Always a peaceful place to stay, very private and beautiful but still close to town. Very affordable and a repeat stay for us. Can't wait to come back!

The condo was great! Clean, neat with everything needed! My only suggestion is when sending info the building and unit number could be in a better location in the email. Easier to see! The location of the condo was beautiful! The screened porch was great! Wish we could have stayed longer! Residents were very friendly! Quiet and so peaceful!
