House holiday rentals in Queens Domain

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Bowen was just a great host and very responsive. The home was wonderful with an amazing view, love sitting there and watching the ships. When we are in Hobert will be staying there again.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Beautiful place! 10 members in 2 families stayed for 4 nights while driving around Tasmania. We cooked most meals in and enjoyed the space for our Canadian/Australian family connection. There was a lot of space to be alone or together. We even did yoga on the top floor that was fully equipped. There are beautiful surroundings near the sea and we were grateful to have the pool available so close to winter. The total experience made a great memory for our families.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Fabulous house. Easy walk to wharfs and city centre. Perfect for us 4, lots of room, bedrooms large, beds cosy. Kitchen equipped with everything you would ever need. We were here for Dark Mofo, so winter- the back courtyard was pretty as a picture, would be fantastic in warmer months. Wonderful to stay in a historic solid home with great views of Hobart. Some prior mentions of car parking, we had a Midsize SUV, and found it easy to turn to park to face correctly when needed to drive off. The hill is a little steep to walk, but only for 50-100m if that. The road in front of house is flat. Lounge room spacious and very Oven and stovetop knife ware excellent, 2 fridges, so room for drinks. We loved everything, if you are considering a 2 couple place, and if happy for a short walk to centre( Brooker Ave has excellent overpass walkway), I highly recommend. Also an easy direct drive to Mona ( 16min ) to take in the Sunrise Amarna experience.

Tom and Cate’s place was amazing! One of the best places we have stayed! They had lots of thoughtful touches especially for the kids. They went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was great, the house was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved their little surprises and we loved staying there. Thank you so much for having us and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hobart.

Kerry and Marcelo’s home was just like the photos — warm, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. Every time we needed something, we somehow found it already there, which made our stay feel so thoughtful and easy. Thank you both for creating such a lovely space — we’d love to come back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is simply furnished, as described and was in a great location. This was a great place to stay with our two small kids and being so close to the park and a child friendly restaurant was fantastic.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home—not just a holiday rental. Ben and Tess were exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Communication was seamless, and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It’s the little things that really stood out: a pantry stocked with essentials like olive oil, a lovely selection of teas and coffee, and even fresh milk waiting in the fridge. These thoughtful touches made such a difference. The decor throughout the house was absolutely stunning—stylish yet cozy, with so much attention to detail. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking. The home is in the perfect spot, with scenery that you’ll remember long after your trip is over. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

this is the second time we have stayed here and I honestly have nothing to complain about. everything was perfect , again. We had everything we needed and more. Don't hesitate to experience this homely little surf shack for yourself, in the best part of Tassy.

We had a lovely stay at Peter’s Airbnb during Dark Mofo. The place is very spacious, clean, private and the view is incredible!! Peter is very friendly, responded quickly to any questions and ensured the place was nice and warm for our arrival. A very smooth checkin process. Thank you Peter, I would 100% book again.

Our stay at blue gate was just beautiful! The cottage was cozy and felt like home. It was within walking distance to coffee, food and the heart of the CBD. We would definitely stay here again 😊

Lovely and clean, quite, private accommodation. It was great that our fur baby was allowed inside. Fresh lemons on the bench, which were nice in my tea and Ros was very easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Karen was a wonderful host for our girls trip of 7 people. The house was stunning, very spacious but also warm and cosy and had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful views out over the river, location was very convenient for exploring Hobart and the Coal Valley and there was a supermarket nearby for supplies. Karen and Tony were super responsive in their communications and very flexible in allowing us early access. The perfect hosts. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic space, absolutely loved staying here and it felt just like home. Close to plenty of activities and dining, also being private and tucked away to feel comfortable at night. Will definitely recommend!

Lovely place , suburban Sandy Bay location. Very clean and uncluttered. Heating worked well, TV very difficult to manage without instructions. Appreciate the milk in the fridge. Probably could do with some more doonas over winter, there was no option to run the fireplace. Probably should over colder months. Very clean, suits adults or teenagers, not little kids. Very clean bathrooms, great hot water. Dishwasher instructions required also, but dishwasher works well.

Awesome place with stunning view, closed to supermarket and the freeway. Not too far from Hobart CBD, but far enough to appreciate the peaceful morning coffee.

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay. The place is as described, with the gorgeous view greeting us as we entered the house. Appreciated the toys and board games provided which kept the family entertained every evenings. Heaters are working well.
